This is already shaping up as “Trump Derangement Monday,” and it isn’t even noon yet. Steve-O-in NJ has a Comment of the Day on the way after revealing a disturbing anti-Trump rant from a previously distinguished lawyer. The lawyer’s Trump-Deranged, Democratic National Committee-endorsed talking points may be slightly more disturbing than the crazed claims “Blackish” actress Jenifer Lewis made when she sat down with Zerlina Maxwell, host of the radio show ‘Mornings With Zerlina’ on SiriusXM, but only because lawyers are supposed to be more responsible and reliable than show business celebrities.

Lewis, as her hostess provided no resistance or incredulity whatsoever but just nodded in approval, framed her remarks with “good” racism, telling the audience that “white people are scared” because “the world is brown.” (Personally, I’m scared of idiots irrespective of color, because they can mob you like the zombies in “The Walking Dead.”) As for Trump, she said that the former President would put black people “in camps” if re-elected. Right. Yo remember how he tried to do that in his first term, don’t you? First, no President has the power to do that if he wanted to, and second, there is no indication that Trump would want to. The assertion itself is crazier than the craziest thing Donald Trump himself has ever said, even in jest. Yes, it’s that crazy.

“This motherfucker is Hitler,”Lewis said, claiming that if he’s re-elected, Trump would “take a hammer and break the glass where the Constitution is.”  He will say “Now I’m the king of the fucking world!,” the esteemed psychic/paranoid/political analyst explained. “You will bow down, bitches!…He will punish everybody that didn’t vote for him,” she ranted. Somehow, Jenifer left out the part where Trump would declare himself Marie of Romania and melt buildings with his laser eyes.

Jenifer’s carefully considered fantasies about what Trump will do carry exactly the same measure of authority as those of any random wino plucked from Skid Row, but our silly celebrity culture somehow confers on her sufficient respect that these biased and inflammatory opinions are deemed worthy of broadcast. This nonsense is just her opinion, mind you, so it only qualifies as “misinformation” if one believes she can read minds and see the future, when the only thing she’s genuinely qualified to do is play black matriarchs in movies and TV shows. The ethics breach here belongs to SiriusXM, which is deliberately presenting someone as a political prognosticator who is really just another moderately educated actress who exists in a woke culture bubble, probably keeps her TV tuned to MSNBC, and who has no idea how government, the Presidency or politics operates.

We will be inundated by this stuff as the year goes on and the panic of our aspiring leftist totalitarians over losing their grip intensifies.
