Good Night, Ethics…

She pleaded guilty in September 2025 to 18 of 27 counts, including wire fraud, mail fraud and failing to file tax returns related to a scheme in which Cannon-Grant and husband stole thousands of dollars in donations to their “social justice” nonprofit.

Yes, this is “restorative justice” at work. Prosecutors had recommended at least 18 months in prison, the monsters.

3. Of course the Melania Trump movie has been seen by reviewers now and is getting flamed. Even more than usual, it is impossible to know whether the movie is genuinely lousy or if this is just more Trump hate. I’m not going to find out, because the sock drawer doesn’t exist that is neat enough not to be more compelling for me than a documentary about any First Lady other than Abigail Adams, Dolly Madison, Eleanor Roosevelt, and maybe Lady Bird Johnson and Nancy Reagan, if the socks are immaculate. Here’s a typical review from the usual suspects: “The Melania Trump Documentary Is a Disgrace.” The author certainly makes her biases clear: it begins, “Recently, I watched a new documentary about an enigmatic woman of notable charm and courage preparing for one of the most momentous events in her life. That woman is E. Jean Carroll, and the movie is Ask E. Jean, a feature about Carroll’s life and her decision to sue President Trump in civil court for defamation and sexual battery….”

4. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon was scheduled to visit McKinley Elementary School in Fairfield, Connecticut, where the students would have an opportunity to speak with and question the Cabinet member. The stop was part of McMahon’s “History Rocks” tour in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. But a campaign by (woke, asshole) parents to disinvite McMahon scared off the weenie Fairfield Superintendent of Schools, Michael Testani, who rescinded the invitation due to parental “concerns” and threats to keep children home so they wouldn’t have a brush with evil. EEEvil!

A disgusted Prof. Turley writes, “These parents and officials have taught these students a terrible lesson: they should not be exposed to opposing views or speakers. They are raising a generation of speech-phobics that reflects their own intolerance and bias.”

Yup.
