Helpful Ethics Alarms Tip For Girls’ and Women’s Athletes and Sports Team: Refuse to Compete Against Biological Males BEFORE Someone Gets Hurt

The KIPP Academy girls high school basketball team includes a (“transitioning”…or not, reports are unclear) a male player who “identifies” as female, which is all that the increasing wokeness-crippled Bay State requires. Section 43.3.1 of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association handbook states that “a student shall not be excluded from participation on a gender-specific sports team that is consistent with the student’s bona fide gender identity.”

And what, you may ask, is “bona fide gender identity”? The player in question is six-feet tall, appears to have facial hair more consistent with a teenage male, and is much stronger than the average drum majorette. The Daily Item reported that “KIPP officials refused to confirm the player’s gender identification,” but if she (he?) is playing on the girls team, presumably he (she?) identifies as female. Now, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association also says a student like that one can’t be included on a roster “solely for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage.” The key word there is “solely,” a weasel word all lawyers are familiar with. It literally means that having a boy who will seem like a superstar in a girl’s sport on a team supposedly for females will be acceptable no matter how unfair it is and no matter how much of an advantage it gives that team if there is any other reason for letting him (her?) change locker rooms. Maybe the newly minted female needs a boost in confidence!

The player is under scrutiny after the Collegiate Charter School of Lowell, Massachusetts forfeited its game against the KIPP Academy at halftime after one of the Lowell team’s female player appeared to be injured in a collision with the bona fide, six-foot KIPP player who has male reproductive organs. The athletic director of the forfeiting team claims that it was the fact of the injury, not the reason for it, that prompted the forfeit: the roster was depleted, and the coach and the real live girls feared another injury to a healthy player would handicap their chances in the play-offs.

It sure sounds to me that the school and its players are terrified of being called “transphobic” as much as they are worried about having a trans-player put them in wheelchairs.

I’ve written this before on the topic off allowing the Lia Thomases of the world compete in women’s sports: the issue will be settled, suddenly and tragically, as soon as female-identifying male athlete cripples or kills someone with two x chromosomes. That blank gravestone will get some girl’s name on it, because somewhere out there is a girl whose life will be cut short if this insanity isn’t stopped immediately. The way it gets stopped, the only way, is if women’s teams and female athletes make the sacrifice now and refuse to play against athletes who have gone through puberty as males. That wouldn’t be “transphobic,” though of course calling it that will be the progressive response, just as legitimate criticism of black individuals is called “racist” and legitimate criticism of women is tarred as sexist. Boycotting this execution of the radical trans agenda is fairness, common sense and self preservation.

They should think of it from a Kantian perspective. Saving human lives in the future is a higher ethical priority than bowing to political correctness and woke bullying so a tiny, unfortunate minority can feel no different from everyone else, when they are significantly different, and that difference has natural consequences.

  1. If young women weren’t so inclined towards agreeability and neuroticism, they would have long since refused to participate in this nonsense.

    • 100%.

In every instance I can recall where women have come together to boycott the inclusion of men in their sport category, the eligibility rules for that sport were quickly amended to exclude males. It seems that lots of women don’t understand their collective power, though.
