….or, to be more precise, whoever the Maoist idiot was who approved the above flag.
A group of veterans confronted Democratic personnel and demanded that the Obama flag, which was flying under the U.S. flag at Democratic party headquarters in Lake County, Florida, be taken down. It was finally removed.
This will be portrayed as a trumped-up mole-hill of an issue, but I agree with the veterans: the flag is deeply troubling. The tendency to adopt a cult of personality with this President has been a distasteful aspect of Democratic politics since 2008. The school “pledges to Obama” and kid songs chanting his praises were obnoxious, but placing a president’s face physically on the American flag crosses over into totalitarian, Orwell-style strongman worship. This should be offensive to every American regardless of party affiliation, and I would like to see President Obama specifically condemn it.
There are strains of this undemocratic tendency, which is in direct opposition to the ideals and values of the United States and its tradition of citizen leaders with limited tenure and power, in both parties. With Republicans, its current embodiment is the attempted deification of Ronald Reagan, treatment he would have regarded as ridiculous. Some Democrats, however, seem to be on the verge of erecting Godzilla-size portraits of Big Brother Obama on the fronts of government structures. I don’t know what’s the matter with the brains of those who designed and approved the Flag of the United Obama of America, but they need a refresher course in what the United States is all about. It’s We the People, not He, the President, and those 50 stars are not an optional feature of our nation’s flag.

This probably was the unethical slide down the slippery slope created by college sports:
Nation Flags
“The flag should never have placed on it, or attached to it, any mark, insignia, letter, word, number, figure, or drawing of any kind. ”

The question is, can you take another graphic as the field and add 13 stripes? I I suspect that wouldn’t be considered attaching anything to an existing flag.
This cult of personality was what enabled Obama to win the election.
Of the Republican candidates, only Ron Paul has a cult of personality supporting him. The others do not.
At this point, I’d argue that for the most part, neither does Obama.
When I first saw this I thought it was another version of Obama as the Joker that pissed so many people off a couple years ago. Its does look a lot like it, Obama with white skin and all, so why isnt this racist?
Reblogged this on Espacio de MANON.
To my knowledge, the defacing or alteration of the American flag- whether for commercial or political purposes- is banned under a long-standing federal law.
