An administrative note: I know WordPress’s pointless and gratuitous “improvement” of its comment registering system is confusing. But it does work: I spent an hour last week with a “Happiness Engineer” who tested it out with me. I’m sorry for the frustration and inconvenience: from my end, new glitches from WP innovations are a daily feature of writing the blog, so believe me, I feel your pain.

Coming attractions: the rest of the disturbing and perplexing Trevor Bauer saga; the significance of Biden’s second German Shepherd banishing; the education apocalypse, and D.C.’s Black Lives Matter-lovin’ mayor suddenly deciding that police are necessary after all. Lots of other issues rattling around, but as long as you don’t scoop me (or Curmie, who has a guest post coming) on those three, write about any ethics matter you choose.

    They cited a recent report by the Government Accountability Office that detailed numerous problems with the barracks that included rooms with pervasive mold, doors that don’t lock, a lack of air conditioning or heat, contaminated water, and dysfunctional plumbing. In one case, squatters moved into the barracks. In another example, base officials told auditors that service members are responsible for cleaning biological waste that may remain in a barracks room after a suicide.

    “This is reprehensible, and we expect you to take expeditious and appropriate action to hold those personnel accountable and ensure service members are receiving the support they might require after that experience,” the lawmakers wrote.

    There is probable cause that at least one officer of grade O-5 or higher was derelict of duty.

    • This coupled with the planted Newsweek article about the FBI targeting Trump supporters should be seen not as a crazy I’ll considered thought but the first shots by the New Republic.

      These comments should be incorporated into the ads of every political candidates who believes in our Constitution against their Marxist challengers.

    A tech conference was declared as “open to women and non-binary”, a bunch of men showed up, and the organizers (AnitaB) sought to placate the women who registered their displeasure. Shortly after the Legal Insurrection post went up, AnitaB closed their Twitter account. You can still see the replies to the deleted tweets, and the VAST majority are calling them out for hypocrisy.

    Between this and the big leftist cities ready to cry “Uncle!” over rising illegal immigrant and crimes rates, I’m thinking the best solution to wokeness is letting them lay in the beds they made.

    • If only. If that were true, we wouldn’t still have a large (and increasing) population of people who think Communism is great and that it just hasn’t been tried out for real yet, or large numbers of California transplants in nearby states who are turning the states purple.

    Biden is president overseeing the nationally embarrassing cut and run from Afghanistan.

    Putin invades Ukraine.

    Biden cowards out and gives Iran Six Billion dollars.

    Iranian backed militants engage in the ugliest intifada *anyone has seen in history* against Israel.

    Is anyone at all paying attention???????
