Breaking! Yet this was entirely fake news..and ABC wasn’t the only major news organization reporting it as fact.
Before we go into that, however, here’s one more disgusting tidbit related to the fake news, widely disseminated by our incompetent news media, that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza killing 500 Palestinians. Long after it had been decisively proven that a) Israel had absolutely nothing to with any such bombing, 2) no 500 people were killed and 2) the rocket that landed outside the hospital in Gaza was a misfire by Hamas itself, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of the “Squad” told a pro-Hamas rally outside the Capitol today that Israel bombed the hospital. She even broke down in tears over the fictional tragedy. When will the Democratic Party take punitive action against Tlaib for her pro-terrorist conduct as a virtual agent of Hamas? If it doesn’t (and it won’t) when will voters take the responsible course?
Video evidence showed that a rocket was fired from Gaza, exploded mid-air, and then fell down onto the hospital grounds, but Hamas reported the fake story anyway. By early today, more proof had turned up, notably an intercepted conversation between jihadists admitting that a rocket had misfired near the hospital and caused the damage. Video showed no craters, and no massive damage. The hospital itself was not hit because the rocket fell into the parking lot. What damage there was—some burning cars— appears to have been from by burning rocket fuel. The report that 500 people were killed was a fabrication. There were some deaths in the parking lot.
But the lie worked, because news media outlets like ABC were already eager to make Israel look like the villains. The targeted disinformation campaign sparked violence in multiple countries, with Western embassies and consulates under attack in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan, among others.
(But the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation…)
Ace of Spades, whose summary of the revolting manner in which this false propaganda by Hamas was dutifully spread by our loathsome media drips with more contempt than my profession allows me, writes in part,
The “bomb” hit a parking lot, not the hospital itself. Were 500 people simultaneously getting into their cars when the “bomb” hit? Obviously very few, if any, people were killed by this “bomb,” and yet the media went wild repeating Hamas’ claims. Without verifying them.Without evidence, as Jake Tapper likes to write his snarky chyrons. …And of course: the rocket wasn’t fired by Israel. It was fired by… (dramatic music) …
Hamas“the Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” which is totes unconnected with Hamas…US intelligence now confirms that. (For all that that’s worth, which isn’t much, tbh.)But apart from all that, media — you got it 100% right!…
[Regarding ABC’s report above:]It “had” served as a shelter? According to Hamas? Well ABC, get ready for a nice surprise: It still serves as a shelter, if it ever did, because it’s almost entirely undamaged. What a propaganda bonanza — it turns out that the hospital Israel bombed also “served” as a shelter for those who’ve fled Israel’s bombs! What great luck for Hamas’s PR department!
PS, do you cram people into a hospital during a war? Aren’t hospitals jam-packed with the wounded during a war? Why would you additionally pack them with the temporarily homeless? You wouldn’t. It’s a lie, and it was obviously a lie from the first moment ABC typed up terrorist propaganda and spread this disinformation.
Now, leftwing propagandist defenders will say “The media didn’t say they verified this, they ‘merely’ said Gazans said this.” But bear in mind: This is a propaganda media that won’t even allow Trump to appear on their airwaves because the threat is too dire that he will peddle “disinformation” which they cannot “fact”-check in real time.
So: Total and complete embargo of all Trump statements.
But if a terrorist group makes a claim? Straight up on the website and blared over the airwaves!
Bingo!
Added: Here’s NewsBusters’ account of how CNN ran with the Hamas lie, only backing off it with reluctance and equivocation.
That video is interesting.
After looking very carefully at the video and aligning it with the buildings that are visible, it appears that that video was shot from the 5th or 6th floor of a building that is NW of the hospital and directly in line with the main gate of the hospital, so the video is pointing from inside Gaza SE towards Israel. The explosion in the video is definitely the hospital where they claim 500 people were killed and the large flaming thing between the buildings after the main explosion, when they zoom in, is one of the taller palm trees in the parking lot.
Possibility #1; Hamas rocket had some kind of engine failure, the rocket separated into two pieces, the engine fell to the ground in one spot and the warhead fell in the hospital parking lot. The first smaller explosion in the video on the ground was likely what was left of the engine and the second was the warhead.
Possibility #2: An Israeli Iron Dome missile intercepted a Hamas rocket, the Iron Dome missile fell to the ground (first smaller explosion) and the rocket warhead fell into the hospital parking lot (second larger explosion).
What’s clear to me is that the warhead that exploded in the Hospital parking lot was from a Hamas rocket, how it ended up there is not 100% clear.
