More Ethics Estoppel: President Biden Is The Last One I Want To Hear Call “To Change The Poisonous Atmosphere In Washington”

This is head-exploding hypocrisy, and I’m not going to let it pass.

Yesterday, announcing yet another give-away of money the U.S. doesn’t have to people who don’t deserve it—a student loan forgiveness stunt—Biden said,

“More than anything, we need to change the poisonous atmosphere in Washington. You know, we have strong disagreements, but we need to stop seeing each other as enemies, need to talk to one another, listen to one another, work with one another.”

How dare he? It was just about a year ago when Biden called Republicans fascists and dangers to democracy. Has he forgotten? Oh, heck, its poor addled Joe: maybe he has. I don’t care. This is ethics estoppel in its purest form: even though addressing the culture of hate, revenge and demonizing in politics is desperately needed, Joe Biden is among those who mock a legitimate ethical objective by endorsing it. Maybe there is a Democrat somewhere who isn’t in that position, but I can’t think of any.

Have any Democrats criticized the endless Jan. 6 kangaroo hearings? How about Rep. Bowman’s “poisonous” “talking points” blaming Republicans because he broke the law and lied about it—remember them?

Have any Democrats pointed out that this just further poisons trust? Nah, of course not. They don’t have to do anything about the “poisonous atmosphere,” they just have to do their part by telling the public that the poisonous atmosphere is all the GOP’s fault.

Yesterday, Biden’s paid liar, who is also a genuine, true, gibberish-spouting dolt, was asked about Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) being carjacked at gunpoint in Washington, D.C. Her answer was that Republicans were to blame for the crime because they didn’t vote for Biden’s American Rescue Plan….which passed anyway. D.C., meanwhile, is another Democrat-run, BLM-boot-licking city with a soaring crime rate. So how does this compute? Here’s Karine:

“I’m going to speak to what the President has done, right? The President has been very, very straightforward about what he has done to make sure that communities are safe,” Jean-Pierre began. “The American Rescue Plan — not one Republican in Congress voted for it. Not one. There were billions of dollars in that plan, in that — in that act to make sure communities across the country got funding so that they can indeed hire more police officers so that they can keep their community safe. Republicans had nothing to do with that. They were not involved in that. They decided not to vote on the American Rescue Plan. That’s just a fact.”

So Republicans are responsible for a D.C. car hijacking because they didn’t vote for a Biden program that obviously was not effective in preventing the hijacking. Brilliant. That’s the message of the President’s spokesperson on the same day he calls for an elimination of the poisonous atmosphere in Washington and for the parties to stop treating each other as enemies.

Biden might as well wear a giant neon sign on his head declaring “I’m an asshole.”

  1. Interesting this “poisonous atmosphere” was only recognized as inquiries began to focus on the biden backroom self-enrichment and collusions.

  2. And I’ll bet no one called Karine on the fact that the bill passed despite Republicans not voting for it. After all, bills that pass without the support of the other side are the same as bills that don’t pass at all? Or something?

  3. What the Democrats really mean by “change the poisonous atmosphere” is “everyone bend over and kiss our asses like good little subjects”. They don’t want the atmosphere changed, they want everyone to do what they tell them to. They can all bite me. I’ll cooperate with their plans right after hell freezes over.

  4. Joe never says anything, he just reads what’s handed to him, to the extent he’s able. He’s no longer capable of cogent thought.

  5. And that’s the truth. Political anger lowers citizens’ trust in the national government, causing people to view it with hostility, skepticism and outright contempt. And that anger is most often directed squarely at the federal government, not state or local officials.
Americans’ trust in government has been declining for six decades — about the length of time Joe Biden has been in government.
