Brilliant.
Saying you “stand” with someone represented by a figure who isn’t standing. Referring to “Palestine,” when there is no such country to stand “with.”
And, of course, proclaiming solidarity with a terrorist group that just slaughtered innocent people.
Some of us realized that Black Lives Matter is an irresponsible, racist, violent and crooked movement run by despicable people from the very beginning. The latest example is no surprise.
One minor source of satisfaction from BLM’s fatuous “statement of solidarity” with Hamas: my silly neighbor who has inflicted on our neighborhood a large Black Lives Matter display on her front lawn for almost three years quietly took the eyesore down.
When are all the groveling politicians, corporations and organizations who proclaimed their support for these “social justice” scamsters going to take similar action?

To no one’s surprise, a 77 year-old Blogge Idiot TROLT @davidblaska.com is (heh!) OFFENDED by the re-posting of this:

“There are none so blind as those who will not see.” ~ John Heywood
Black Lives Matter had already crested, but this is where I think they touch the third rail and get the shock that goes with it. Remember how those stupid comments about how the Jews should go home to Germany and Poland and wherever destroyed Helen Thomas? This is where a lot of Americans have to decide whether they stand with Israel and the Jews, who’ve still got the Holocaust (barely) in living memory, or stand with those who support those who want to continue the Holocaust by going door to door and killing Jews, just like the Fallschirmjagers parachuting into Poland. Well? Who DO you stand with?
Isn’t it interesting where we as a culture draw the line when it comes to Nazi comparisons?
Isn’t it interesting that up till now BLM has been beating white Americans over the head comparing us to Nazis? Suddenly we see real Nazi-type behavior and EVERYTHING changes.
They don’t understand what Nazism is. They have been indoctrinated with the belief that Nazism is all opposition to left-wing social and economic ideas.
Somewhere along the way, the idea that hating Jews enough to want them all dead being the major tenet of Nazism has been lost to them.
Or something they overlook willingly in order to apply it only to people they don’t like.
I’ve been struck by that recently. A Canadian MP who decried protesting truckers as secret Nazis, claiming “honk honk” was code for “Heil Hitler”, got up and have a standing ovation when a man was introduced as having fought against the Russians in World War II. The people claiming they would “punch a Nazi” instead cheer armed men exterminating Jewish civilians at a music festival.
The Supporters of Hamas need to justify the barbarism Hamas unleashed on Israel. They need to explain to the world why it is justifiable to rape and murder civilians to advance their cause.
We need to see the aftermath of the Hamas attacks on civilians in Israel. As with the unmasking of the Holocaust after the defeat of Nazi Germany, the graphic video needs to be shown. The verbal commentary followed by sanitized images of body bags generates less outrage than bloodied and mutilated bodies would. We need worldwide outrage, condemnation, and support for Israel. And I am not talking about all the pretty blue lights popping up in cities. Israel needs moral, financial, and military support. Iran needs to be severely sanctioned.
Israel needs the support of the world press and media. Unfortunately, the support is lacking. To call the Hamas attackers “militants” as many progressive media outlets are, is an outrage. To give Biden’s outrageous policy of normalizing relations with Iran cover, the media downplays Iran’s role in the attacks on Israel.
The Hamas attackers are terrorists of the worst order. The attacks were not designed to achieve a military objective. They were designed to inflict terror on the Israeli people and Jews worldwide. After the attacks, Jewish temples in this country are hiring security guards to protect their gatherings. I imagine it is happening in other countries as well.
I believe the attacks were also designed to provoke Israel into launching devastating attacks on Gaza. These attacks by Israel will result in widespread deaths and devastation in Gaza. This in turn will serve as a pretext for Hezbollah and other Muslim States to launch attacks on Israel and allow Israel to be condemned in the court of public opinion, with the end game being the complete destruction of the Israeli State.
Throughout history, Jews have been hated and persecuted in many countries around the world. During WWII, Russia, Britain, and the US did little to directly save Jews from the Nazis. FDR and his administration were particularly callous in ignoring the plight of European Jews. Recently the Obama administration, it could be argued, was no friend of Israel. Biden’s $6 billion Funds Transfer to Iran doesn’t help Israel or advance peace in the Middle East.
The thing I find baffling is most Jewish voters in the US are solid progressive Democrats. They were big fans of Obama who time and again demonstrated a fondness for Iran and Muslims while shunning and criticizing Israel. To me, it makes no sense. Of course, the Democrat’s support of progressive and woke agendas makes no sense to me either.
Israel needs the support of all nations and peoples now more than ever; otherwise, the “Never Again” phrase is just words.

