Gee, great: a mere 72% of American voters as polled by Rasmussen Reports believe that “vandalism against Tesla” isn’t “an appropriate form of protest” against Elon Musk and DOGE.
In what world is that an encouraging result? Here are the results when asked “Tesla automobiles and Tesla dealerships have been vandalized by anti-Trump protesters. Is vandalism against Tesla an appropriate form of protest?”…
“No” Democrats, 61%; Independents, 79%; Republicans, 78%; All voters, 72%
That is disgusting, depressing, and nauseating. Where does that ethics rot come from? You disagree with the political views of someone, so your response is to vandalize someone else’s automobile? Under even the most warped ethical reasoning, that’s moronic and indefensible. If it is true that further left one leans on the political spectrum the more likely one is to answer “yes” to that question reveals an entire ideology in an ethical crisis.

I trace it back to the “Speaking truth to power” mantra that’s come into the lexicon over the last ten or fifteen years. Just as words have become violence, for too many people violence has become words. People think demonstrating is political speech (probably correctly so) and promptly go on to consider vandalism and destruction of life and property as political speech. It must be a Saul Alinsky thing.
You may want to take at this link, pointer “Insurrection Barbie”. Here is some independent journalist and hacker saying that the whole point of the protest is to tank Tesla stock. By the way, Elon Musk only owns 12% of Tesla stock.

Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself against 3 attackers during active rioting and vandalism. Other wise known as Self Defense.
Rittenhouse is a huge smoking gun (heh) example of media bias and deceptive narrative construction.
How many people are aware the used car dealership he and others protected was a family business owned by a non-white immigrant family?
How many believe he “Got away with gunning down ‘mostly peaceful’ black protesters?”

I am curious about whether these were actual Trump voters or simply registered Republicans.
That does seem odd. Maybe a certain percent assume most Tesla owners lean democrat, are so are good with them being victims of their own sort. Still not right.
What’s been going on with the Democrats over the last 8+ years is completely absurd, it’s almost as if they actually want to destroy the USA or themselves or both.

Side Note: Has anyone noticed that wide spread fire and vandalism was included as a seemingly “acceptable” means of protest during the Trump Administration I (2017-2021), then during Biden Administration (2021-2025) wide spread fire and vandalism was strangely absent from protests, and now we have Trump Administration II (2025-2029) and I’m shocked, shocked I say, that wide spread fire and vandalism is once again returning as a seemingly “acceptable” means of protest.
What is history going to write about this absurd 12 year period of time?
