Actually, a two party system that effectively prohibits competition is the threat to democracy. We should however accept the idea that today’s progressives in the Democrat party are an existential threat to our republic.
I ‘m sure some Republicans can be as much of a threat but they are the outliers and do not have the media promoting them or covering for them.
This clip from today is germane.
It is pointed out that as an active participant assisting in the prosecution of Trump in Manhattans, Dem. Dan Goldman has a conflict of interest in one the issue of Democratic “lawfare.” Whereupon another Democrat on the committee demands that those facts be stricken from the record.
I don’t understand why a sitting congressman is participating with a state DA on a state charge. This appears to me as witness tampering given that Goldman’s parties preferred presidential candidate would benefit from convicting its opposition. Further, given that Goldman has paid the judges daughter 150k for undefined services I would question whether or not such payments would constitute a bribe. If I understand the law any payment to an elected official or a relative within 6 degrees of separation is questionable
Francis Menton referred to Goldman as “that moron, Dan Goldman.” I suspect Francis dealt with him defending clients against the hack wannabe pols in the SDNY. He’s a Levi’s heir and former SDNY ADA. Now a congressman. Classic super well to do, Upper West Side, Jewish, lefty princeling. And amoral.

Are those people Rep. Issa is talking to DOJ attorneys?
I’ve read the lead prosecutor on Bragg’s team is a former DOJ and Biden White House guy who left his DOJ pension and decided to work for Bragg. Hmm.
His name is Colangelo. He was #3 at DOJ and was paid by the DNC as a consultant.