What’s also clear to me is that the claims that 500 people died as a result of the explosion in the Hospital parking lot are a lie, there is no evidence to support the claims.
Below there was mention of a crater in the parking lot of the hospital that contradicts Israeli claims, well folks that’s not much of a crater, it’s less than a meter across and it’s clearly not anything close to the kind of crater that is created by bombs or missiles that are used by Israeli military jets on targets in Gaza.
Any way I look at this, the hospital was not directly targeted by anyone and anyone that makes claims that it was directly target is a bald-faced liar or a propagandist, it was unintended collateral damage in a time of war.
There’s my opinion.
The whole thread is full of geolocated videos. I think that video has a pinpoint POV associated with it.
There’s a lot of options available for what exploded in the hospital.
1) Israel intentionally targeted a civilian center with the goal of killing civilians.
2) Israel intentionally targeted a space known to be used by Hamas as a staging center and known to have human shields, but deemed the collateral to be a justifiable loss.
3) Israel targeted something else and it’s weapon malfunctioned.
4) Israel made a huge mistake in targeting.
5) Remains of a rocket targeted by Israel scattered randomly and just so happened to impact here.
6) Hamas intentionally targeted Israel and it’s weapon malfunctioned.
7) Hamas intentionally targeted its own people.
Right now, ALL of Gaza is a fireworks show as Israel is doing what it *must* do. Of all the options listed above only ONE of them makes Israel an evil actor. And there is exactly zero evidence from Israel’s past that leads any rational thinker to conclude that that option is what happened.
Of all the other options, Israel may have been the originator of the blast or maybe not.
But there are a few options there that actual make Hamas out to be monstrous – and they (and their predecessors) have been shown to target their own people in the past in false flag attacks, so can’t rule that out.
The bottom line is – in the chaos of war, where one side uses its civilians as shields and sometimes kills its own civilians – as long as Israel is doing its best to avoid civilian deaths while still targeting Hamas – then *EVERY SINGLE DEAD PALESTINIAN* regardless of if they die because of an Israeli strike or Hamas treachery, their blood is on the hands of Hamas.
As Humble notes below, it’s annoying that Israel has to engage in its own propaganda to avoid being blamed for the blast (even if the blast is a perfectly understandable and justifiable side effect of this kind of war). Because that propaganda makes Israel look nefarious.
All the media bags of hammers who were quick to jump on the band wagon to blame Israel for this great evil and claiming 500-800 people were killed are all now shrimp crawling their way out of promoting a Hamas lie.
Wanna guess how they’re backing out? They aren’t apologizing for the mistake – no, they are deflecting, like the perfidious idiot Cenk in the linked video – “OK FINE, maybe Israel didn’t strike the hospital, but why aren’t you mad about the 3,400 other civilians Israel has killed???”
Wanna know where they get the 3,400 number from? Hamas.
So they are backing out of one Hamas lie and using another Hamas claim to do so.
Unbelievable. And they think we’re stupid enough not to notice.

Michael West wrote, “The whole thread is full of geolocated videos. I think that video has a pinpoint POV associated with it.”
How do I find that?
Ah dang. That one may not have been specifically POV’d. I spoke too soon. But usually GeoConfirmed posts the proofs in addition to the footage to show what has been pinpointed.
Several of the videos and images should have proofs.
Can you give me an example of to find this so I know what to look for in the future?
I found a screen shot of the GeoLocation of the video and I picked the exact same building as the place where the video was shot and used three of the same landmarks and I did that like I usually do, visual terrain association.
Here’s an example of one of the geolocator’s proofs of another video.
Nested in this tweet of GeoConfirmed’s thread:
I saw a video of a massive explosion (daylight) which was purported to be this event. Knowing Hamas routinely stockpiles weapons in civilian facilities it looked like a munitions dump had exploded. No that this night time footage has emerged it is clear that the first video was used to give credence to the casualty count.
Nonetheless, if Hamas stores its munitions in civilian areas then those areas become targets and if the civilians are opposed to that then they can do something about that.
Why is Tahlib not charged with incitement to commit violence?
Why are a Palestinian and a Somali serving in Congress?
The actual facts on this incident don’t matter. We are talking about the Palestinians’ “lived experience.” Actual facts are white supremacist. If the Palestinians feel five hundred people were killed by an Israeli weapon, who are we to question their lived experience?
Well, she spoke to a crowd that took over the Capitol yesterday. When Trump supporters do this, they are treated like 9/11 terrorists. Is the DOJ going to go after every one of these people? No. Is Tlaib going to be indicted for this? Is Michigan going to try to take her off the ballot? If not, then you know that every one of the Jan 6 protesters arrested are political prisoners of our bannana republic DOJ.
