This social media snark is going viral now, and it should, though what Trump predicted should have been assumed by the administration, and apparently was. Of course, Trump’s post is marred by his typical bluster and name-calling, but that shouldn’t outweigh the fact that he was right. As one analyst this morning admitted, without Iran’s support, Hamas wouldn’t exist. Biden’s defenders are arguing that, well, the US didn’t really give all that money to Iran, because it was Iran’s money to begin with. Weak. Iran was given access to funds they didn’t not have access to, in exchange for hostages, and Iran seeds terrorist groups. Hamas launched a deadly sneak attack on Israel, guaranteeing war, and almost certainly would not have done so were it not assured of receiving financial support from Iran.
The other lame excuse being floated is that those billions could not be used for bad things, just humanitarian expenses, like food. How stupid is the American public? How many find that ridiculous argument persuasive? Money is fungible. If 6 billion dollars are eventually used to pay for “nice” things Iran has already been paying for, than 6 billion dollars are freed up to spend on terrorism and trying to destroy Israel.
It didn’t take a genius to conclude what Trump did, but it took gullible, foolish incompetents under the direction of President Biden not to, and now many are dead and a dangerous war in the Middle East is on.
Let’s keep score on who is fair and honest about that.
Ethics Alarms 
Regarding the second point: yes, money is fungible. However, the pundits were quick to point out that none of that money has never been released.
If that is true, the connection between the money and the attack can, at least, be questioned
I do find it curious though, that the pundits jumped to try to call that connection into question.
It was practically a pro-active defense of a deal by Biden that has been attacked as an obvious blunder.

Did they say none of the money was never been released or was it ever been released. I would not be surprised if was the former knowing the statement would be interpreted as the opposite.
If I recall, they said the money could only be released if certain documentation was provided and no such documentation had ever been submitted so no money has been released.

It really isn’t that Trump was right, it was that Trump was telling us the truth. This is the same with many things people say that Trump was ‘right’ about. Let’s look at the border. Trump was ‘right’ that open borders would be disastrous for the US. He was ‘right’ that it would cause an increase in crime, homelessness, drug smuggling, fentanyl deaths, and the smuggling of people for slave labor and as sex slaves. The Democrats knew this as well, but they lied about it. Trump just told the truth. The Democrats also knew this would happen, they just wanted it to happen (or at least were OK with it). There aren’t many people alive who are stupid enough to think that wouldn’t happen. The Trump wasn’t so much ‘right’ as the Democrats were lying.
Obama heavily supported Shia issues in the Middle East. Either he highly sympathized with Shia Islam, or he was trying to promote Iran as the main power in Islam, to supplant Saudi Arabia. He promoted the development of an Iranian nuclear power program, allowed them to outsource the R&D of this program to N. Korea and give N. Korea nuclear weapons as well. He gave vast sums of money to Iran that was used, directly or indirectly, to fund Hamas. The Democrats knew the increase in terrorist incidents and the deaths in Saudi Arabia and Yemen from these programs, but they either wanted it to happen or didn’t care. Then they lied about it. Trump wasn’t ‘right’, he just wasn’t lying about it.

The White House is already spinning. Initially, the $6b was said to be spent at the discretion of the United States.
When Iran’s president said that the money belonged to Iran and Iran would spend it as they pleased, Admiral Kirby reiterated that the US had total control of how each dollar would be spent.
This morning, on Fox News Sunday, the money went from being doled out by the US to assure that it wasn’t used for terrorism to: if the Iranians spend that money to promote terrorism, the US will find out about it.
It would be a remarkable coincidence if Iran is backing Palestine terrorists if they have no access to the money, but that’s what they want us to believe.
Joe Biden has never been in business with his son, either.
I’ve also heard it pointed out that soldiers need food, blankets, and medicine, too. The 6b can then both be used only for humanitarian goods AND still free up tons of money for Hamas to splurge on new weapons.
