Still More Evidence of the Biden Dementia Cover-up

Jon Stewart’s podcast “The Weekly Show” podcast featured former Obama speechwriter and current “Pod Save America” co-host Jon Lovett, who used the show to admit what should cause the Democratic Party and its supporters to apologize, throw themselves on the mercy of voters and engage in a sweeping ethics reform since, you know, the party betrayed America. (It won’t, though, so it’s futile even to hope for that appropriate response.)

During a discussion of Biden’s fitness for office, Lovett spat out too many inarticulate “Unethical Quotes of the Week” to clean up, collect and enumerate, but the meaning was damning anyway. He recalled how Biden appeared in April 2024: “He was rambling, and he was hard to follow, and he repeated a story.”

“And, you know, I— I think people inside maybe weren’t being honest with themselves about what they were seeing,” he said. This is the “group think” excuse that the party’s consultants apparently worked out in a bunker somewhere and circulated around the Axis. I’m guessing it beat out the “Dr. Jill hypnotized everyone with her laser eyes” narrative. Lovett continued, “But I know if, like, from my own point of view, part of what was a challenge was because Joe Biden seemed so hellbent on staying in, right? I never wanted to be dishonest about what I felt we were seeing.”

He didn’t want to be dishonest; he just was, poor guy. The Democrats simply cannot be allowed to escape accountability for this.

At the now infamous George Clooney fundraiser, Lovett says, it was clear to all that Biden had no business being President. “I remember feeling, ‘I wanna talk about this as a huge liability, I wanna talk about this as something Joe Biden can overcome.’ But I’m not gonna go so far as to say, ‘I think Joe Biden must drop out—He is too old to be president.’” Lovett explained. “If Joe Biden is the candidate, I want him to fucking win because I care about the country.”

He cares so much about the country that he’s willing to re-elect a disabled President who can’t do the job. That’s not “caring about the country.” That’s caring about keeping power in defiance of the Constitution and democracy.

I suppose I’m obsessing about this lately, but everybody should be obsessing about it. Democrats did this for four years, the news media let them do it, and there have to be consequences.

The Sequel to “Is It Ethical to Continue to Slam Former President Biden Now That It Has Been Revealed That He Has Metastatic Prostate Cancer?”— Unethical Quote of the Week: David Axelrod

“I think those kinds of discussions are going to happen, but they should be more muted and set aside for now as he’s sort of struggling through this.”

—Former Obama campaign manager David Axelrod on CNN, speaking of the reporting on the cover-up of Joe Biden’s dementia for four years by Democrats and the news media

You have to say this for horrible human beings like Axelrod: at least they don’t do a very good job at hiding their cynicism, corruption, and shameless efforts to keep Americans from knowing just how little regard for democracy they have.

Many believe that the news of Biden’s rapidly advancing prostate cancer was released specifically to distract the public from the dawning realization that he was a puppet President and that persons unknown were operating the levers of power Americans thought they had elected Biden President to handle. There is substantial justification for such suspicion, as well as the belief that Democrats also withheld Biden’s cancer diagnosis in the hope that they could get him a second term so Kamala Harris would become President without having to be elected.

So Axelrod comes right out and says, “Please be distracted by the ‘Awww, poor Joe!’ strategy, and stop trying to find out who was really making decisions and policy in the White House!” Thanks, David! It’s good to remove any doubt about just how stupid your party thinks we are.

“Jake Tapper, Ethics Villain” Continues—Today’s Episode: “Jake Is Unethical, But He’s Not Stupid”

In a just released video, conservative scholar and commentator Victor Davis Hanson adds his perspective to the Jake Tapper scandal, a sub-scandal to the Biden Dementia cover-up conspiracy of which he was a part, itself a sub-scandal of the Democratic Party’s descent into aspiring totalitarianism. From the transcript…

See How They Spin! One Axis Hack Interviews Another To Try To Rationalize Away The Media’s Complicity in the Biden Dementia Cover-up

Axis hack #1…

Ezra Klein!

Axis hack #2…

Ethics Villain, CNN’s Jake Tapper!

Almost exactly a year ago, I excoriated the New York Times and Public Enemy Ezra Klein, the infamous “advocacy journalist” responsible for founding uber-Axis propaganda organ Vox, for a wildly unethical Klein disinformation piece titled, “Seven Theories for Why Biden Is Losing (and What He Should Do About It).” Guess what Klein didn’t see as a reason Biden was behind in the polls. Somehow, the fact that the alleged President was obviously suffering from dementia escaped his notice. (Suuuure it did…). The closest Klein got to that flaming, throbbing, flashing red alarm was “Voters think Biden is too old.” Just voters, mind you! I wrote, “[Biden’s] obviously declining mentally, and any fool can see he’s too old to hold any job, much less the most difficult one in the country.” But Ezra Klein, who was not declining mentally (and couldn’t possibly decline ethically, except into negative numbers), actually argued that Biden should do more debates with Trump, not just two, and that “all Biden needs to do is persuade enough voters that he is more capable than the erratic criminal defendant across the stage, who turns 78 next month.” What Klein meant was that all the complicit partisan media hacks—like Klein—had to do was to hide Biden’s incapacity from voters until election day. And that’s what they tried to do, except that Biden couldn’t even get through one debate without making it plain that his brain was mush.

