I know I still haven’t written the promised post defining standards for diagnosing Trump Derangement. In posts like these, however, I am amassing evidence.
Morgan L. Morrow, a 39 year-old librarian at Jackson County Public Library in Ravenswood, West Virginia, used her TikTok account to call for the murder of President Trump, writing, “Surely a sniper with a terminal illness can’t be a big ask out of 343 million.”
Then she really went on a roll with this mad screed:
“If you voted for him, if you didn’t vote, if you voted independent, genuinely, I hope you get shot in the face three times at point-blank range or I hope you get shot in the back while on your knees being pistol-whipped. If any part of you thinks that I wouldn’t say that if I knew who you are? I have a pretty good idea of who you are, you haven’t hidden your ignorant villainy nearly as well as you think you have. And I said what I said.
This isn’t intolerance or woke hatred, it’s reactionary. You had a hand in what is happening today and I can only hope that one day you suffer as much as the immigrants, the people of color, the LGBTQ+ people have suffered for generations and how much mothers and nurses are suffering right now because you actually condemned them to this injustice with your vote. We ‘told’ you what would happen and you ignored us. In 2016, I was ‘fear mongering’ and even when they described it to you point by point in Project 2025, you actively made the choice to be willfully idiotic. No, and I mean NO amount of apologies or excuses will ever earn my forgiveness. You are as stupid and evil as your red cap leader and I hope you rot in hell with him.”
Ethics Alarms 
I was a little befuddled there for s moment. Mothers and nurses are suffering? Then I remembered the two people killed in Minneapolis while fighting the police.
Well, yes, when you encourage people from all walks of life to do stupid and inherently dangerous things, people from many occupations and backgrounds will suffer. If you could fabricate a campaign across the mainstream media and academia to climb into lion exhibits, or urinate into electrical substations, you might see bus drivers, school teachers, tax accountants, or line cooks suffer. R blame for that would fall partly on themselves for being gullible, partly on those encouraging their behavior, but not at all on the lions and substations.
Considering all the crazy things that people who think like this have done over the past almost 6 years, I’d say this woman’s getting off damn easy. It’s time we start making some examples. There are plenty of ways to express your disagreement and criticism without resorting to death threats.
I think you once said that Elie Mystal was “slobbering like a rabid dog,” or words to that effect after he said something along these lines although without the death threat. This is definitely no better than a rabbit dog slobbering or a rogue elephant trumpeting or a man eating tiger roaring in the jungle. Will any kind of charges stick? Probably not. Will people start thinking twice before spewing more of the same if it’s going to get them hauled downtown and their asses thrown into jail, where a lot of them probably wouldn’t survive very long? Maybe so.
This is cancel culture in reverse. This woman is exactly the kind of person who would say you deserve to lose your job and be thrown in jail for raising your right hand because it looks like the Nazi salute. I guess it doesn’t feel so great when the shoe is on the other foot.
JK Rowling said something to the effect that those who try to live their lives as hanging judges quite often fear ending up in the dock themselves. The mistake was doing this while there are still 3 years to go in this administration, so you can’t rely on a change of administrations to save you.
You cannot wish death publicly upon some of your patrons, patients, students, customers or constituents without suffering a few consequences. I don’t know why this has to be explained to people.
Where’s the line anymore on this stuff? If this were posted during any other administration, wouldn’t it at least generate a visit from the Secret Service? If this was directed at Barack Obama, people would be having a fit. Now, it’s just standard issue lefty, I don’t know, wishing out loud? I’m sure this would get thousands of “likes” or whatever the Tik Tok equivalent is. It’s praiseworthy behavior these days. What’s going on?
SCOTUS helped draw a line when it defined “true threats.” During Obama’s administration, I wrote about a kid who ended up in jail and was detained for a long time over an obvious trash talk “threat” while gaming. Naturally, the ACLU ignored the case.
Okay. So, “I wish…” or “I think…” are okay. Thank you. That cuts through the fog.
The public needs to stand up and stop this. The people in this town need to demand not only her firing, but the firing of the person who hired her. She is 39 years old and probably worked for the library for years. It is unlikely that no one knew about her beliefs, but the library field seems to have been taken over by rabid, violent Marxists and pedophiles. It is likely that the entire staff of the library needs to be fired and some non-librarians hired to run it. You may think that sounds extreme, but why did all the librarians across the country suddenly feel like children needed adult men dressed as women to read stories to them and talk to them about sex? Now we know that they secretly want to kill all the Republicans and probably their children as well. I shouldn’t have to pay taxes to employ someone who is calling for my extermination.
What do we do about the libraries? It is the same with the public schools. My son brought to my attention that the local high school has hired a registered sex offender. He was convicted of second degree sexual assault and sexual abuse of a minor. Now, all the kids at the high school know about it. The parents know about it. But what can you do? Three superintendents ago, it was found that the superintendent was pressuring the police and DA to drop charges against an employee who was molesting the children. This went on for over a decade. Finally, a police officer went straight to the press. The parents of the victims came forward and…the press defended the molester. The teacher’s union defended the molester. The DA at the time (Soros funded) defended the molester. The public finally did get the molester convicted (had to oust the DA). At the molester’s sentencing, the sobbing Superintendent and Principal of the school hugged him. So, the Superintendent resigned and was immediately run for office by the state Democratic Party. The school district hired a new Superintendent who seems to have left his previous district for…molesting kids. Now there is another new Superintendent…we will see, but hiring a convicted sex offender doesn’t raise anyone’s hopes. Everyone has just resigned themselves to the fact that the school district likes child sex offenders and there isn’t anything you can do about it. Are ALL the Superintendent candidates child molesters or at least supporters of child molesters? I asked a teacher who told me ‘probably’. I talked to a school board member who said they aren’t allowed to do anything about it because the courts have ruled that the teacher’s union has to agree to anything they do about personnel.
Homeschooling in my area is skyrocketing, not because of the nonexistent education in the public schools, but because their kids are being abused at the schools. Now, I don’t mean necessarily sexually abused, but emotional abuse from the teachers is rampant. Abuse by other students is tolerated as an equity measure. What do you do about the pubic schools except get rid of them? I think the public libraries are in the same position.

His boss, the former Sun Prairie West HS Principal, has been charged with three (3) counts of failure to report child abuse.

Failure to report child abuse is a flippin’ misdemeanor!

The Department of Ed suggested that about 7% of schoolteachers are sexually abusing the students in 2004. That is most likely much higher now. Some ‘guesstimates’ are that teachers molest between 10 and 100x more children than priests.

Every single progressive I work with celebrated the assasination of Charlie Kirk and loves Luigi Mangione. I’ve been around these types for a long time. The dysfunction runs very deep in higher ed and that type of community.
I think education needs a complete restart. Besides the obvious ethical issues, many of these people are incompetent.