A false statement is apparently only “disinformation” if a conservative says it or an Israeli says it. You know, attorney Lynn Stewart was disbarred and jailed for being essentially a handmaiden to terrorists by passing information along despite special administrative measures being taken against her revolting client who masterminded terror bombings in the United States. What should be the fate of so-called journalists who actively spread terrorist propaganda?
I seem to recall that UK Nazi propagandist “Lord Haw-Haw” was actually hung for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. I do not think Tokyo Rose met the same fate, but I seem to recall her as drawing some prison time. This wouldn’t be as bad if it hadn’t incited violence. But hey, violence against embassies sells, right? It sells even better if you can blame it on barbaric acts by a country that everyone in the journalism industry seems to hate.
We are now 7 years on from journalism throwing away what little pretense of objectivity remained in the name of preventing a presidency that actually did okay for this country until China unleashed a deadly virus on the world and the Democratic Party capitalized on that to destroy that presidency simply because they hated the man at the apex. During that time, journalism duly did its part, making certain that glaring spotlight shone on every mistake the previous administration made, and portraying every success as being in spite of that administration while every failure was 100% that administration’s fault. Since then, journalism has also been doing its part kissing the current administrations ass and acting as its greatest cheerleaders. After all, everything that goes bad at this point is 100% the fault of the previous administration. Joe Biden is still 100% with it, smarter and more energetic than staffers less than half his age, and the greatest president to sit in the White House since FDR. The rest of the country just doesn’t seem to comprehend that. (Sarcasm off)
The fact is that too the journalism industry it’s no longer about telling the truth. It’s not even about telling some form of the truth. It’s all about just spreading the lies of the favored side and telling the rest of us what we should be thinking. I never thought that I would advocate for going after the press, but when the press proves itself to be an enemy of the country, then maybe it’s time to take steps. Reporters are generally not a very brave lot unless they are asking questions in front of a camera where any action taken against them will be recorded, but the cameras can’t be on all the time. Back when superstorm Sandy hit and drowned a good part of New Jersey and a good part of long island, I remember Chris Matthews saying something to the effect of it being a good thing because it helped Obama get reelected. The studios where he recorded his show we’re actually not too far from where I live. Members of my extended family were impacted significantly by the storm, my family was impacted by the storm. When I heard that, I seriously considered running out the door, getting in my car, and lying and waiting for him so I could beat the tobacco juice out of him, just like that one guy hit British lefty politician George Galloway in the mouth and broke his jaw after calling him out for the anti-semite he is. Of course I came to my senses and decided against it, but maybe it’s time we take the restraint off and start going after these enemies of the people. If you do, try to go for broken jaws or other injuries to the face and head to shut them up for a while.
Disinformation (noun): A fact or opinion that disagrees with authority.
A lot of people pretending to be objective and above the fray keep saying “big mistake by media”, “media very irresponsible”….
Guys- when the media does it once or twice or even just three times it’s a mistake.
But the media has been reporting every story with a negative slant towards Israel since the 1990s.
Once they’ve done it the millionth time- it isn’t a mistake or irresponsibility- it’s because they hate Israel.
Maybe those who support Israel need to start teaching them a lesson. I wonder how well some of these MSNBC reporters would report the news if someone cold cocked them on the way to their car.
When this story broke I paid close attention to reports and remembered this…
…so I did what I usually do in these cases, wait, get as many facts as I can so I can come to a reasonably informed conclusion.
I spent some time looking at the area on Google Earth Pro, looked at the aerial video and photos of the hospital right after the explosion, watched the videos of people interviewed, saw the video and photos of the reported damage and noticed right away that something was wrong with the story, almost all of the video and photos didn’t match the building structures in the area surrounding the hospital, but I waited until I saw more evidence. It’s become clear to me that video has been specifically cherry picked to support their false narrative. I’ve come to the conclusion that, other than an explosion happening in the hospital parking lot area that probably killed and injured a few people, the whole story was an intentionally fabricated propaganda lie spread to inflame anti-Israeli sentiment.
Based on currently available evidence that I’ve seen, my assessment of this whole incident is that it is a completely false ends justify the means demonization propaganda lie about Israel. I’m sure the sources of the propaganda figured that the fog of war would cover up their intentional deceit and those that tend to oppose Israel will spread the propaganda but this case might backfire on Hamas in the world outside of anti-Israel Islam extremism and give Israel the propaganda they need to garner support for their cause. Hamas = Liars! What’s sad is that those in the middle east that already have a very strong anti-Israel bias and are prone to deadly terrorist violence will swallow the propaganda narrative whole, and like a bunch of herded sheep that completely ignore all the facts they’ll issue some kind of a global call to arms against Israel and anyone that supports them.
