For Harris, a Double October Surprise That Would Sink a Normal Presidential Candidate—That is, One Running on Something More Than “I’m Not Trump!”

Ace of Spades, the merciless conservative assassin, posted a devastating discussion of not one but two new and damning revelations about Kamala Harris. I’ll send you over to Ace for the details, but here’s a sample of his analysis…

“Surprise! Kamala Harris Took Advantage of an Affirmative Action Program for “Disadvantaged Children” Despite Being the Daughter of Two Well-Off Professors. She is the worst example of DEI anti-meritocracy. She got into a very meh law school named Hastings. And she didn’t even get in on her own merits…. Further evidence she’s a DEI hire? She’s a plagiarist…. there are new charges that she plagiarized almost the entire speech of an attorney general. One part she didn’t plagiarize, though: she took a fictitious example of a sex crime, changed the city the imaginary incident occurred in, and presented it a real. That part, presenting a fake “for example” scenario as real? That was Pure Kamala…. Ekdahl says she’s lazy. Trump says she’s dumb. Both are right. I would point out, though, that Kamala’s problems — not being able to do her own work, constantly demanding that others “position her for success,” not reading report her staff writes for her and then screaming at them when she’s embarrassed due to her own ignorance — are also signs of being 1., a coddled, protected DEI incompetent, and 2., a day-drinking drunk.”

Ouch.

Now over to Ace…

  1. One of my friends said yesterday that KH is a drunk, but I’m not aware of any proof that she abuses alcohol. Where does this guy come up with “day-drinking drunk?” I don’t want to defend KH, but let’s not blow what’s looking like a pretty solid chance to beat her by relying on bs.

    • I agree. Rumors, gossip and wild speculation are unethical weapons. I don’t know if the woman drinks at all, much less overdrinks.

      • I think among younger people (under fifty-five or so), “day drinking” is pretty much a euphemism for “not being serious about things like work.” In other words, I think it’s used tongue-in-cheek.

      • I have seen instances where she appears to be drunk. Listen to this serious question about a humanitarian crisis in Poland. Harris is in Poland, appearing in a press conference with the Polish President. She answers this question by laughing, then stating “A friend in need is a friend indeed”, then laughing to the point that the Polish President has to answer for her.

It is instances like this that make people wonder if she is drunk. Assuming she is intoxicated on something is the GENEROUS interpretation. The other is that she is completely inherently unfit for any position of responsibility.

Don’t bother getting the one out of moderation, just use this one.

    • Well, I have watched her speak on several occasions and wondered if she was drunk. She acts like she is drunk. For example, in Poland, she was doing a press conference with the Polish President. A reporter asked her (paraphrased) “Given the large numbers of Ukrainian refugees pouring into Poland, beyond our ability to help, is the United States planning on taking any of them?”

Kamala Harris answerd (laughing) “I guess a friend in need is a friend indeed” and then she broke into a laughing fit and the Polish President had to answer the question.

      Does she appear drunk?

    • As I said Ace has few restraints in place and is merciless; that’s why I seldom link to him. That, and the fact that nobody seems to know who he is. But his summary of the two latest revelations was excellent.

Meanwhile, speculation that Harris is drunk on public on occasion has been going on for some time, as with Nancy Pelosi (whose nickname on some conservative sites is “Granny Boxwine.”

  2. The observation that Affirmative Action typically helps the more privileged members of minority groups isn’t new, nor is it limited to the political Right. In “The New Jim Crow”, Michelle Alexander describes AA not as a good-faith attempt to improve the lot of disadvantaged minorities, but as a “racial bribe” given to privileged, politically engaged, influential members of that minority, in exchange for them supporting the overall system.

Looks like Harris took the bribe. It’s not surprising, given that she seems to view politics as a system of bribes.

    • Children of professors, judges, celebrities, wealthy donors and politicians get a huge leg up in college admissions and early career hiring. The have the potential to bring prestige to the institution taking them on beyond the competent work ordinary slugs can and do deliver.

      • Certainly, the privileged cozy up to the privileged, to sustain and enhance their own privilege.

It’s just that’s pretty much the *opposite* of the justification given for Affirmative Action.

        • Look at Claudine Gay. She went to the Phillip Exeter Academy, which costs over $65,000/year. She is the type of person who ends up with the spots reserved for the ‘underpriviledged’. She is also the type of person who tells a laid-off West Virginia coal miner to ‘mind his priviledge’.

  3. This is a little off-topic, but what is it with these Democrats who claim to have been in the military? Is is really made up or were they just a danger to themselves and others when in uniform?

Walz, who falsely claimed to be a Command Sergeant Major, took the press along hunting. During the photo-op, he was unable to load his personal, owned it for years by golly, brand new, $2500 shotgun. Shouldn’t the military be humiliated? This is someone who was offered Command Sergeant Major rank and he can’t even LOAD HIS OWN SHOTGUN that he ‘routinely’ hunts with. Was the press aware that this ‘hunting trip’ was staged? Why didn’t he appear competent at his own ‘staged’ hunting trip that was supposed to show how manly he is and how well he handles firearms?

Now we have Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Lucas Kunce, who claims to be A MARINE, take a TV press team to watch him shoot an AR-15. He ended up hitting the reporter with shrapnel! He was shooting (probably) FMJ at well over 3000 fps (maximum steel velocity) at a steel target at 10 yrds or so. The minimum recommended distance for shooting steel with a rifle such as that is 100 yds. Did he not know that the Marine diet consisting exclusively of crayons is a joke?

Has our military become this incompetent with basic firearms usage? Is it just Democrats? Did our Democratic politicians fake their military service or were they just incompetent?

    • The progenitor of all this posing is John (Kiss me, I’m kind of Irish) Kerry’s home movies of him playing soldier with an M-16, or was it an M-1, scrambling over a mound in the jungle for no apparent reason. That and, “Let’s put him on a swift boat. He’s grown up at yacht clubs.”

        • To be fair, there are a lot of soldiers in the world who would be happy to take an AR-15 into combat. You see Russian reserve troops with Mosin-Nagant rifles. You see soldiers in the Middle East still using M1 Garands. Not everyone gets a top shelf weapon.

        • Honestly, the wartime uses for the full-auto setting of a select-fire rifle are few, and that’s counting a couple that are real Hail Mary’s. Carrying a semi-auto as a rifleman wouldn’t be bad, assuming you’re backed up by the usual support weapons.
