Carron J. Phillips, a writer for the recently resurrected website Deadspin, which wasn’t reliable in its original form as an internet tabloid, decided to use this photo of a young Kansas City Chiefs fan sitting in the stands…

…to justify the headline,

The “native headdress” complaint ignored the fact that the NFL team’s name is “The Chiefs” and that fans have been showing their support like this…

…for decades. And, of course, that the target of Phillips and Deadspin is a little boy who we now know was 5-years-old. But wait! There’s more! After Carron posted that photo on X with a link to his despicable article, X-users responded with this…

…because the kid really appeared at the game looking like this…

I particularly enjoyed the story after writing, in the other tale this month about woke maniacs abusing a child for alleged blackface when another kid was just wearing eyeblack like his favorite athletes, “That’s odd; I’ve studied blackface and its history, and I don’t recall any minstrel shows with performers painting only half their faces black. By that standard, “Star Trek” was using blackface in this episode…

…which was bad enough as it was.”

And just like that, Deadspin and its usual gang of idiots did exactly that!

When will Americans of all colors, political views and creeds have the decency to reject these shameless race-baiting bullies and Machiavellian dividers who have used the death of a Minneapolis hood in a non-racial police-related incident to justify an endless series of attacks on great Americans, police, whites and children? Glenn Reynolds refers to the Carron J. Phillipses as
“garbage people.” I don’t like the term, but it’s growing on me. Among the hundreds of reasons Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in polls right now despite being, well, Donald Trump, is that the Democratic Party has supported the stream of lies coming from this group and the societal carnage that has resulted. When will Democrats begin to realize that this is the McCarthyism of the 21st Century? Have they no decency ?
