Unethical Quote Of The Month: Biden Climate Envoy John Kerry

Without facts or economics on their side, they [“climate deniers”] flatly deny what is happening to our planet and what we must do to save it. They incite a movement against what they falsely label ‘climate change fanaticism,’ as they conveniently forget that the dictionary definition of a cult is the dismissal of facts in devotion to a lie.”

—-Biden Administration “climate envoy” John Kerry, speaking in Scotland after arriving on his private jet that emitted more carbon into the atmosphere than any of the automobiles I have driven or will drive in my lifetime.

Wow. Imagine, people actually voted for this boob to be President. And what a wonderful example of projection: has there ever been any movement that smacked of cultism more than the climate change freak-out? Kerry, whose entire public career has been a sustained war against facts (most people still think he’s Irish, for example), embodies the discredited theory that saying something is true when it isn’t constitutes a fact. Here’s a fact: crippling the U.S. economy to reach climate change policy goals will achieve nothing except hardship and disaster unless a magic formula is developed to force China, India, Russia and developing nations to do the same, and there is no such formula. What is it, then, that we “must do” to save the planet, John? Accept a Democratic Party dictatorship? Put the U.N. in charge of everything and everybody? Put YOU in charge?

“Climate change fanatacism” is a perfectly fair and accurate description of what Kerry is pushing; I’m sorry it hurts his feelings. Here’s another bit of his speech:

“And while they refuse to accept the facts behind increasingly obvious damages…they lash out at the truth-tellers instead, and label indisputable evidence as hysteria. They compound the already difficult challenge of the climate crisis, by promising to do more of exactly what created this crisis in the first place. So now, humanity is inexorably threatened by humanity itself, by those seducing people into buying into a completely fictitious, alternative reality, where we don’t need to act and we don’t even need to care.”

Who are the “truth-tellers”? Let me guess: Kerry, Al Gore, Greta Thunberg and Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, that well-respected climatologist Leonardo DiCaprio and The Squad, along with the journalists and pundits who declare every snowstorm, hurricane, wildfire, heat wave and unpleasant weather event as proof of “man-made climate change.” Am I right? Isn’t calling Kerry, Gore, Thunberg, Biden, and Pelosi “truth-tellers” intrinsically hilarious?

“Do something” really has become the Left’s fantasy policy on a whole range of issues, hasn’t it? Kerry says we need to act, but he obviously doesn’t have any clue what action will solve the problem he believes is existential. Just act—ACT! Kerry and his fellow cultists don’t have a nostrum that they know will “work,” though everything they propose will be wildly expensive, but not being supportive of “let’s see what happens” policies marks responsible citizens as “threats.”

John Kerry is an asshole.

And for those of you who are inexplicably seduces by the latest Kennedy on the stump, everything Kerry said in Scotland would be endorsed by RFK, Jr.

  1. Just as when Blinken steps on his crank, we look on the bright side, we think it could’ve been worse, he could’ve been a scotus jurist, so too do we think much the same when Kerry appears here and there around the globe looking like Herman Munster: he could’ve been potus, generalissimo of legions feverish climate warriors (luckily the civilian climate corps, modern day Brownshirts, in the Build Back Better bill was trashed) only he’s got the gravitas of a (Edvard Munch – The Scream) squeaky loud Greta Thunberg or a much diminished Joe Biden.
Unethical? Yes, big time because his claims will be neither proven nor disproven. And he’ll be long dead before rising seas engulf his Nantucket home so he can’t be said to be lying.

      • Kerry, who married the Heinz fortune, is one of my least favorite types: a politician who marries heiresses as his business plan. Kerry’s father and all the Symington brothers, and their son Fife, who married a chemicals heiress, also come to mind. Of course, there’s John McCain, who divorced his first wife to acquire, er, marry the Anheuser Busch distributorship for all of Arizona, thus becoming the Senator from Budweiser. I find these guys absolutely despicable and give no credence whatsoever to anything that comes out of their mouths. They’ll do anything for a buck.
