If This Isn’t Genuine, It Should Be

  1. Once, my mother opened a package from Amazon to discover it wasn’t what she ordered. Somehow, two addresses got on the box, and they sent it to ours. We tried to put “refused delivery” on the box, but once we opened it, we couldn’t do that (the only reason she opened it was because it was near Christmas and she was expecting something).

The two things in the box were things we could NEVER use (Something for a Kindle and a copy of a book my mother already owns), so when I could get to a post office when it wouldn’t be mobbed (after the holidays, sadly), I paid to ship the package to the other address with a letter explaining the whole thing.

What else was I gonna do?
