So It’s Guilt By Association, Then? That’s It? Really, Democrats? Wow. Five Questions….

With great hoopla, Democrats have released photographs from the Dark Ages showing a young Donald Trump and other personages of note at social gatherings in the company of Jeffrey Epstein. “It’s unclear when all of these pictures were taken,” says NBC News. It also notes, “They do not appear to show illegal activity by these individuals,” and that Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon and Woody Allen, among others, appeared among 19 photos out of more than 95,000 photos in the infamous Epstein Files.

Based on this, House Oversight Committee ranking member Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) actually said, he really did, “It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends. These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”

Why are those photographs “disturbing” except to someone who has already decided that they suggest something that isn’t in the photographs? [Q 1]

The mind boggles. By what standard, other than “We hate the man and just know he’s done terrible things and we’ll use confirmation bias a proof because that’s enough for the Trump Deranged and the idiots and frankly, it’s all we have” is this reasonable, honest, fair or responsible? [Q 2]

Why don’t good faith, ethical Democrats have to rush to their bathrooms to contain their projectile vomiting as they take in this embarrassing, desperation resort to guilt by association, Joe McCarthy’s favorite ploy? [Q 3]

Shouldn’t an ethical news media collectively respond to this tactic by pointing, jeering and laughing? [Q 4]

My favorite Trump Deranged Facebook friend referenced Epstein this week. I’m embarrassed for him. I’m embarrassed for everyone enabling Democrats and the Axis in dragging out this non-story. And the fifth question: Who will finally have the guts to stand up and say, “Enough!”?

  1. “So It’s Guilt By Association, Then?

    That’s It?

    Really, Democrats?”

The answer to all three of those questions is yes, Yes, and a resounding YES!

Was the past nearly 20 years just a bad dream on my part?

This has been going on politically since at the very least 2008 and, although the Democrats have taken it to a new levels of absurdity, it’s not just a one sided tactic.

  2. Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said, “It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends.”

This is a really interesting statement. No one in the Democratic Party that I know of ever accused the Biden administration of a “cover-up” for not releasing the Epstein files for a full four years. This statement wreaks of blatant hypocrisy and pure partisan propaganda.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said, “These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.”

I’m sure there are lots of photos of Epstein hobnobbing with lots of people, after all, he was circling the elite social circles for years. I bet there are also some “disturbing” photos of Epstein between his toddler years all the way up to his late teens doing horrible things like hanging out with friends, maybe even playing basketball or something evil like that – the horror! Side Note: from what I can tell; any photo with Donald Trump in it is “disturbing” to a progressive Democrat – it triggers hard snowflaking.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said, “We will not rest until the American people get the truth.”

That statement is transparent fear mongering, conspiracy theory mumbo-jumbo, pure unadulterated propaganda. Rep. Garcia should be ashamed of himself.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said, “The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”

Maybe Rep. Garcia doesn’t understand that the Department of Justice has to follow the rulings made by Judges just like you and I do. It has been openly stated by Alan Dershowitz, who was an Epstein attorney, that the primary reason Epstein documents have not been released is, Judges have sealed them preventing them from being released. My understanding from Dershowitz is that this is not something that has been under the control of the Biden or the Trump Administration to release. Dershowitz has publicly called for the judges to allow ALL the documents to be released.

    • I wonder if the Left is at the point where they will now throw Bill Clinton under the bus in order to tear down Trump, in the same sort of way they were willing to sacrifice Al Franken back in 2017…

    • “I’m sure there are lots of photos of Epstein hobnobbing with lots of people, after all, he was circling the elite social circles for years.”

People with money rub elbows with other people with money. Epstein was a big donor to the Democratic Party. It makes sense that there would be photos of him with well-known people. There are probably a lot of photos of him with lesser-known people, too.

If having one’s photo taken with someone who later becomes notorious means one is involved in that person’s shenanigans, I’m in big trouble. Do you know how many photos I have taken with celebrities at conventions?

Not all of them are saints. Or will turn out to be someday, I’m sure.

  3. This previously unknown Robert Garcia guy seems to be the new Democrat rabid attack dog, replacing Jerry Nadler, Dan Goldman, Jamie Raskin and Adam Schiff. It seems to be a pretty highly coveted roll among ambitious congress men and a wonderful steppingstone to bigger and better things in the party. Truly remarkable. Garcia seems to have taken on this role as a solo. He seems relentless and shameless. I think he most reminds me of Adam Schiff saying he has proof of this and that when having nothing at all.
