When I read about this, I was certain that some NEA-hating conservative news source was exaggerating. Nope. It is right there in black and white, as you can see above in the entry from the National Education Association’s newly released 2025 handbook. My brain found this so shocking that it refused to explode as it should have, and just went into a safety shutdown. I can’t account for the last three hours…
The nation’s largest teacher’s union is a massive contributor to the Democratic Party, a major reason why public education has deteriorated into ideological indoctrination, and a force for ill in American culture and society. It was, for instance, substantially responsible for the disastrous decision to close the schools in the midst of the Wuhan Virus Ethics Train Wreck. Now it has openly proclaimed its hostility toward not just Israel, but the Jewish people.
The handbook, the NEA’s guide for the union’s nearly 3 million members, describes the Holocaust as having “12 million victims… from different faiths.” As unquestioned historical sources make undeniable, “The Final Solution” was at the core of Hitler’s extermination project. The NEA says the union will “promote the celebration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day” by “recognizing more than 12 million victims of the Holocaust from different faiths, ethnicities, races, political beliefs, genders, and gender identification, abilities/disabilities, and other targeted characteristics.” This section is on the page before the one shown above:
The NEA then promotes “Nakba” education, which describes Israel’s founding in 1948 as the “forced, violent displacement” of 750,000 Palestinians. The document further pledges to teach that “anti-Zionism is not antisemitism” and defends educators’ and students’ “free speech in defense of Palestine.” In case the graphic above is too hard to read, here are the key sections:
States one news source, “Critics argue the NEA is promoting a one-sided, revisionist history while ignoring the central role of Jews in the Holocaust.” This would warrant a “Ya think?” except that I have used my quote for today in the previous post. Where’s the “argument”? That is exactly what the NEA does in the handbook, and the position goes beyond unethical into evil. The group is obviously proud of its position and confident that the Democratic Party and the public supports it.

Now what? Here is what…
- Strip the NEA of its Federal Charter. The National Review writes that while federal charters are “largely symbolic,” they’re not “powerless.” Charter holders have a “special national distinction” that helps them raise money. But today’s NEA is “a lobbying and funding juggernaut with almost 3 million members,” and though ostensibly an educational organization, “its real purpose is political.” Over 97% of the “millions” it spends on lobbying and donations goes to Democrats, and its “calls to action” are always for liberal causes. If Congress chooses not to revoke the charter, it could still at least “place limitations on the NEA’s lobbying and political activity.”
- Challenge Democratic leadership to condemn the organization’s anti-Semitism. The Axis media loves playing “Gotcha!” any time a less-than-savory individual or group supports a Republican position or official, demanding that contributions be returned or rejected. Swell: the NEA isn’t just any party supporter, but a major one. Accepting contributions from the NEA validates Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism.
- Tell your Democrat-enabling Jewish friends that they are hypocrites, and that bias has made them stupid.
- Here I officially remove my ethicist hat and indulge in an admittedly unprofessional rant so be warned…Shake this Handbook in the face of your Trump-Deranged friends, relatives and social media pals and dare them to defend their party, which ran an entire Presidential campaign on the slander that Republicans are fascists. I say to those in my sphere, “Come on, assholes, defend the NEA! Defend your party’s support for terrorism and anti-Semitism, and now Holocaust denial. Put your metaphorical money where your stupid bias is. I dare you. Come on. Do it.“
- Admit, and demand that everyone admit (like, say Stephen Colbert!, how despicably, destructively, biased and unethical the Axis news media is. Come on, “A Friend”: explain to everybody why New York Times deciding that the NEA erasing Jews from the Holocaust isn’t newsworthy doesn’t stand as proof positive of corrupt, useless, rotten journalism, the essence of being an “enemy of the people.” Come on, Curmie, justify your Trump Derangement when your ideological allies go down this damning path. So far, virtually none of the Axis media has had the guts or integrity to criticize the vile pronouncements of their favorite party’s key supporter. Why would that be, do you think?
Ethics Alarms 
This is outrageous. The Nazis didn’t aim to wipe out all Communists. You could recant your Communism and be left alone. You could recant your Jehovah’s Witness faith ( and very few did) and be left alone. There were no gender identity victims…they were homosexuals. You would be left alone if you didn’t engage in homosexual behavior.
You could not recant your Jewishness. It didn’t matter if you’d never set foot in a synagogue in your life. Converting to Christianity didn’t save you. Being a medal wearing war veteran didn’t save you. Being Jewish was biological to the Nazis. They were the only group of people that the Nazis purposed to murder every single one.
There is no doubt that many people suffered in concentration camps, but the only ones marked for death from cradle to grave were Jews.

The Big Lie about the so-called Nakba is that Israel forced the so-called “Palestinians” out. Not only was there never a Palestinian state – Israel didn’t kick them out.
The surrounding Arab states, refusing the accept the creation of Israel, planned to invade and seize the territory. They told Arab residents of the area to clear out so they wouldn’t get caught in the crossfire with Israel. Many did – but certainly not 750,000 of them.
As we know, the brand-new state of Israel ended up quickly kicking the invaders’ asses. Those Arabs who had remained in Israel were considered citizens, and enjoy the same rights as Jews to this day. Those who left so Arab armies could kill Jews weren’t welcomed back – and the Arab states have been exploiting this ever since.
By all means: students should be taught about “the nakba” – but only as an object lesson in how propaganda and exploitation work. Pretty sure the NEA curriculum doesn’t have that angle in mind.

My guess is that the NEA is not interested in these facts.
I have another question, not to TDS “sufferers”, but to all parents who send their children to public schools: are you not responsible for the miseducation of your children if you leave them there? Should you not pull them out, and send them to private or parochial schools, or home school them? My impression is that public education is an Augean stable that cannot be reformed, but can only be cleaned out by having the entire system burned to the ground, or having the Mississippi flow through it or wash it away.

Jews get special recognition as we view the Holocaust, no doubt about it. The infernal Nazi regime singled them out for special treatment (death, immediate or after being worked to death).
You don’t have to be perverse to be interested in arithmetic and numbers and think “Hey..let’s do the math. The death toll in World War Two was what…50 million? 60 million? Let’s say that 50 million – 6 million is 44 million. Who else died? where? why? how?
So, you start adding up figures, trying to recall things you heard or might have heard.

What am I trying to say here? I’m not really sure.
I don’t have much insight into the Arab mind. And I don’t want to get started on the Nakba argument.
I think it’s acceptable to have a sustained interest in figuring out who all the other civilians were murdered by the Nazis. I don’t think we have to expand the concept of the Holocaust to include them all, but nor do I think we just ignore them.
What to teach school kids? I’m not too sure.
I used to read the work of Rummel, who studied “death by government.”
The book _The other Holocaust: Many circles of hell_ is available used on amazon. Since I am a ghoul I’ve been aware of the title for decades now, but still have not read it.
