Makes you want to cry, doesn’t it, when you hear what people do to one another? Doesn’t matter how enlightened or compassionate the majority is when there’s such a twisted minority (I hope minority) out there deliberately causing pain “for fun”, or to feel good about themselves. Truly sickening.
On the plus side, NO BARBER WILL EVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT TO ME!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
(I need a vacation. This stuff is getting to me.)
Personal compassion aside, I find myself wondering what criminal offense the barber committed. The article mentions “assault”, and although that’s a broad term, I doubt that it could be used to imprison a hair stylist if the client was unsatisfied with the “do” afterwards.
I’ve gotten a couple of haircuts in my day (yes, Jack, I still get them) for which I would have given a good deal to see the barber in the pillory.
That said, I am in full sympathy with the general point of the posting.
It’s a good question. Mayhem? What if a mad barber shaves off your mustache without permission, which hid a hideous scar? Or your eyebrows? Yes, assault seems clearly wrong.
