Addendum to “Yet More Evidence [That]…Our Journalists Are Disgustingly Biased and “Enemies of the People”

Social media really pounced on that slimy use of words, where Phillip implied that the explosive device may have been intended for Mandani as well as the protesters, which makes no sense, but never mind: CNN got away with the Hunter Biden laptop lie, the Russian collusion lie, and the “Biden is as sharp as a tack lie,” why not keep running with this one?

While X’s readers context feature flagged the deceit…

…while others were less circumspect, like the commenter who wrote, “You are an inspiration to all people who are terrible at their jobs and never get fired.” Well put! If Phillip is an inspiration, what must the execrable Ana Navarro (of ABC’s “The View”) be, who even after Phillip was dragged for her lie, repeated it the next day on Phillip’s show?

I don’t understand how this can be happening without massive, pole to pole ideological public protest. These aren’t honest mistakes. These aren’t even mistaken opinions, These are deliberate efforts to confuse and mislead a public that is ill-informed and incapable of following complex events in order to achieve an hidden agenda. Yet even that fact, and it is a fact, can’t penetrate the fog or deception coming from a sector that we have been told all our lives not only that we can trust, but that we must rely upon to allow our nation’s democratic principles to be more than empty aspirations.

  1. Actually, I don’t think these “news” people are smart enough to concoct a conspiracy. I think they lie simply because they don’t care whether what they say is true or not (like an AI). What they say just has to fill air time between commercials. If they say something startlingly ignorant and incorrect, well, they got another moment of attention from the audience, didn’t they. That’s a point for them.

  2. These are deliberate efforts to confuse and mislead a public that is ill-informed and incapable of following complex events in order to achieve an hidden agenda. In the widest and most consequential sense, in dismantling and exposing “lies” were the object of anyone, and certainly of any corporation-aligned media organization, the entire focus of Americans in every sphere of life would necessarily be completely different.

  3. Correct me please if I am wrong, but the following seems to me a sensible statement about as to how an ‘average person’ must understand the nature and intentions of the present environment of narrative control:

[Andrew Torba wrote:] Governments, political campaigns, intelligence services, marketing firms, activist groups, and media organizations all understand the same brutal truth of the internet age: if you control the narrative online, you control how millions of people interpret reality.

Brad Parscale, Trump’s former digital guru, isn’t just consulting for Israel; he’s commanding a multi-million dollar digital mercenary army. They are seeding the training data of large language models—the “brains” that increasingly define reality for the AI—with deliberately crafted pro-Israel propaganda. They want to ensure that when your child asks an AI about this war or about Israel, the machine doesn’t just answer, it evangelizes for the “official story.”

Influencer campaigns. Coordinated messaging. Targeted advertising. Bot networks. Algorithmically amplified outrage. Manufactured consensus. Entire armies of accounts pushing identical framing across every major platform. This is psychological warfare.

If I consider such a statement as making sense and seeming to be true, have I fallen into interpretive error? Am I seeing things wrong or paranoiacally? It is your civic duty to set me on the right track. Please do so. I will be eternally grateful to have it outlined: 1) what is the right view to have, and 2) what method of analysis is to be used?

  4. This type of obvious lie is required and has its intended effect. The true believers believe it. They never see the correction and they don’t believe the people who refute it. The people who know it isn’t true spend all their time refuting the false reporting, not about why there was a protest against the Islamification of NYC.

So, why are they protesting? Muslims in NYC are now staging mass prayers in public. NYC blocks off a street every Friday for Muslim prayer. Times Square is blocked off on Fridays during Ramadan. They do this in England as well. They will surround a church and ‘pray’, blocking the Christian church. They pray in the streets and block traffic. They pray at Westminster Abbey, they block the streets and pray outside Downing Street Why don’t they pray in their Mosques? It is about control. In the UK, you can be arrested for preaching in pubic if you are a Christian. They even arrested a woman for silently praying after a complaint. But Muslims can block traffic 5 times/day, broadcast prayer 5 times/day and it is fine. England is even removing their former leaders, like Winston Churchill from their currency because it offends Muslims.

In NYC City Hall, even non-Muslim employees are fasting during Ramadan because Ramadan is being observed in City Hall. Mandami is going to the different departments and having all the top brass participate in Islamic supplication rituals to celebrate Ramadan. They pray to Allah, wipe their hands on their faces, the eat the Ramadan meal. Sanitation, Police, Fire, etc. In addition, Mandami has invoked the Hijira, when the Muslims left Mecca and conquered Medina as the model for immigration policy in NYC. Imagine if a Christian NYC mayor had all the heads of departments, Jewish and Muslim included, go to a sunrise service for Easter. Imagine if he invoked the 1st Crusade or the Inquisition as a model for how to approach Islam.

    • “This type of obvious lie is required and has its intended effect. The true believers believe it. They never see the correction and they don’t believe the people who refute it.”

This is correct. They know they can get away with it, too. True Believers will not believe the correction even if they do see it. They will argue that CNN is “caving” to Trump and/or his followers.

    • Michael, this stuff is really happening in New York? Caramba! How did so many Muslims get into the metropolitan area? Where are they from?
