Please watch all of that report, and then look at this, which I can’t embed, from Fox News. The Joe Concha segment also notes the bizarre recent episode of Tony Dokoupil of CBS being reprimanded for asking tough questions of anti-white racism huckster Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Then there is this: the uncovering of a CBS memo sent to its staff the day after the October 7 terrorist attack on Israeli civilians. The memo was headed, “Standards guidance: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”…
Yikes.
The “some” who believe that a sneak attack on civilians that includes rape and taking hostages as well murder is “justified retaliation” are called “terrorism apologists,” “history ignoramuses” or perhaps just “Democrats.”
Observations on all of this…
- CBS is an ethics villain. To manipulate an interview with a Presidential candidate in one of her only genuine interviews with allegedly legitimate journalists, as opposed to “The View” and “Howard Stern,” in order to airbrush away her most glaring flaw—that a she’s babbling moron more often than not—can’t be excused or rationalized.
- Moreover, the fact that CBS used her real answer to the question in a teaser for the show and then changed it after the usual “word salad” coming from Kamala was mocked on social media raises the rebuttable presumption that CBS made the switch after urging from the Harris campaign.
- There are calls for Congress to investigate the incident, and an investigation would be appropriate. Trump, over-the-top as usual, is saying that CBS should lose its broadcasting license. That’s not going to happen, but significant fines and other public rebukes have to be considered.
- Democrats had the gall to criticize Trump for refusing to be interviewed on “60 Minutes.” After the obviously biased moderation of the Vice-Presidential candidates debate by CBS hacks, and now this scandal, anyone who criticized Trump owes him an apology. If “60 Minutes” will dishonestly edit a Harris interview to make her look better than she is, why would Trump trust the network not to edit his interview to undermine him?
CBS has no ethical standards any more. The only question is how many of the other Axis news sources are equally corrupt, but smart enough so far not to be caught red-handed.

It could be worse than you think. CBS may have included her original answer in the teaser because they thought it was a good answer! They may be so far gone that they didn’t realize how nonsensical it was until the internet started mocking her.
I wonder how CBS might justify this with the repeal of the Smith-Mundt Act during the Obama administration. Could the administration pay CBS to do such a thing legally now? Could CBS claim that they are obligated to broadcast such propaganda if paid to by the government?
There is an article in the WSJ on the CBS news department.
I don’t know if you are aware of it (I wasn’t), but apparently there is a deal in place for Paramount (CBS’s owner) to be acquired by Skydance. The people in charge at the new company are very much not happy with how Tony Dokoupil was treated for daring to perform journalism with Ta-Nehisi Coates in discussing his new book.
The new owners won’t take over until next year, but it may be interesting to see what they do with CBS News.

p.s. I’m not finding the article on the WSJ site, I’m wondering if it was on Bari Weiss’s Free Press.
I’ve watched the media truncate quotes and cut video short many times these past few years and I, we’ve all seen a lot but this, this made my jaw drop. Shocking. I really, really hope something is done!