Ethics Hero: Megyn Kelly

In the clip from her podcast above, Megyn Kelly, who has not always been the exemplar of ethical journalism, deftly eviscerated Ethics Villain Jack Tapper for his role in covering up Joe Biden’s galloping dementia and then turning around after the election (and the failure of his fellow propagandists to defeat Donald Trump) to profit from a book exposing the scandal that he was part of.

Kelly’s coup-de-gras comes when Tapper, cornered, whines, “There is a difference between the clips of Joe Biden falling on a stage… forgetting a Republican congressman had died… Those are embarrassing… but there is a difference between that and the investigative journalism that Alex and I were able to do—and only able to do after the election.”

Kelly goes for the jugular, and get it. “I don’t diminish the importance of the book,” she says. “But there is no way we can have that conversation with an audience that is as skeptical of your ability to tell the story as mine is without addressing your role in this, right?…you’ve watched the coverage since it came out that you wrote this book…. there’s a legion of articles comparing you in some instances to like, O.J. Instead of ‘If I Did It,’ this is ‘If I Hid It.’”

Perfect.

As a side note, should I give Tapper a teeny bit of credit for agreeing to do Megyn’s podcast? Surely he knew what was coming…or did he? I think he is mired in such a bubble and has been so corrupted by his stay at CNN that he really has convinced himself that working for the Axis of Unethical Conduct makes him one of the good guys. Either that, or he’s a moron.

Whatever the case, he’s lucky I wasn’t the interviewer. My questions to Jake would have made Megyn seem like Mr. Rogers….

CNN Gathers Enemies of the People to Sit Around and Lie Among Themselves To Fool Its Audience..What IS That?

I mean, other than “disgusting?”

From “Real Clear Politics”: Ethics Villain Jake Tapper hosts Lying Racist Van Jones and Obama Propagandist David Axelrod on CNN in a discussion of the “shocking” revelations regarding how Joe Biden was a walking vegetable while he was supposedly the “sharp as a tack” President of the United States….

TAPPER: Van, I remember how emotional you were in the immediate moments after the June 27, 2024, debate because of what you saw on the stage. And with all this new reporting coming out — and I should disclose that I gave both of you copies of the book so you would have a little bit more information. Do you feel like you were duped, Van? Like, how do you feel?

JONES: First, this book is extraordinary. I don’t care who you are, left, right, or otherwise. Anybody who cares about this country and about just the dynamics of power, this is “the emperor’s new clothes” playing itself out in real time. Everybody knew, but everyone was afraid to say — except for David Axelrod, for two years — that something was wrong here. I was shocked. I love Joe Biden. I don’t like him. I love him. I got a chance to work with him when I was a part of the Obama administration and loved him more every day. I was shocked to see his condition when he came out. And so was the world. And that wasn’t the first time he was in that condition. The book makes it very, very clear. There are people who knew and said nothing. And that is a crime against this republic. And I think the Democrats are going to pay for a long time for being a part of what is now being revealed to be a massive cover-up.

Here, let me fix that for you, asshole: “….for being a part of what is now being revealed to be a massive cover-up” in which all of us were complicit. I’m sure that’s what you meant to say, you shameless totalitarian hack.

Conservative pundit Stephen Green adds, “Biden’s decline was obvious in 2020 — for those with eyes — and yet Democrat insiders still thought that Biden was better than any of the alternatives in 2020.” And I’ll add to that: last February I wrote, regarding President Trump’s attendance at the (yecchh) Super Bowl,

On the Biden-Hur Interview Tapes

On May 16th, while I was cut off from the internet, this blog, and just about all of the outside world because Verizon is incompetent and lies to its customers (I was given three definite times when my service issues would be resolved, and all of them proved to be false), Axios finally released some of the audiotapes (after someone leaked them) from the interview between then-President Joe Biden and Special Counsel Robert Hur.

The Justice Department and the White House had refused to do so before the 2024 election (because, see, the Democrats were trying to protect democracy from Donald Trump by ensuring that voters were uninformed…yes, I know it doesn’t make any sense, but that’s what they’ve got) and the Axis media was remarkably uninterested in hearing them, following its favorite party’s lie that the transcripts were good enough.

I knew that the tapes would prove damning: didn’t you? One of the results of this debacle should be that nobody ever accepts transcripts again when there is a recording available. As an earlier example, the transcript of the infamous debate with Trump where Biden descended into gibberish made it seem like he just made a momentary “speako.” And Biden’s White House habitually altered official transcripts to show what the confused sort-of President “meant to say.”

How Can These People (Democrats, Journalists) Look Themselves in the Mirror Without Retching?

You shouldn’t need that montage to know these people can’t be trusted. I know I don’t.

