That’s a silly headline, isn’t it? First, the MSM has already established that it has no integrity, so any tests are superfluous. Second, the mainstream media sees its job as protecting Democrats, not calling attention to their lies, distortions of facts, embarrassments, failures and hypocrisy.
Still, if ever Donald Trump was handed an opportunity to say, “Nyah, nyah, nyah, I told you so, you big dummy!” this is it. During their final debate in the 2020 campaign, Biden expressed disgust at the Trump policy disqualifying aspiring illegal immigrants from applying for asylum in the U.S. if they neglected to first apply for asylum in the other countries they traveled through on the way here, saying,
[T]his is the first President in the history of the United States of America that anybody seeking asylum has to do it in another country. That’s never happened before in America. That’s never happened before in America. You come to the United States and you make your case that, “I seek asylum based on the following premise, why I deserve it under American law.” They’re sitting in squalor on the other side of the river.
But with Title 42 expiring this week and the Department of Homeland Security about to be embarrassed spectacularly for claiming that “the border is secure” as mobs swarm over the Southern Border like settlers during the Oklahoma land rush of 1889, the Administration has suddenly seen the wisdom of Trump’s “inhumane” approach. A rule finalized and published in the Federal Register today clones the Trump policy exactly. The U.S. will now return illegal immigrants from Haiti, Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua to Mexico if they do not apply online, have a sponsor and pass a background check. It will admit 30,000 per month from those nations—when they have necessary documentation— to work for two years.
It should also be obvious that if the President and his administration had any integrity, they would stand by the principles Biden sneeringly embraced in 2020 to accuse Trump of being cruel and inhumane. An ethical journalistic establishment would recognize its duty to make that clear. But you know—“Integrity? What’s integrity?“
This is one more link in a long chain of progressive grandstanding rhetoric on illegal immigration that magically disintegrates when confronted with reality.
Ethics Alarms 
Hell, Biden can’t distinguish between debt and deficit. Expecting anything humbling let alone integrity out of this corrupt politician is a fools errand.
The same goes for the MSM. I saw a headline today that said Proposed GOP budget cuts funds for the hungry. First, any increase in the debt requires that aggregate spending government spending is increasing. Any change would simply slow the increases. There is a huge difference between being hungry and without nourishment. Given the level of obesity among the poor that suggests poor nutrition choices by the poor. Also, any child can get food in schools at reduced or no cost. The cost of one kids smartphone will pay for a lot of nutritious food. In this country being hungry is a choice.
If Biden wants to ensure more resources are available for US citizens then stop funding the human trafficking NGO’s that are facilitating the emergency at the border.
My local TV station plays a government food assistance commercial featuring a mother saying it’s the only way she can feed her kids. She’s got no apparent neck and a dimple where her chin should be.
Baffling on so many levels, when you reach ground level you realize there’s a mineshaft under the skyscraper.

Yeah why should they sit in squalor in Mexico when they can live on our defecation strewn streets.
When do we get reparations for taking in all these asylum seekers? We should bill each country of origin $1 million per asylum seeker. If that is unacceptable just get the military to take wage all out war in those Central American hell holes so the people won’t feel the need to emigrate for “safety”. It might be cheaper in the long run.
A Dem, from president to lowest local politician, will never admit to any of his/her mistakes, hypocrisies, or lies, and the MSM will never acknowledge or otherwise held him/her to any of them.
It is too late. The last report I saw said that 150,000 people are waiting to enter the US in the first wave. Most of them seem to be military-age men. This is an invasion. They won’t stop this without using force and they won’t do that. Many years ago, I suggested that everyone found in the US illegally should be deported. I was told you can’t do that. Well, you could then and that is what needed to happen. Because so many people had that soft hearted and soft headed reaction, we are in this situation. The border we have now is so porous that a person can be deported 5 times and still get back into the US to cause a mass shooting. How is this different than hungry Germans forcing their way into the Roman Empire? The difference is that these people waiting to enter the US aren’t desperately hungry, they just want MORE. They have iphones. They want the free handouts we have been giving people who illegally come to this country. We have prioritized people who illegally come to this country over our veterans, over our own citizens, with the predictable results. This may destroy this country, all because people didn’t want to be seen as ‘mean’ or ‘racist’.
I understand that the Washington Post devoted zero space in todays paper to the congressional press conference on the questionable business payment to the Biden family that took place yesterday. To suggest that this paper has any journalistic integrity is ludicrous.
If you are reading a real newspaper, I’ve found they universally lag the internet by at least a day.
