The fact that Roger Stone supports Donald Trump and that Trump regards him as a friend, advisor and ally is almost enough, all by itself, to justify refusing to vote for Trump no matter who or what he runs against next. Stone, about the slimiest denizen in a scum-filled profession that includes such slimy practitioners as Dick Morris and Lanny Davis (that is, political consultants and operatives), stooped to a new low by calling the wife of Trump rival Ron DeSantis a “cunt” in the coded Twitter/X message above.
I did not know, prior to this incident, about the social media-speak “SeeUNextTuesday,” which means “cunt” like “Let’s go Brandon!” means “Fuck Joe Biden.” It’s pretty obvious, once you think about it, and gutter-level political rhetoric (though HBO allowed Bill Maher to use the term outright when GOP women were the target.). Stone, however, human fungus that he is, added to his ethics foul by denying that he called Casey DeSantis a “cunt,” tweeting ““NOT what I said! Typical @mediate smear.” (The mostly left-leaning political website had stated that “Stone Calls Casey DeSantis a C***,” though it wasn’t the only news source reporting the slur.)
Cute! Either Stone is denying that he didn’t literally use the term “C***.” which is technically true, or he’s claiming that “SeeUNextTuesday” only means “See you next Tuesday.” Either way, it’s a lie, and he knows it. Meanwhile, Stone has left the offensive tweet up on his X feed.
Remember, this creep advises Donald Trump. I wouldn’t let him in my home. I wouldn’t shake his hand. If he sent me a Christmas card, I’d return it.
Jonathan Turley, who gets the pointer for this story, is distraught. “What is distressing is that many have accepted that he made the vulgar attack and defended him for doing so, including a couple on this blog,” the professor writes in a long sigh. “For most of us, it is unfathomable that such rage rhetoric would be embraced by adults. However, it is a measure of our times. While most of us raise our children to avoid such language and personal attacks, it clearly brings a degree of visceral satisfaction for many.”
As for me, I’m more disturbed by the growing popularity among public figures of lying outright when proof of the lie is in plain sight.

I’m perhaps an odd person to (sort of) defend a MAGAman, but, like you, I had no idea this was a slur. It is in the realm of possibility that Stone didn’t, either. If he can supply a reasonable answer to what was happening Tuesday, I’m ready to listen. I doubt that he can, but I watched (on TV) lifetime .060 hitter Rick Camp hit a home run with two outs on an 0-2 pitch to tie a game in the bottom of the 18th at about 3:00 a.m. Anything is possible.

There is no way Stone did not understand the idiom. There is no use for such anywhere

It’s a famous home run for being so unlikely. https://www.batterypower.com/2020/7/4/21312978/this-day-in-braves-history-rick-camps-improbable-july-4th-home-run
One of the most amazing homers in Red Sox history occurred when Dave Henderson hit a two-strike, two out, ninth inning pitch from Angels reliever Donnie Moore to tie up Game 5 of the 1986 ALCS, preventing an Angels pennant that never was to be. Moore had never given up a hit to Henderson, who had never hit a homer under those conditions. Then there was this: “In the major leagues’ first 648 postseason games, no team had ever taken a lead of two or more runs into the ninth inning and lost. And then it happened twice within 24 hours. In ALCS Game Four, on October 11, Boston held a 3-0 lead before the Angels tied it and won in 11 innings. The following day the Red Sox scored four times in the top of the ninth in Game Five, and eventually won in 11 innings. It happened a third time, on October 15, when the Astros blew a 3-0 lead in Game Six of the National League Championship Series, as the Mets came back to win the game (and the pennant), 7-6 in 16 innings.”
An FYI, as a youngster I watched that Braves/Mets game until the 12th or 13th inning, finally giving up, going to bed, and missing the dramatic finish.
I watched that Red Sox-Angels game 5! If memory serves, Don Baylor hit a 2 strike, 2 out, 2 run homer homer to make it 5-4 before Moore came in to pitch to Henderson. But, I thought Henderson also hit a 2 run homer, to go ahead by a run? Can’t remember who the heck got on between Baylor and Henderson though…
Anyway, I want to know why Crispi is mocking Casey D? Why go there? What does she and her young children have to do with anything? Low blows and not a good look.
“No women. No kids” – Leon.
Yup. Put the Sox ahead by one, and the Angels tied it in the bottom of the inning. I followed that game while flying cross country, seeing the 10th in a airport bar in Pittsburgh while changing planes.
The fact that a player was named “Moore” briefly gave me a headache. I’d say it’s too early for ethics, but ethics never sleep…..
Oh, I am getting Roger Moore confused with Roger Stone. Oops….
Well, Roger Moore was occasionally stoned, and Trump always seems to want more of Roger Stone, so the confusion is understandable…
The slur would be clearer if it were C instead of See.
As the reports were of Stone using a “c” word, I was left play 4-letter Wordle. And came up with one other possibility.
Now, after seeing the tweet here, I am all the more confused as it looks to me like Stone is replying to Mike Crispi labeling as female genitalia for mocking Desantis.
