The woman doesn’t have a metaphorical leg to stand on, except the disgusting (but still reflex), “There goes that racist Trump again, trying to bring down a black woman.”
“I strongly recommend that you suspend Ms. Cook from the Federal Reserve Board immediately,” states senior DOJ Ed Martin’s letter to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. Of course. If he doesn’t suspend her, that’s grounds to fire Powell. “No one believes it’s appropriate for her to remain in her role while serious questions linger,” wrote Martin. That’s not quite right: Democrats and the Trump Deranged believe that everyone should just refuse to acknowledge that Donald Trump is President of the United States.
Lisa Cook has engaged in flagrant mortgage fraud, or, in the alternative, she somehow got confused by financial documents that Americans who don’t claim to be credentialed economists are supposed to fill out properly. Either way, that is just cause for dismissal. She is supposed to be one of our financial overseers, after all.
This is ridiculous; even the Washington Post has admitted that Cook has claimed multiple “primary residences.” Cook, a governor with the Federal Reserve Bank, has a bank loan on a “secondary” home in Massachusetts that she rents out full-time. Cook also owns a condo in Atlanta that she claims is her primary residence on banking and government documents, and she rents that one out too. Cook also has a third “home” in Ann Arbor that she lists as her primary residence on banking and government papers. She’s really something….
Here is the account of a reporter who knocked on the door of that one:
“’I’m a reporter,” I told the figure, who did not undo the chain. “I was wondering if Lisa Cook lives here. Or do you rent?” “No, we’re just renters here…You’ll have to talk to the owner.” “Ok,” I said. “Is it you just living here?” “Yeah,” he said. “Just renting?” I asked again. “No comment.” “I’m sorry?” “You’ll have to talk to the owner of the house.” And with that, the interview was over. The chain rattled. The door closed, and someone pulled the curtains tight.”
Cook is a flim-flam artist, assuming that her status (plus her skin color and lady parts) will prevent her from the natural consequences of her profitable illegal conduct. The news media is helping out by framing the issue like New York Post does today, and it’s a conservative newspaper: “The Department of Justice has reportedly opened an investigation into Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook over alleged mortgage fraud, just one day after President Trump urged the Biden appointee to resign. It is the latest move by the Trump administration to step up pressure on the Federal Reserve, which has faced criticism from officials for being slow to cut rates…”
The President would be obligated to sack a fraudulent, arrogant governor like Cook if he were thrilled with the Federal Reserve. He “targeted her,” CNN says. Yeah, the Texas Rangers “targeted” Bonnie and Clyde too, but that didn’t mean that they didn’t deserve what they got in every way.

Hard to tell which is worse, mortgage fraud, or this.
I was unaware of all that, but it was only relevant before this partisan, woke maniac was nominated and confirmed. Now it just reminds us of how thoroughly bats the Biden administration was along with the Democrats who supported it. Of course someone with that record is a partisan social justice fanatic and untrustworthy in a policy position.
