From MSNBC:
(The answer is “No.”)
If this is the level of respect and civility we can expect from partisans during the campaign, we are all in trouble.Any responsible news organization would fire Martin Bashir. As we all know, MSNBC, proud employers of Al Sharpton and Ed Schultz, is not such an organization.

I’m just baffled.
The Onion and the Daily Show have a lonely road ahead of them, as they struggle to come up with some variety of irony that nincompoops won’t be able to say or do without a trace of irony.
Wow, once in a while I kinda wish I had a television to “keep me informed.” Then I read one of your posts and thank God I don’t.

Do people actually watch this stuff?
Agreed. Ridiculous. The producer and MB should be canned. What is the point? But – I would put “terrorist fist jab” just below this in Imbecile Follies, among others. “Both sides” are just as guilty.
Yes and no. “Both sides” becomes an excuse to use the “but they started it” and “they do it too!” rationalizations. When we’re talking about gleefully exploding Presidential candidates, it is fair to say that Fox at its most insane would never make a graphic joke about Obama being immolated or, for that matter, beheaded. I’ll deal with the other side’s transgressions when I see them. “Both sides” doesn’t cut it in a case like this.
Disgusting. I’m surprised you watch Bashir. You have a tougher stomach than I.
I watch ’em all.
I watch ’em all.
All I can say is, what…the…hell…was…that?
This guy’s unbelievable, I just took a look at some of his other videos and they’re all just as bad. What is it he’s employed to do? It sure isn’t ‘reporting the news’ because all he does blurt his own opinions, which seem based on speculation. On Sarah Palin’s bus tour–
‘ In fact, the whole thing could
be in breach of a federal law because the United States Flag Code establishes important rules for the use and display of the stars and stripes, the flag of the United States. Under standards of respect and etiquette, it’s made clear that the flag of the United States should never be used for any advertising purpose whatsoever. Yet that’s precisely what Sarah Palin is doing. She’s using the flag of the United States for her own financial purposes. She drapes herself in the stars and stripes and makes millions of dollars in the process. ‘
He says that Romney’s campaign bus slogan ‘Every Town Counts’ is a lie because he’s only visiting 6 states. He’s smoking something before he goes on the air, don’t know if it’s dirty socks or what….
