I am happy to say that I was never especially impressed with Owens, but when she first emerged as a conservative black woman who was not deceived by Black Lives Matter and was an articulate and attractive pundit on the Right, many were. Lately the proverbial blush has been off the rose since she has displayed ugly anti-Semitic attitudes, but never mind: that video makes everything that has come before irrelevant.
That’s signature significance. Anyone who believes that space travel is a hoax is, by definition, an idiot. No one should take Candace Owens seriously. Ever.
Let us never speak of her again.
Holy Cow!!!!!
I’m completely stumped that someone that’s shown such critical thinking about all kinds of modern social issues has completely swallowed the utter bull shit claims from the anti-space cabal of gullible imbeciles. Again…
Holy Cow!!!!!
I just lost a level of respect for Candace Owens that she will never be able to regain.
Same here…she used to have some common sense discussions, but now seems to have been a victim of space alien brain scrambling. So sad….running with the wrong crowd?
It’s hard to really know what to say after watching (most) of that video. I couldn’t even watch it to the end.
Anyone who is so lost to reality as to believe that the entire space program was fake, well, clearly her mind has turned to mush at some point.
I was sad to see her anti-semitic turn, but this is on a whole new plane.
But yes, let us never pay attention to her again.
HT was right on her years ago.
I’m a home school advocate especially for those living in districts where the public schools are essentially indoctrination centers but this Owens’ rant is an advertisement against. How will she teach science to her four kids?
What must her hubby be thinking? Is he reassessing the marriage altogether? This is National Enquirer front page material, unless she’s on to something…
Have a nice day and keep the faith…🤠
The thing that amazes me is that NASA left irrefutable proof that they were actually there in the form of a reflector.
Anyone, anywhere can (at the right time, of course) aim a laser at the right spot on the moon and your own laser will reflect back to your position, complete with the exact-correct speed-of-light delay for the Moon’s distance from the Earth (a little over 1 second, so observable without special equipment and measurable with it).
Gosh, you can even turn it on and off to send arbitrary Morse code signals or any other random pattern of your choosing which will be reflected back to you perfectly, proving that it’s YOUR laser you’re seeing reflected back at you.
Yes, we shall not speak of her again.

Wow, I did not know that. Thanks for providing that information. Looking it up, apparently the reflector that Buzz Aldrin placed 55+ years ago is still operational.
Neat.
Candace Owen says that Buzz Aldrin never existed….
See?! This is what I was talking about when I said conspiracy theories come from the work of the Devil!
…Wait, let me try that again.
I mentioned that people who believe that the Devil is trying to deceive them are engaging in the same sort of reasoning that produces conspiracy theories. This is another example of that. So are many (if not all) of the Flat-Earthers. Owens might be one of those, too; I don’t care enough to check.
Some people really want to believe what the Christian Bible tells them (or at least what they are told it tells them), but they don’t know how to reconcile those messages with what the scientific method shows us about the world, or what engineering has allowed us to accomplish. Therefore, they write the latter two off as evil deceptions trying to turn people away from the virtuous truth.
When a person believes that ethics and virtue are tied to beliefs themselves, rather than to our decisions and actions based on those beliefs, then they will believe or disbelieve anything else, no matter how absurd the conclusions, if it means protecting the “virtuous” beliefs.
Most of Christianity believes, as I understand it, that the best possible virtue requires believing that Jesus of Nazareth was the son/incarnation of a deity, and that there is a being opposed to that deity. As Michael West pointed out in his response, they do acknowledge other potential sources of corruption. Still, despite Jesus himself preaching kindness towards others, many Christians back in the colonial days ended up trying to execute witches, and many in modern times get roped into cults or conspiracy theories. It’s more challenging to look at the world honestly if you have a vested interest in coming to a particular conclusion.
