I had several other posts on the runway (including a Kennedy Center Symphony crowd booing J.D. Vance: stay classy, you patrons of the arts!, but with the developing theme today of The Great Stupid, I couldn’t resist this one. We began with a moronic “influencer,” proceeded to a state-appointed adviser who thinks she’s a reptile, and now an apparently respected black journalist named Karen Hunter.
For some ridiculous reason (that’s the second time I’ve used that intro: it’s a quote from “The Pirates of Penzance”), I was sent an email by SiriusXM about “host SiriusXM host Karen Hunter’s podcast today.” It featured loudmouthed, race-obsessed sports commentator Stephen A. Smith, who because he always drags politics into everything, is now being treated like an expert on politics.
What follows is the exchange during the podcast that was sent to entice me into becoming a follower, springing from Hunter’s questions about “buzz” around Smith being a possible Presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2028. To his credit, he said that the idea was absurd, but I’m more concerned with what this radio host said:
KAREN HUNTER: “Where we are as a nation right now is not funny, you know?”
STEPHEN A. SMITH: “Right. right.”
HUNTER: “And I feel like we’re at the precipice of a severe, we probably are broken already and don’t know it. And I don’t know if it could be put back together, but this is why, you know, I’m different ’cause I can’t play a game when so many lives are impacted. I’m fine. I’m gonna be fine. You know, I’m always gonna be fine. It’s the way I’m wired and fortunately I come from fine. So, you know, we, but I look around and it pains me to see the amount of pain that folk, because of misinformation and disinformation, they didn’t even advocate for themselves. And this wasn’t about Democrats and Republicans at this point. You got a lot to say about Democrats, but you, we we’re the people. We’re the party. So if the Democrats are failing, that’s you failing. If the Republicans aren’t representing, if they’re representing Nazis and racists, that’s your fault. If you call yourself a Republican and that doesn’t line up, would you do something about it?”
SMITH: “Right.”
HUNTER: “So I’m like super frustrated that we don’t even have the political maturity to have a conversation about resources, because that’s what politicians are. They deliver resources for the people at the local, state, and federal level. Are we sending people that are delivering resources? Are we doing a popularity contest? And once your name starts getting circulated, here we go again. Yeah, you say win. I’m like, why? Why are you even in the conversation?”
Yikes.
I think I can assert, with some confidence, that if you hit me over the head nine times with a meat tenderizing mallet I still would make more sense than Karen Hunter. What the hell was she saying? How does someone that inarticulate get a slot on SiriusXM? Why would anyone who could beat a chicken in a game of Scrabble waste two minutes listening to someone that scattered and incoherent, and I’m not even getting to the fatuous content of her rants.
Who is this woman of whom I has been blissfully unaware until that email? Well, Wikipedia says she’s “an American journalist, talk show host, publisher, and the co-author of several non-fiction books.” She’s a graduate of Drew University, which needs to have its accreditation reviewed if this is an example of its graduates’ erudition. She has been a local news talk show host; she has co-authored “five New York Times bestsellers” including books with Queen Latifah, Al Sharpton, Mason Betha, Karrine Steffans, LL Cool J, Wendy Williams, J. L. King, Donda West, Sandy Denton, Cedric the Entertainer, and Jonathan Plummer. In 2011, Hunter called for a boycott of “The Celebrity Apprentice” because Donald Trump made comments about Barack Obama that she found offensive. In 2012, Hunter wnet on MSNBC to say of then-Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney that he was “running for the presidency of ‘Caucasia-stan’ or some place that doesn’t have anyone of color in it.” And she babbles like like that excerpts above indicates.
Karen Hunter, is a journalist, and someone who presumes to broadcast her opinions and views to the waiting ears of innocent, naive, gullible Americans who are apparently unable to discern that this woman is a moron. And she get paid for it. Of course, having alleged authorities who are this intellectually disabled is why the nation ends up with people like Al Green. AOC, Tashida Tlaib and Jasmine Crocket in positions of power. Meanwhile Hunter is clearly under the misapprehension that her opinions are sanctified by actual expertise and perception.
How did this happen? Now what?

It seems to me that more and more of the political left loudmouth talking heads talk in meaningless word salads, it’s a progressive word salad extravaganza. Is it a sign of lack of intelligence or intellectual brain farts?
Where does it say that government is there to deliver resources? I cannot find that in any of our founding documents. Is that one of those FDR amendments ?
I’m not even sure what she thinks “resources” means.
It is in Art. XXI, § XII, of the US Constitution, and is more commonly known as the “Government Resources Delivery” Powers. It stated, in relevant part,
“The Government, absent advice and consent of the US Congress and notwithstanding judicial decrees issued by courts of competent jurisdiction, shall distribute all necessary and proper resources to the citizenry, whether they approve of such distribution or not.”

Ed. Note: Rest assured, Ethics Alarmists, this poster has been dealt with with extreme prejudice.
it’s a prelude to Michelle obamas podcast with her brother, what’s his name,
Politicians deliver resources? How many calves did AOC deliver this year? How many acres of corn did Kamala Harris plant? How many gas wells did Hakeem Jeffries drill?
Politicians deliver resources like pirates deliver cargo.
Key word “and”.
If we had media which delivered truth, we would have a public which would be less ignorant but just as stupid.
