A long-time friend, part of a retired two-lawyer couple, just posted a furious anti-Trump rant on Facebook because “Trump’s” war on Iran has interfered with their planned three-week luxury cruise. “The mid-terms can’t come soon enough!” she concludes.
Naturally, no one is pointing out in the comments the warped values and priorities such a post conveys. The outburst also shows how confident bubble-dwellers on social media become that their world-view is the only one decent, intelligent and respectable American could possible adhere to.

Were they going on a cruise through the Strait of Hormuz?
Thank you, that was my immediate thought.
Perhaps there is a fuel cost surcharge they’re paying?
Nah. TSA employees have not been showing up for work because the Democrats won’t fund DHS.

Remember, studies have shown that the main people negatively affected by deporting illegal aliens are people who hire illegal aliens for slave wages to clean their houses, mow their yards, and watch their children. There used to be a name for people who imported people to do menial tasks in their homes. I forget it now, but I am sure they are the good people in history. I mean, historically, that group of people have been staunch Democrats.
And I bet their cruise ship is crewed below decks by Filipinos and Malays and other assorted “Pacific Islanders” willing to work for relative peanuts.
You can count on it. The only cruise ship subject to the Jones Act is the Pride of America that circles the Hawaiian Islands every week. All other cruise lines include at least one foreign port of call so they can avoid the Jones Act.
*The Jones act requires ships in US domestic trade to be built in the US, maintained in the US, and be crewed by workers legally authorized to work in the US. Globalists HATE the Jones Act.
I wonder how sympathetic they would be if someone’s Black Sea cruise got disrupted by the Ukraine war?
Maybe they’re Russian agents and were going on a government paid vacation in Sochi.