This war has the potential to suck many other countries into direct combat.
Then let’s do it. Let’s ignite the cleansing fire that the Middle East needs.
I think it’s important to take a big step back from things like this and wait for more information, and not just “more information” as: “the first bit of information that reinforces our biases”, because what we have are two nations at war, and just like in any war, there’s propaganda.
Take this for example:
“By early today, more proof had turned up, notably an intercepted conversation between jihadists admitting that a rocket had misfired near the hospital and caused the damage. Video showed no craters, and no massive damage.”
There is absolutely a crater impact, it’s about 2 feet outside the frame of the top down satellite images the IDF released.
And I’m not saying that says anything definitive, but for some reason the IDF decided to release an uncentered image that just happened to not include something that made their case a little worse, and because of it, sentences like the one above are being said far and wide as evidence that this wasn’t an airstrike.
And as for the recording… I have doubts as to the authenticity. These guys were organized enough to pull off a land, sea and air attack on Israel without the IDF being aware of it, only to admit in pristine, crisp, intercepted audio that this was on them?
Really though, I have no idea what happened here. And frankly, I’m not sure it matters.
Who is the person that which fact pattern changes their mind on this?
If you were predisposed to be sympathetic to Hamas, and a rocket misfire happened to land in their own compound, what changes for you?
If you were predisposed to be sympathetic to Israel, and an airstrike landed in this parking lot, perhaps because of the rocket barrage incoming from Hamas, what changes for you?
I have to admit, I wear this on my sleeve: I support Israel in this. I don’t think that Israel would purposefully hit a civilian target that Hamas wasn’t actively hiding behind, so even if that was an Israeli airstrike, I would assume that it was an accident, and while that’s tragic, war is messy.
I saw that same impact crater in the BBC’s photographs of the site. It’s far too small for any conventional air-dropped bomb like the Mk81 upward. Call it bigger than a hand grenade, but probably no bigger than a 155mm shell. It’s too deep and narrow for an air burst fuse. Maybe a Hellfire or Israeli Spike missile would be small enough, and both can be fired from drones, but the Spike puts out telltale cubic Tungsten-alloy shrapnel that you would see peppering every surface of those cars. I suppose I can’t rule out a Hellfire, particularly with a thermobaric warhead to explain the fireball. But that wouldn’t explain the mid-air explosion, or the chatter from Hamas.
I’m going to be honest… I have no idea. I’m not an expert in ordinance and I’m not going to pretend to be.
All I know is that it seemed like a very important talking point that there wasn’t a crater. Except that there was a crater. And the only reason we didn’t know for quite a while that there was a crater is because the IDF cropped it out.
And frankly, I don’t know what talking point this was supposed to reinforce. Now that I know there’s a crater, I still have no idea what happened, and I’m left scratching my head because I don’t think that either of the two most likely scenarios really moves the needle.
I mean, even the most atrocious of possibilities:
Let’s say Hamas bombed their own hospital on purpose for a photo op.
Ok. I don’t think their supporters are going to pack up their toys and go home, and if murdering babies in cribs didn’t convince someone to be against Hamas, then I don’t think a hospital bombing will either.
On the other side, let’s say that Israel Bombed the hospital on purpose because they wanted Palestinians in the area to die.
Ok, I don’t think the people who support Israel are going to budge on the question of Israel’s existence, even if this was a full scale atrocity, there are still 1000 dead Israelis and a Hamas military machine that needs disarmament.
Obviously, I don’t think either of those things happened, reality is going to be somewhere in the middle of that… And so what’s the point? If the extremes aren’t going to move people, what is this going to do? Why are we so invested in the relative purity of the combatants in this war, when we already have a very baked-in idea of who we’re going to support.
I’m sick to death of performative, pyrrhic moral victories.
Ukraine has accidentally bombed themselves several times and even accidentally bombed Poland if I am remembering correctly. No one ran to accuse Ukraine of war crimes.
Nobody hates the Ukrainians the way certain people hate the Jews. That’s why.
Yes, it is more of the “everyone we hate deserves to pay, and everyone we like can do no wrong” logic the elites have been flaunting the last 7 or 8 years. The US government is a giant, tyrannical, authoritarian tick sucking the life out of the American people and injecting poison into everything. The poison is easily observed at work amongst the media, academia, and other establishment institutions.
Meant to drop this here:
