Is It Possible To Have Deader Ethics Alarms Regarding Abortion Than Ohio State Rep. Anita Somani?

I don’t see how.

State Rep. Anita Somani, (D-Dublin)—that’s her on the left above— has authored a bill, so-sponsored by state Rep. Tristan Rader, (D-Lakewood), nicknamed the “Conception Begins at Erection Act.” It would make it a crime for men to ejaculate without intending to have a baby, with special exemptions for anal and oral sex, gay sex generally, masturbation and donating sperm. “You don’t get pregnant on your own,” the smug OBGYN told reporters. “If you’re going to penalize someone for an unwanted pregnancy, why not penalize the person who is also responsible for the pregnancy?” she said.

Brilliant. Don’t they teach analogies and critical thinking in med school? Apparently there are complete idiots practicing medicine. (We already know there are complete idiots elected to state and national legislatures.)

This woman really thinks her stunt—it’s a fake bill, which is an abuse of the legislative process—is some kind of “gotcha!” Even this fool has to know the bill is unconstitutional as well as unenforceable, but she does not seem to recognize how offensive it is. But, see, she’s making a point! Somani thinks she’s being clever when she is really proving that the entire pro-abortion position relies on deliberately ignoring what abortion is. The bill and her comments also reveal that she is blindingly dumb and apparently proud of it, as well as having the ethical literacy of a sea sponge.

Do I have to spell out the problem with her “logic”? I guess I do, since there are Ohioans who are applauding and saying, “Oooh, good one! That sure puts those ‘Handmaiden’s Tale’ types who want to enslave women in their place!”.

The objective of anti-abortion legislation is not to “penalize” women who have unwanted pregnancies. The idea is protect unborn children who are 1) human, b) alive and c) have a human right to begin life’s journey in the big, wonderful world even if their parents consider their existence inconvenient or the product of an accident. The Ohio legislator’s bill and rhetoric are the epitome of the abortion advocates’ fiction: only one life is involved in an abortion, that of the mother. Baby? What baby? Making abortion illegal is just like making recreational sex illegal. Sure! What’s the difference? Hmmm, what could it be?

Ejaculating without intending to have a baby doesn’t kill anyone. This isn’t a difficult concept, but since the pro-abortion fanatics don’t have cogent rebuttal for it, their approach is to ignore it entirely.

Imagine: all across America laws are made by people who think like Anita Somani, people who are under the delusion that they are wise, intelligent and ethical while the people who see that a second life is involved in every abortion should be mocked.

  1. Seems to me that pro life people could get behind this because it codifies when life begins. Because when no pregnancy arises all the man has to say is I intended to make a baby. Let the prosecution prove differently. Any abortion that takes place at the woman’s request would then be a homicide.

But you are right she is a moron.

  2. the corollary law: itis criminal for a woman to allow a penis yo enter her vagina unless she intends to be pregnant. Or just criminalize recreational sex.

  3. Why is it that Democrats attract so many outspoken morons to fill their ranks?

It seems to me that it’s becoming clearer to me as each day passes by that for a person to be a true outspoken Democrat they must first be a moron and I think TDS has done what you’d think would be impossible, it lowered that intelligence level required to be a Democrat.

  4. Instead of encouraging women to use discernment & not sleep with men they know they don’t want a baby with, let’s criminalize the very sex we’ve encouraged since the sexual revolution.

Well at least sex robots are on the rise. Now the left can move onto getting civil rights for robot sex,
