I love this story! It has everything…except any certainty about who is telling the truth.
Chad Condit, California Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil’s former chief of staff, has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her. He alleges that she pressured him into performing sex acts for her enjoyment when they were traveling together on her official business.
Point of interest #1: Does that name ring a bell? Yes, Chad is the son of Gary Condit, the former Congressman who was a suspect in the Chandra Levy disappearance and murder. He allegedly was having a sexual affair with her, an intern who worked in his office. Now, for this family, the alleged sexual harassment is on the other foot—well, you know what I mean.
Point of interest #2: Alvarado-Gila, meanwhile, is a longtime Democrat who recently got national headlines when she switched to the Republican Party, saying that the Democratic Party had become so extreme that she could no longer support it. I’m ruling that she is—if guilty, of course—is an embarrassment to both parties.
Condit, who is married, says he performed the sex acts on his boss over the years to keep his job. Oh. I’d say the time to raise the sexual harassment was before capitulating to the demand the he be his boss’s toyboy, but that’s just me. Yes, I know: inherently unequal power, no genuine consent, all of that. Nonetheless a metaphorical deal with the Devil to keep your job with the Devil is still far from the most ethical and responsible response when the Devil is supposed to be a trusted public servant. This “sex-based quid pro quo relationship” still required him to agree to the quo.
Now the tale heads into slapstick territory: on their final sexual adventure, Condit says he suffered a debilitating back injury while having to “twist and contort” as he performed oral sex on the senator in a car. Don’t you hate it when that happens? He alleges that he suffered three herniated discs and a collapsed hip. There was a silver lining, though: he started using his back injury as an excuse to reject Alvarado-Gil’s demands for oral stimulation. However, she retaliated and issued a disciplinary letter accusing him of inappropriate conduct with her. When he no longer could or would fulfill her needs and told her he would need back surgery, Alvarado-Gil fired him—or so he says.
“This was a sex-based quid pro quo relationship of unwelcome advances and sexual behaviors coupled with punishment and flexing of power,” the suit alleges. Alvarado-Gil’s lawyer’s response: “A disgruntled former employee has fabricated an outlandish story, presented without evidence, to get a payday.”

Having been around insurance defense lawyers for twenty years, the “back injury” is the tell. Sounds like a twofer to me. Slime this uppity Mexican chick who evidently has the absolute gall to wander off the reservation AND pick up some PI loot!
Additionally, I have an inherent bias against guys alleging they are victims of sexual harassment. It just doesn’t compute. Guys are sport fuckers and predators, women aren’t. Come on, be a gentleman. Don’t think with your little head, just say “no.”

We have been primed to believe ANY accusation that is hurled at anyone who doesn’t support the Left and who God forbid leaves the Democratic party.
Now all anyone has to do is SAY something and whoever holds the bias pretty much automatically believes the gossip.
I think we’re told not to gossip is because people are so quick to believe what they hear then act on it in ways that hurt others.
And it’s so sad to see just how asleep people are that they’ve even gone THIS far!!
The upside is they are going so far, they are waking up GIANTS who are smart enough to lay aside the need to agree on everything and align to stop this crap.
I don’t know if this story is true or not, but my God, what man would complain about regular sex? NONE that I know or have ever known.
Also, after all the people I have seen attacked for drifting (or allegedly) to the middle or right… from most recently Tulsi Gabbard, RFK, Russell Brand, Joe Rogan, Andrew Huberman, and there are so many others who just speak common sense or are REAL and don’t parrot the left speak lingo… OR God forbid they TALK to someone who maybe even is a bit weird…. but they want to still have conversations…
and now, we can’t talk???

Well if it’s a set-up, the guy was willing to be the butt of off-color jokes for the rest of his life.
Incidentally, female on male sexual harassment is real: I had a close friend who experienced it, and he had a tough time getting anyone to take him seriously. And Michael Crichton’s novel captured the problem well…as did the movie version of “Disclosure.”
Who in their work lives hasn’t had to bail out of a shitty situation even though being forced to do so was unfair and detrimental in the short run?
I’m in the JVB and AMD camp. I won’t go as far as OB but if this was harassment he needed to put on his big boy pants and make the complaint when it supposedly began.
Remember people, it isn’t sexual harassment until they turn Conservative or we really need to virtue signal something.

Brett Kavanaugh: dream fantasies recovered by hypnosis are sexual harassment, even rape. If he wasn’t a rapist, he wouldn’t have even been in her dreams.
