Islam is, in its most extreme form, a violent, uncivilized religion that encourages the killing of “non-believers.” The current regime in Iran follows that extreme form. Just today, we have learned that five of the seven members of the Iranian women’s national soccer team who originally sought asylum in Australia after a tournament have decided to reverse that decision because their families have been threatened and prevented from leaving Iran. The families are being held hostage to force their daughters to return to Iran, where they will face punishment and possibly death for refusing to sing the Iranian national anthem during their opening match, in an apparent protest against Iran’s government.
“Savages” is a perfectly appropriate description of such a government. It has rejected the values of modern civilization. Truth is not racist.
What does one call an organization that defends savages and opposes those who try to minimize the savage attempts to harm others? I still have friends who get all their news from MSNOW. They aren’t savages, but what are they?

I wonder if she will have any comment on the fate of the Iranian Soccer players that didn’t sing the Iranian national anthem in protest? I’ll bet those women will meet a savage fate. I hate to put it so bluntly but that is the reality. I think 2 players are staying in Australia but 5 are returning due to coercion from threats to there family members.

Jack has a valuable way of clarifying issues that are made to seem ambiguous but, when clarified, are not.
It is the product (fruit) of rigorous rationality. This is both a compliment and a statement about how rationality works. (Depends on sound first principles).
