He Has “No Sense Of Decency,” And Neither Do They: Trump’s Threats To Heidi Cruz Settle It, As If It Wasn’t Settled Already: Anyone Who Would Be Willing To See Donald Trump Become President, No Matter How Horrible The Alternatives May Be, Is An Irresponsible Citizen And Unworthy Of Respect

Beneath contempt.

Beneath contempt.

And this applies to the Republican Party, too.

Yes, it is that simple.

(The disgusting Heidi Trump story is here.)

  1. While I appreciate the ability of the Enquirer to cover stories in places others miss, it seems highly unlikely that the Republican establishment, the Democratic party, and the press (all of whom have despised Cruz for years) would have missed any real sex scandal in Cruz’s past. Somehow they were all so busy with his college roommate talking about how creepy he was as a freshman, his school debate opponents talking about how he would argue any side, his 3rd grade teacher about how had problems with math & the fact that when he was a lawyer the firm he worked for represented a teacher’s union and Cruz actually wrote a brief which supported the union’s position to notice a sex scandal? Am I seriously supposed to accept that the 3 reporters who ferreted out Cruz’s teen-age ticket for alcohol possession in 1987 found that newsworthy while a current sex scandal wasn’t?

  2. Is THIS possibly, finally, Trump’s doing-in of himself?

It is impossible for him to get elected now. (It has been impossible for a GOP candidate to get elected for a long time now – like, since 2008. The GOP already had enough of an insurmountable obstacle to persuading women to vote for GOP candidates.) This latest misogyny locks-up the vast majority of women voters for Hillary, no matter what she does or says. The GOP might reject Trump and cram down some other, less obviously misogynistic candidate, but the damage is done and will not be repaired. God, I would love to hear what Fiorina has to say about Trump now.

The inevitability of 45th president Hillary is more certain than ever.
