KABOOM! The Progressive Propaganda Media Is This Desperate To Stop RFK, Jr.

This is pretty funny, actually, or would be, if we hadn’t seen similar tactics used repeatedly against the previous President of the United States.

Here’s what Robert Kennedy, Jr. tweeted in its entirety:

Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me. Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request.  Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr. is not warranted at this time.” Our campaign’s request included a 67-page report from the world’s leading protection firm, detailing unique and well established security and safety risks aside from commonplace death threats.

Got that? Okay, now what about that tweet seems sinister to you, other than what RFK Jr. is alleging?

Here, let me give you some time…

Ready? Give up? This is what the Huffington Post actually wrote:

A tweet from the account of Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Friday used language that many observers say evokes the known Nazi hate symbol “1488.” A post on the candidate’s official Twitter account used the numbers 14 and 88 in close proximity.

The headline for this exclusive is, “RFK Jr.’s Latest Tweet Is Being Widely Interpreted As A Nazi Dog Whistle.” Those “widely interpreting” the message as evidence that Bobby’s eldest is a Nazi are a motley assortment of progressive wackos with Twitter accounts in the throes of either hysteriacl confirmation bias or early dementia. These numbers 14 and 88 do have significance for neo-Nazis: “14” refers to the notorious “Fourteen Words” creed of terrorist David Lane; “88” refers to the eighth letter of the alphabet, as in “HH”/Heil Hitler. And the presence of both in the same tweet is what sane people call coincidence, a conclusion that Occam’s Razor endorses because “The simplest explanation is usually the best one.” At the American Spectator, Robert Stacy McCain asks, in an essay about how woke-driven journalism has gone completely mad,

[W]hat kind of kooks are running the Huff Post these days, and why do they think what they’re doing is “journalism”?

The think that because that is overwhelmingly what journalism has become in a time where protecting the Democratic Party’s power to do the “right” things is the mission, and all threats to that mission must be destroyed by any means necessary. It doesn’t matter that RFK Jr. is about as far from being ant-Semitic and a white power advocate as one can get: challengers to unpopular sitting Presidents tend to cause them to lose, so any negative narrative about Kennedy, no matter how ridiculous, is worth a shot. Hey, it worked with the “pee tape,” right?

[I’m really annoyed that I already used Joseph Welch’s line already today.]

  1. I am surprised that they did not bring up the connection between Joe and Adolf.

Standard Operating Procedure is to mention any bad thing about the subject, regardless of relevance.

    • Note: Sorry, Other Bill, Michelle K and Jeff Staley all wrote replies to Ryan Pell, how had been banned, and as I sagely predicted, ignored my edict, showing the same disrespect that got him banned in the first place. When his unauthorized comments went to SPAM Hell, do did all the responses to them. Sorry. Blame him.

      • No worries, mine was a throw-away line anyway. But I did learn background data regarding providing details to presidential candidates…so net positive.

      • No apology required. When I risk it and engage with bad faith commenters, my comments are usually of the hit and run type and I don’t look at the post for the rest of the day so I can cool down and just let it go.

When I first saw the headline of this post, I assumed the point would be that given the Kennedy family’s history, the DNC and the Biden administration were trying to get RFK, Jr. assassinated to “minimize” his threat to Joe Biden’s reelection.

  2. Ryan Pell:

    “WHAT

    “why was I banned?”

It’s kind of a long story.

Jack had stats and everything. Hard to argue with a man with stats.

(Jack, not trying to get around your ban, but after the warning to Other Bill, Michelle K, and Jeff Staley, I did not want a response to go to spam hell. Delete if you want.)

    • An amusing note: “A Friend,” who banned himself but still keeps trying to sneak in comments, rushed to support ol’ Pell, and had his comment twice-spammed, once for his own banning, and again because it was attached to Pell’s banned comment.

      • Yeah, and I composed a COTD-worthy comment (well, it was long and circumspect) that would not post because you spammed “A Friend” while I was in the middle of typing.

Well I happened to suspect it would not post, so I copied it before posting, if you will indulge me.

      • Do you have the means to set up filters on your email service? Gmail enables me to have it automatically delete emails with certain keywords in the subject, content, or email addresses. Hence they don’t even show up in my spam. I don’t know if yours has anything like that, but it might be worth looking into.

As for Ryan Pell, this may be giving him too much benefit of the doubt, but I think it MIGHT be possible that whatever system he uses to keep track of comments hasn’t alerted him to the one where you pronounced him banned.

  3. wow, I can’t believe it. The more I listen to RFK Jr. the more I like him and I am shocked he’s not dead. He is exposing the lies we’ve all been told. So is Dr. Cornell West who was chastised by Anderson Cooper.. and Cornell was is as left as you can get.

Noticed Biden went on the biggest podcast and went on to discuss “metal health” and had a normal conversation. His admin reached out to Jay Shetty and said he wanted to do that.

Do you think it’s a coincidence?

Rfk Jr has been on so many podcasts and many share audiences. It was a smooth move because Jay is huge and he’d not allow political bashing on his show… so Joe goes on and talks about his boyhood stutter and all this stuff… seems like a likable OLD man… and the comments were “awww he’s so sweet, I think I changed my mind about him.”

that is so strategic it’s scary. Think about it… funny thing is, I can’t think of who else would let him come on and not ask him about his administration.

all that to say, they are really really scared I think… people are waking up and they can’t be called “trumpsters” so they need to make RFK looks sinister, and crazy and all they have done. So glad I have listened to him interviewed by diverse people and at every turn I was blown away by his honestly and ability to not be provoked to say dumb crap or talk bad about others, including Biden.

They SEE what they already believe. Like most of us really, it’s not easy to be open to being wrong.

  4. When are people going to get tired of random neutral colors, symbols and numbers being so-called ties to Nazism. It would be more credible, but just as unfair, to point to Robert’s grand-daddy’s lackluster performance as Ambassador to Great Britain as proof of the candidate’s fascist leanings.

By the way, did anyone read this serious – but FUNNY – indictment of the Kennedy clan recently?
