Well, another “Have you no decency?” moment…
“Trump could offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election, or decide to move to Mar-A-Lago permanently and leave Jared Kushner to run the country, delegating to him the decision whether they go to war.”
—Lead House Impeachment Manager Congressman Adam Schiff of California during closing arguments in the Senate impeachment trial Monday, bringing unconscionable partisan fear-mongering and anti-Trump hysteria to a new low.
Res ipsa loquitur.
And failure to recognize Schiff as an unprincipled and shameless buffoon is a symptom of Stage 5 Trump Derangement.
When I first read this, I thought it was a parody account reporting. And yet I’m betting he will face almost no press backlash or satirical commentary.
Gee, Bernie could promise 200 million voters he will give them free health care, Warren can promise to absolve all college debtors a trillion in absolution, and Yang can promise a grand a month just to get their votes. These deals are really happening. Why are they not guilty of campaign finance violations offering things of value in a quid pro quo for votes.
Schiff fails to understand that Alaska is part of Trump’s energy independence/ Russian pressure campaign. He wouldn’t trade away Alaska even if he thought he could.
Schiff has proven himself to be a prevaricator of the first order. By now he should have no credibility among reasonable people.
Excellent analysis. But, Iowa can’t seem to a proper caucus., and we want these people running nationalized health, education, road systems, “oversee” the internet, and whatever else would be a government function? Good grief.

Just to prove that a fake Schumer quote can’t out do him Schiff went full Simple Jack.
You never go full Simple Jack!!!
I dedicate this to Adam Schiff: https://youtu.be/U-n_zk7e0ZU
I love a good “Tropic Thunder” reference. Good stuff, that.
So hypothetically, President Trump could offer California to Russia in exchange for support in the next election.
Other than losing a large portion of the beautiful Pacific Crest Trail, I see no downside. We eliminate about half of this country’s lunacy and we get the Russians to pay for it.
… could we give them New York as a bonus?
This whole quid pro quo thing is getting better by the minute.
How did this lunacy spread?
Democrats in the 1990’s did not have this lunacy.
What Adam Schiff is too dim to realize is that by making this argument, he admits the Democrats believe they would have this unlimited authority if elected.
Why would anyone fear one of the current nominees wielding this unchecked authority?
Excellent analysis. But, Iowa can’t seem to a proper caucus., and we want these people running nationalized health, education, road systems, “oversee” the internet, and whatever else would be a government function? Good grief.

The man sounds delusional, plain and simple. This is the opposite number to Sarah Palin seeing Russia from her house. I think 2008 was the Democrats’
Cressy, Poitiers, and Agincourtt, and this is their Castillon.
You are aware that Sarah Palin didn’t actually say that, aren’t you? That line came from a Saturday Night Live sketch. Sarah Palin’s views were regularly distorted and misrepresented in the press, so most people knew little about her. All they knew about was “Straw Sarah”, the distorted image presented in the media.
I almost pointed this out, but it was tangential to the comment. But it’s important to remind people how the news media made Palin out to be a fool, which she is not, how feminists who pounced on any criticism of Hillary as sexist stood by and allowed Palin to be savaged because she was a conservative. And all the while the media was mocking her as unqualified to be a VP, they gave a pass to Joe Biden, a genuine fool, and Obama, who had less experience than Palin.
In then end, she was lazy and venal, and sought celebrity rather than to hone her genuine skills to become a competent public servant and to make good things out of the opportunity that had been dropped in her lap.
Good points all.
Well, while he was at it, why didn’t he bring the aliens into this scary tale as well, or perhaps a poltergeist or Tarot card reading? If he had, it would’ve been no more tinfoil-hat worthy.
Get that thing on straight, Schiff. You’re listing a little to the left — of reality.
Schiff and his ilk are the enemies of civilization. Pure and, apparently, quite simple.
For those of you who have a Stanford and/or Harvard Law degree, how does it feel having to claim this guy as an alum?
Didn’t Obama have a Harvard Law degree too?
Don’t get me started.
