The headline is a bit harsh, you think? It is, but to hell with it.
I find this behavior by Kamala Harris and her cabal incredible, though less so after watching Harris make gaffe after blunder after botch in recent days.
Has-been news anchor but still-kicking Kennedy Maria Shriver hosted a town hall event promoting Kamala Harris in Royal Oak, Michigan. When a woman in the audience rose to ask, “Are we going to be able to ask a question?,” Shriver replied, “You’re not, unfortunately! We have some predetermined questions. And hopefully I’ll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head, I hope so.”
What? At this point, any audience member with any self-respect and respect for the democratic process should have walked out, with some bold soul—I would have done it—announcing “That’s a disgrace. All of you are a disgrace, especially you, Vice-President Harris. Come on, everyone, let’s let these people ask each other scripted questions. We’re out of here.”
This was a Confederacy of Ethics Dunces, beginning with the audience of weenies who don’t have the guts or gumption to reject an obvious insult. Then we have…
….Shriver, who said she agreed to moderate the event as a “concerned citizen” but also as a journalist. If she were really a concerned citizen, she’d be concerned that the Democratic Presidential candidate has refused to explain her policy positions or even to specify how she would be different from President Biden. As a journalist, she had an obligation not to be complicit in yet another Harris incompetence cover-up operation. Shriver proved that she is neither a concerned citizen nor a journalist. She is just a partisan hack, and fully complicit in her party’s efforts to bypass democratic norms to stay in power.
I’m almost glad Arnold cheated on her.
…Liz Cheney, who was backing Harris at the phony town meeting (I’ve been to real town meetings in the real town, the largest in the U.S., of Arlington, Massachusetts. They let you ask your own questions in real town meetings. Presumably I don’t have to explain how unethical Cheney is.
…and, of course, Kamala Harris, coward, liar, phony.
Today I saw another Harris-Walz sign, this one particularly obnoxious as it read, “Harris Walz. Obviously.” Really? Obviously? How can anyone with self-respect leave that thing on their lawn after…
- ….”60 Minutes” had to fake an interview answer for Harris to save her from her own gibberish?
- …she stiffed Catholics by ducking out of the Al Smith dinner?
- …she insulted Christians at a rally by telling them they were in the wrong place?
- …and now this, still hiding from tough questions and refusing to respect voters’ right to know what the hell they are voting for?
I don’t understand these people. The very least we should demand of our elected officials is that they respect us.
Ethics Alarms 
These people are a lot of the same people who were rioting and even causing parts of cities to secede in 2020. For the moment they’re just using silencing tactics, but if things don’t go their way in 2 weeks I think you’re going to see a lot of the same behavior you saw in 2020. A lot of them are totalitarians, a lot of the rest are anarchists who have gone so far left that they’ve come full circle. I know you think it’s funny that the current administration will have to deal with this, but I don’t think it’s so funny that the rest of this country will have to suffer due to their ineptitude.
If Harris wins and her presidency results in a disaster of monumental proportions or even if global problems escalate into widespread wars in which causes us to become involved her presidency will serve as an example, albeit an incorrect one, that women presidents are not up to the task. Harris could be an historical figure but she is no Jackie Robinson.
I wonder if suburban white women have contemplated that issue.
They have always been at least closet totalitarians. The Democratic Party has been the party of elitist since at least the 1980’s (I can’t remember political trends much before then). That is why all the teachers desperately had to be Democrats. They couldn’t be one of ‘THOSE PEOPLE’. You see this today with the ‘basket of deplorables’, the ‘clinging to God and guns’, etc. You saw it clearly during COVID when they wanted anyone who didn’t fall in line to (1) lose their job, (2) be banned from society, (3) have their children taken away, and (4) be inprisoned in reeducation camps.
These are the people who bough a SMART car because they were told it was what smart people bought.
I don’t know if the Clintons were the cause or simply a symptom, but I date all the awfulness of the current Democratic party to their initial regime, and its failed attempt at a restoration, which Trump had the absolute gall to torpedo.
Oh, it predates that. In the 1980’s the teachers in my deeply conservative area openly stated that anyone who didn’t support abortion shouldn’t be allowed to vote, that anyone who voted Republican shouldn’t be allowed to go to college, etc.
Democrats have been like this for a long time.
When and which politician respected the electorate. I find it difficult to answer those questions. JFK-“hid his proclvities to obtain the Catholic vote; LBJ-continued our involvemnt in Vietnam for the profit of his companies while I and buddies got shot at. RMN allegedly corrupted the office of the Preisdency (however, in comparison. GF fell into theoffice forshadwoing today’s issues; JC- smiled to cover his incompetency, economic dissaster and cowardice in the face of the enemy. BC- stained the presidency, literally but his misogyny; Bush 1 was lackluster; Bush 2 inherited the position; Obama- divided the nation along color lines; DT-was at least competent as an executive in the face of multimodal resistance; JB continues to obfuscate and divide.
The only other in my lifetime of voting was RR, who was the most comoetent and accomplished the fall of the wall without bloodshed.

Oh, predictably, it looks like a LOT more Harris plagiarism is coming out. I’m sure the coverage is going to be ‘Republicans POUNCE!” on evidence that Harris plagiarized Congressional testimony on numerous occasions. Why does that matter anyway? Thinks can be fake AND accurate, just ask CBS!
