Incompetent Elected Official Of The Month: Jasmine Crockett (D-Tx)

There have been three Crocketts elected to Congress in U.S. history (one of theme was Davy), and to say that the current Crockett, Jasmine, is the worst pf the trio and a blight on both the House of Representatives and the House of Crockett is an understatement.

In fairness to Matt Gaetz, I need to catch Ethics Alarms up on one of the most revolting members of Congress on the other side of the aisle, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Tx), a proud Dunning-Kruger victim, one of those people with a law degree who is under the delusion that critical thinking skills come with a J.D. I don’t know how she got admitted to law school and I don’t know how she graduated, but few members of Congress have said so many offensive and stupid things in so short a period time: she only was elected in 2022.

Civility? She doesn’t do civility: in her only appearance to date on Ethics Alarms, she referred to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (another winner) as having a “bleach blond, bad-built butch body.” Nice. Earlier, she became the first member of Congress to use the term “shitter” on the floor. She likes all variations of the word “shit”—she refers to her colleagues as “old as shit” in a current Vanity Fair profile. She’s also fond of racial and ethnic stereotypes:

“That is my distilled summary of what happens within the Latino community I’ve not run into that with the Asian community. I’ve not run into that with the African community. I’ve not run into that with the Caribbean community. I’ve only run into it with Hispanics. When they think of ‘illegals,’ they think of, you know, maybe people that came out of the cartels and that kind of, like, the criminal-type book or whatever. It’s insane. It almost reminds me of what people would talk about when they would talk about kind of like ‘slave mentality’ and the hate that some slaves would have for themselves. It’s almost like a slave mentality that they have. It is wild to me when I hear how anti-immigrant they are as immigrants, many of them. I’m talking about people that literally just got here and can barely vote that are having this kind of attitude.

Well said. Of course, no one in the progressive news media would dare criticize a blabber-mouth black narcissist for describing Hispanics as barely able to vote, and they certainly wouldn’t criticize one for apparently not understanding why legal immigrants—not all Hispanics sneaked over the border, dear!—-might object to those who do regardless of their ethnicity.

Group identification is everything to Crockett, still a great supporter of Black Lives Matter even though the Marxist, anti-white movement has thoroughly exposed itself as a scam. Reality is no concern to her. “We do have a problem of gangs overrunning towns and cities. I absolutely agree with that. But guess what? It’s the MAGA gang and the white supremacists,” she said in October.

Crockett’s Vanity Fair interview shows her keen analytical abilities: she attributes black men not voting for Kamala Harris to “misogyny.” “I don’t trust white women,” she tells the magazine, because they didn’t automatically vote for Hillary Clinton.

She also is one of those who claims that Kamala Harris ran a flawless campaign, which is signature significance for a liar or an idiot. This is like saying that the New York Yankees played a good World Series. It’s like saying that Justice Jackson was brilliant in her Broadway debut. It’s like saying that Joe Biden…wait, she did say that there was nothing wrong with Joe Biden! “Why are y’all tearing President Biden down?…And y’all were like, ‘Get rid of Biden because he had a bad debate!’,” Crockett blathered. If you’ll recall, the “Biden just had a bad night” talking point was rife among Democrats until nobody could say it without giggling.

Because a lot of voters mistake “attitude” for ability, I wouldn’t be surprised if Crockett lasts quite a while in Congress.

  1. Yep, she sounds like a real peach. But, when you get ignorant voters, you get ignorant elected officials. (Incidentally, though your headline has her party correct, the second paragraph of the entry itself identifies her with an R instead of a D).

    • Two answers:

      1. OK, I have to come clean. I am really a chatbot AI experiment launched by the Josephson Institute for Ethics. That was one of my “hallucinations.”

      2. But seriously, folks, I hope I live long enough to see the day when someone who looks, talks and acts like Jasmine can be elected by a GOP district. What would that mean, I wonder?

      Fixed. Thanks.

        1. I find that hard to believe. An occasional typo is more tolerable than the gibberish put out by AI.
        2. It would mean “Abandon hope all ye who enter here”.
        • When I do Google searches, the first result that comes up is always Google’s AI giving me the answer it thinks appropriate.

As a firm policy I always, always skip over that paragraph and start with the actual search results. I won’t say some words have registered now and then, but I refuse to read that response and be poisoned by whatever lying gibberish it’s spouting today.

What’s between my ears is certainly capable of sifting through whatever is actually on the internet.

  2. it is not the ignorant, incompetent candidates that win elections. it is the ignorant, incompetent constituienst that cast their votes for the ignorant, incompetent candidates.

I once lived in Corona, NY which makes up part of the constituiency that voted froe AOL. The time I lived there it was made up of hardworking, blue collar Italian-American (legal) immigrants.

These people were family oriented and faith filled, men sat on theeir stoops reading the newspapers, gathered in social clubs discussing the community, protecting the parks and the children who played there.

I cannot imagine one vote for AOC coming from that community.