It has been noted that Joseph Greenblatt hasn’t denounce that post or the one following it stating:
“Yesterday we sent out msgs that we aren’t proud of. We stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free. Our hearts are with, the grieving mothers, those rescuing babies from rubble, who are in danger of being wiped out completely🇵🇸♥️🖤💚”
and
“Us too, God please unharden Israels heart & help them to stop bombing children & taking over peoples homes & building fences, god please help them see the beauty & peace that can come of ending genocidal behavior”
I guess the Israeli’s should all go to a music festival dedicated to peace with Palestinians…oh wait…never mind.
Do me a favor and cross-post this comment to the Greenblatt post. I wanted to credit him with telling MSNBC off to its “face,” but I also noticed—but did not mention—the giant tell of comparing the Hamas attack with Nagasaki, making a) the Japanese cruel victims despite their barbarism and 2) comparing the US to Hamas…over-reacting against a brutal enemy. It’s possible to be an Ethics Hero and an ethics dunce at the same time.
Yeah, I noticed that about his answer, but that is what I expect from someone on the left these days.
I posted it.
On a related note, I’ve yet to understand all my lefty neighbors putting Ukraine flags on their gates and saying “I stand with Ukraine.” These are uniformly anti-war people. How can they be rooting for a party to an honest to God shooting war where thousands of young guys are being killed and maimed and billions of dollars of munitions are being expended to destroy billions of dollars’ worth of civilization? Do they think this is a college football game? Didn’t Hillary want to “reset” with Russia? Wasn’t Mitt Romney ridiculed by Obama for considering Russia a threat? Wasn’t it Donald Trump who was a warmonger? Wasn’t Joe Biden cleaning up a corrupt country by making them fire a prosecutor? I don’t get it.
Recent reports indicate some of the weaponry used by Hamas has been traced to US supplied weapons to Ukraine that found their way to the black market. This administration has found another way to arm the militants. This is little different than leaving billions in arms after evacuating Afghanistan. All funding and military supplies to non-treaty nations should be stopped.

I love the purported admiration of Hamas’s mastery of asymmetrical warfare. I can’t wait until the Israelis show them what symmetrical warfare looks like.
OK, I have a question about this whole thing. I looked at a map. There is a roughly 1 mile border with Egypt and the Gaza strip. The press is complaining that the only border crossing has been bombed.
Here are my thoughts..
(1) Why don’t they just cross the border. I don’t care if there is a wall, go over it. You can’t tell me that NO ONE in the Gaza strip has a ladder or rope. If it has razor wire, cut it. They have had 5 days. Our Democratic overlords keep telling us that walls and razor wire don’t stop people.
(2) If the border crossing has been bombed, then there probably isn’t a gate or barrier any more. Walk through. Are they waiting for someone to check their visa or passport?
(3) At the end of the border is the ocean. Go into the ocean and around any barriers to get to Egypt.
(4) If Egypt is preventing any of these routes, we know who the real culprit is.
(5) It wouldn’t take a normal person more than 45 minutes to walk to the Egyptian border from anywhere in the Gaza strip. They have had 5 days.
I own ladders. I own rope. I have a sledgehammer. I own boltcutters. I own several pairs of wire cutters. I have leather work gloves. I have an axe and a chainsaw. I think people could get over most barriers with these tools. I have a sedentary occupation, I don’t work construction. You can’t tell me that I am better equipped than the entire Gaza strip.
I lost a lot of sympathy for the people of Gaza looking at that map.
