I’ve been sceptical of other “Ethic Hero” nominations, but this one is hard to argue with. I hope the driver faces severe consequences. The linked article states, however: “There’s no word if the driver will face charges”
Why not? Distracted driving is just as bad as drunk driving.
Well done, Officer Goodyear! A good cop doing what good cops do, all cross this country, every day. Only rarely do such acts become national news stories, but they happen frequently. Good on her!
