Ethics Verdict: This Is Unforgivable, and Accountability Is Mandatory

“Holy Crap!” indeed.

I have to come to the harsh but unavoidable ethics verdict that anyone who votes for the same political party responsible for us having a President in this condition is stupid, irreversibly ignorant, completely uninformed, or a mindless partisan robot eager to love Big Brother.

As I recently reminded readers by quoting from this post in early 2020, the fact that Joe Biden was losing his already tenuous grip on competence was evident before the Democrats nominated him. I wasn’t unusually perceptive; the Democratic Party’s Dark Leaders had to know that the assorted demagogues, anti-US socialists and empty suits competing with him for the Presidential nomination that year had little chance of defeating the Evil Donald Trump, and also that Biden was literally unfit to hold office. Then the pandemic struck, and the party, which aspires to be called The Party henceforth, realized that they could hide Joe in the basement, pretend he wasn’t losing marbles daily, and use pandemic terror spread by its media allies to justify useful changes in election security. Voilà! Victory “by any means necessary.” [Harry Reid chimes in from the Lake of Fire where he now resides, “Romney lost, didn’t he?”]

Then, of course, Biden’s disability had to be scrupulously and ruthlessly hidden from the public by what Winston Churchill would call “a bodyguard of lies.” The current Presidential candidate was a full participant in this cover-up, and that is on the record. If Biden hadn’t turned into Gabby Johnson in his debate with Trump, the cover-up might still be ongoing, and the Democrats would be running a genuinely senile old man to be President for the next four years!

But never mind: The Party is trying the same unconscionable trick now, desperately trying to hide who and what Kamala Harris (and her running mate) really is just long enough to get her elected.

There is no genuine, credible argument that a political party capable of such dishonesty and betrayal of the public trust should ever be allowed to hold power again absent a total reform. If these totalitarian tactics get the desired results, they will not only continue, they will become the norm. Voting for that result is accepting useful idiot status, and signing a metaphorical death warrant for the aspirational republic that the Founders envisioned.

  1. This is on top of Biden confusing the Iranian air strikes on Israel with the looming (and now abruptly terminated) dockworker strike.

The man isn’t able to function as president. The Party might not be worried about the optics around Biden. They have their new, younger, joy-filled candidate that will assume control shortly. But the optics around the world is terrible. If Biden isn’t coherent enough to understand military escalation, how emboldened will other enemies become, knowing that from now until January, the leader of the USA requires someone to hold his hand for day-to-day tasks?

    • I didn’t deal with the substance of Biden’s whole answer, which included saying that the storm victimes were “happy” with the government response—or the fact that every outlet but Fox News believes that the public doesn’t need to know that their President is a babbling moron at this point. You know: it might hurt Harris’s chances of saving democracy if they knew…

  2. Every single Republican (and Democrat for that matter) should be calling for him to step down now.

Then, they should be calling for Harris to invoke 25A.

And, the calls should be relentless. It should be brought up at every opportunity.

If Harris were any kind of leader, she would be President by now.

  3. Harris touts the one time $750 emergency funds available but to get it families must go online to fill out the application and they will get the money in 10 days.

Forgive me but how do you go online when their is no power not cell service and Internet and all the ATM’s are unable to function. Imagine the potential for scamming this method

    • Are you sure? These parts are overwhelmingly Republican. If they are dead, they can’t vote. If their towns are destroyed, there is no power, and there are no functioning buildings, there are no polling places. Therefore, these people can’t vote. Raleigh and Charlotte are very Democrat. Looks like NC just turned blue.

      • Asheville is pretty blue…even have their own burgeoning homeless encampments to complement the microbreweries and art dealers. But they’re a small sacrifice in advancing overall leftist control, I suppose.

      • Yep, although Asheville is a progressive city the surrounding towns are not so don’t count them out of voting. If anything that pitiful $750 will be the incentive for people to find a way to vote. Mountain people, unlike most progressives, are full of grit and resilience. They also will help their neighbors even if they need help themselves. I know because I’m one of them. One life was lost in my county when a man tried to rescue someone but his boat capsized and he drowned. The whole county has been without water but residents here are donating and delivering supplies to the areas hurt the most. Two bridges were lost and much farmland washed away but you hear no complaining. We are just thankful no more lives were lost than one and the dam located in our county held. It has been reported that at one time 1.2 million gallons of water a second were coming over that dam and at that point was considered a code red posing a chance of imminent collapse. But, like the population here, it stood strong. Additionally, folks from these mountains are intuitive by nature and that is why we see through “The Party’s” smoke and mirrors. If Biden and Harris think they impressed anyone by showing up just proves what out of touch idiots they are. And if they think $750 is great they are not just idiots but morons to boot.

        • What county? Our daughter and son in law have a vacation cabin in Haywood county, north of Maggie Valley. No damage (fairly high up a small mountain) according to a full-timer neighbor that checked on it, but no power for any of the houses there. SiL’s parents came over to stay with them here (N. of Atl. ‘burbs) after having no power in Augusta (GA) for several days.

      • Michael.
News reports from just one day ago give vastly different figures on personnel they range from 500 to 1500 which means I have no faith in what is reported. One report says they have 30 people going door to door to help people fill out disaster relief forms.

It also appears from reports that the federal government is blocking private efforts. What is true and what is not is up for debate.

  4. Anyone else notice how we’re getting a lot of posts about how awful Trump was in handling emergency responses? Way more than I see about Biden’s current job.

Seems like another case of IIPTDXTTNMIAFB

  5. I really want this to be an AI deep fake, but it isn’t. This is like all the things they say Trump said, but when you check they are lying.