Jake Tapper will never darken my TV screen again, and the fact that CNN will keep presenting this epic hypocrite as a legitimate broadcast journalist achieves a dead heat in the “Most Disgraceful Excuse for a News Network” competition with MSNBC. Joe Concha writes in The Washington Examiner,

An unearthed five-year-old interview is rightly making the rounds this week. It stars CNN’s Jake Tapper and Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump. In the 2020 interview, weeks before Election Day, Lara Trump made the case that former President Joe Biden appeared to show signs of cognitive decline. She wasn’t wrong — even one year earlier, Democrats were saying the same thing. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) said in September 2019: “There’s a lot of people who are concerned about Joe Biden’s ability to carry the ball all the way across the end line without fumbling. There are definitely moments when you listen to Joe Biden and you just wonder.”…

But when Lara Trump broached Biden’s decline in that interview with Tapper, the CNN “anchor” went into full defense mode on behalf of his preferred candidate in the race by citing Biden’s stutter as the reason he was having memory trouble and communication troubles in general. “How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that?” Tapper asked her…..“I would think that somebody in the family would be more sensitive to people who do not have medical licenses diagnosing politicians from afar…

“I’m saying Joe Biden is struggling at times onstage, and it’s concerning to a lot of people that this could be the leader of the free world,” she retorted. “That is all I’m saying. I genuinely feel sorry for Joe Biden.”

“I’m sure [your comments] were from a place of concern. We all believe that,” Tapper snarked in return.

President Trump Sacks Waltz: Good

From the New York Times: “President Trump is ousting his national security adviser, Michael Waltz, and another senior member of the White House’s foreign policy team, the first significant personnel overhaul of top aides in his second term, according to people familiar with the situation. Mr. Waltz had been on thin ice since he organized a group chat on the commercial messaging app Signal to discuss a sensitive military operation in Yemen and accidentally included a journalist in the conversation.”

Readers will recall that Ethics Alarms issued several posts about the Signal chat debacle, the first of which , on March 24, ended thusly: “This will be an early test of how serious the new administration is about accountability. Someone’s head should roll for this.”

Someone’s head has. It was one of the right heads, too.

Trump’s action is absolutely the ethical and competent course, and should remind everyone, including the lackeys of the news media, that the previous administration didn’t care about accountability, nor competence, performance or merit—just “historic” DEI appointments who could never be fired. President Biden didn’t fire anyone, despite presiding over one of the most inept administrations in U.S. history.

Of course, Presidents are supposed to be demanding and to fire screw-ups, so Trump deserves no special credit for a decision that should have been as easy as it was necessary. Nevertheless, it’s gratifying to know the man in the White House is engaged and has standards he’s devoted to enforcing.

As for me, I’m just glad to get rid of Waltz because that “t” in his name kept making me misspell the last name of Governor Knucklehead in Minnesota.

Least Shocking Scandal of 2025…

Jonathan Turley reports,

“[A] long-withheld report from the Biden Administration directly contradicted the claims of climate change used to limit increased U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. The suggestion is that this was an knowing effort to cap carbon admissions rather than carbon emissions. The impact that new U.S. LNG exports have on the environment and the economy was reviewed by U.S. Energy Department scientists and completed by September 2023. It appears that neither President Biden nor Secretary Jennifer Granholm liked the science or the conclusions. Rather than “follow the science,” they buried the report while allegedly making claims directly refuted by their own experts…The draft study, “Energy, Economic, and Environmental Assessment of U.S. LNG Exports,” found that, under all modeled scenarios, an increase in U.S. LNG exports and natural gas production would not change global or U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. It further found that it would not increase energy prices for consumers. Biden and Granholm reportedly buried the report and then announced a pause on all new U.S. LNG export terminals in January 2024, citing the danger to environmental and economic impacts.”

Gee what a surprise.

But seriously folks, anyone who is even faintly surprised at this development hasn’t been watching, listening or paying attention to either the “science of cliamte change” or the debate over energy policy. What is far from “settled science” is deliberately presented as a consensus. Policies that harm the U.S. economy and consumers have been regularly inflicted on the nation as pure virtue-signaling to the Left, with full knowledge that they can’t possibly have any effect on the world’s climate, present or future. And revealing that the Biden Administration engaged in public deception….well, this is a group that regularly manipulated government employment figures, Wuhan virus pandemic statistics and social media to control public opinion as much as as possible.

Heck, this is a group that hid who was really wielding power in the White House! Hiding a study that doesn’t support a Democrat-Progressive world view? Totalitarianism 101, and the Democratic Party is poisoned by a totalitarian-trending political culture now, as we repeatedly saw during the last four years.

My only problem with Turley’s analysis is that it is thinly sourced, because apparently only Fox News has covered the story so far. I searched for it at the New York Times site: nada. If the story is somewhere in the Times, then the news story is being buried like the study itself…or this is another example of the partisan divide in our unethical “journalism” making it impossible for the public to find out what’s really going on.

That wouldn’t be shocking either.
