From the Res Ipsa Loquitor Files: This Is The Quality of Judge Biden Is Nominating and the Senate is Confirming

In the stunning exchange above on May 22, Sen. Ted Cruz confronted one of Biden’s nominees to the Federal bench who placed a serial rapist who is a biological male (that is, all standard equipment included) in a women’s prison. She claimed, incredibly, that she always makes her decisions based on the facts of a case and the law, while repeatedly refusing to answer Cruz’s specific questions by repeating an obviously pre-programmed evasive answer (like the three university presidents who kept saying that whether anti-Semitic speech was acceptable on campus depended on “the context”), “I considered the facts presented to me, and I reached a decision…,” etc.

Cruz contended that the judge made ideological loyalty a higher priority than the fact or law, citing the fact that she deemed a 6’2″ serial rapist with a penis a “safe” inmate in a prison full of women.

Her decision was, obviously, not logical, rational or reasonable, just slavish, lock-step obedience to transgender propaganda.

In a fair, respectable Senate, many if not all Democratic Senators would have the courage and integrity to vote to reject such an unfit nominee. This isn’t a political matter but a purely ethical one. If female inmates are not harmed by a biological male with a history of sexual violence placed in a position to harm tham, that is moral luck, not evidence that the judge’s ruling is defensible.

(The absurd and destructive decisions progressives in authority are willing to make as well as the damage to others they are willing to risk in order to avoid the enmity of the transsexual mob continue to be breathtaking.)

  1. She claimed that she was guided by the statement by wardens of male prisons that he had not shown any danger to the other male inmates.
Interesting logic that because he did not assault male inmates he would be safe in a female prison.

    • Devil’s advocate here: if his prior convictions consisted solely of male assaults and he was also greater stature than those he was *ahem* exposed to, perhaps this is a significant.

My big beef with lawyers discussing medical terms is there is no such thing as female hormones and male hormones. Both classes of sex hormones–predominantly female and predominately male–exist in both sexes, but the proportions differ widely, and those proportions also differ widely over time, especially for females.

I don’t have the medical records and doctor justifications in front of me–but what if he was pumped with four our five times the level of a typical female’s estrogen just to match the “female” ratio to the naturally present testosterone?

Medically, the biological response to hormones isn’t even understood in typical hetero-normative populations, let alone the populations of people that matured on one set of hormonal ratios and later decided a drawn out journey of self-castration might solve their personal demons of self-control.

      • Phone, and anyone else who’s interested: great book: “T The Story of Testosterone, the Hormone that Dominates and Divides Us,” by Carole Hooven. She’s the endocrinology lecturer formerly at Harvard who was shit-canned for lecturing on … endocrinology. (Science!) Super readable and well-written. Even a lawyer can understand (most of) it.

  2. I wish I knew what, or who, was next on the progressive agenda. Whose rights are next up? Who’s the next oppressed group? The Muslim vote seems to be locked up. As is the transgender vote, presumably. Felons? Anyone who’s, what was it, criminal justice system impacted? If they “decarcerate” everyone and restore their voting rights in time for this fall, that would be millions of votes.
