I have a very good friend, an actor, a lawyer, a Jew and a “useful idiot” for progressives, who recently wrote a passionate and articulate Facebook post about however one felt about Israel, there was no excuse, justification or salvation for people who hated Jews. And I recalled that he had been among my misguided and ethically-crippled Facebook friends who actually celebrated the election of Communist Zohran Mamdani, as had others of my friends as well as Democratic Party Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and this august crew (from Mamdani’s website):
But it’s even worse. With the exception of the disgraced ex-Governor of New York who was running against Mamdani, not a single national Democratic leader would say publicly, “What???? Are you all out of your minds? This guy hates Jews! What has our party become?”
What indeed.
Of course there was plenty of evidence that the Mayor-to-be’s wife was a Jew Hater, but the Axis media went to its usual great lengths to bury that fact like a cat buries its turds in a cat box. Today the Washington Free Beacon did the public a favor with a metaphorical bucket full of ice water to the faces of all of Mamdani’s enablers, deniers and useful idiots. The post is headlined, “Zohran Mamdani’s Wife Celebrated Palestinian Terrorists, Including Plane Hijacker, In Social Media Posts From Early Adulthood…Rama Duwaji also boosted a post that said Tel Aviv ‘Shouldn’t exist in the first place.’” There’s no paywall: read it. Send it to your Trump Deranged friends, and all your blind Facebook friends who thought this Marxian demagogue was so charming and passionate.
Better yet, shake the Free Beacon story in front of their smug, stupid faces like a Jack Russell Terrier shakes a rat—you know I love that image—or even better YET, do this..
Now, they will huminahumina that just because someone marries the love of his life who happens to want Jews wiped from the face of the earth doesn’t mean Mayor Mamdani feels the same way. Right. Heck, we don’t know that Eva Braun was bad, do we? Riiiight. Mayor Mamdani just used St. Paddy’s Day to compare the Irish Republican Army to Palestinians, who want Jews wiped from the face of the earth. This isn’t hard.
As for the Mamdani-chering Jews, like my friend, a smart and compassionate man, who celebrated Mamdani because he opposes Donald Trump, there are no excuses. They should be ashamed of themselves. He should be ashamed of himself. I am ashamed of him. People should turn their backs on these ethically corrupted fools like the jurors in “Twelve Angry Men” turn their backs on Juror 10 (Ed Begley) when he erupts into his final bigoted rant..
The irony? I cast that pro-Mamdani actor-friend in one of my productions of “Twelve Angry Men.”
“A representative for Mamdani did not respond to a request for comment,” notes the Free Beacon. Of course not. What would he say?

Other than being breathtakingly clueless idiots for electing a proven virulent Jew Hater, funding the Warmth Of Collectivism is now giving New Yorkers something else to worry about; to wit ((bolds/caps/italics mine throughout):
Mamdani Might Raid A SEVERELY UNDERFUNDED RETIREE FUND To Balance NYC’s Bursting Budget
MONEY QUOTE: “Either raise the city’s already sky-high taxes or reach into its rainy day fund and retiree health-care trust fund, money set aside to pay for promised retirement health care benefits for public employees. BOTH OF THE MAYOR’S IDEAS WOULD WORSEN THE CITY’S FINANCIAL WOES AND DEBT WHILE ALSO FAILING TO ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM.”
MONEY QUOTE, 2.0: “As of March 2026, Zohran Mamdani is the Mayor of New York City, having been PROPELLED TO VICTORY BY STRONG SUPPORT FROM UNION MEMBERS AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES. His campaign secured endorsements from major labor groups, including 1199 SEIU, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), and the NYC Central Labor Council.”
Those “strong supporters” are going to get it, and get it good-n-hard!

You know, I really like my post. I wish more people would read it.
Jack, I have to say I disagree with the essay’s premise. Her being a Jew Hater (I hate “antisemite” as much as I hate “the Holocaust”) is a feature, not a bug. Democrats all hate Jews and Israel and Israelis. They like Muslims because they vote for Democrats. They’re okay with Islamists because they hate America. See the previous post containing the speech by the Israeli woman on Aussie TV. And frankly, liberal American Jews wish Israel would just kind of go away, decamp to New Jersey or someplace, any place. Israelis don’t need to be pushed into the Mediterranean, they just need to, you know, go someplace else. So, they aren’t shocked this woman, and her husband are Jew Haters. They voted for him in part because he is a Jew Hater, and, of course, his wife is as well. This is dog bites man stuff.
OB is correct. I wonder why people are surprised by his actions. He told everyone who he is. Now, people are angry because he is doing what he said he would do on the campaign trail. History should tell us to take some of these nutbatgs seriouisly.
See, once upon a time there was this little, obnoxious, short-tempered, miiserable wretch of an Austrian dude who got tossed in jail for an insurrection thing. While enjoying government housing at the best of of the Kaiser, he wote this big-ass book chronicling his unimpressive life and outlining his world view. It’s called “My Headache” or something. In that tome, he said he was gonna “solve” the Jewish matter once and for all.
After he got out of government housing, he and a couple of other miserable wretches ran around beer halls putsching his politics on anyone who would listen. Eventually, he won. Not unsurprisingly, he and hiis buddies actually implemented his ideas, which resulted in the bloodiest, most destructive world war known to humanity and led to the deaths of more than 6 million innocent Jews.
The moral of that story is: When someone tells you what he/she wants to do and how, even if it sounds damn well crazy, you should probably take said person seriously. Mamdani is no exception.
Mamdani is doing exactly what he said he would do. He and his wife are well-known, committed Marxists and antisemites/Jew haters. If New Yorkers were dumb enough to vote for that guy, well, they should not complain. Chickens, meet thy roost. They are getting exactly what he told them they would get. The unions supported him? Sure. They haven’t found a communist they haven’t liked. But, SEIU is merely a Marxist front group. That organization does not care one bit about New York or New Yorkers. The SEIU is dancing in the streets, celebrating that the Marxist Paradise is a few months away.

Great post, Jack; that part about the pro-Mamdani actor-friend being cast in Twelve Angry Men?
Priceless!

This is so simple: to have an anti-Israeli stance is not necessarily to be antisemitic in the European sense. There is literally nothing inherently unethical nor immoral in having a militant anti-Israel position and I will mention the position (once again) of Miko Peled and at least a dozen Israeli intellectuals who explain this position very coherently.
Additionally, and though fringe to Heredi (strict Orthodox) Judaism, there is Neturei Karta that, by religious and philosophical conviction, support anti-Zionist positions. There are Israelis and there are many Diaspora Jews who do not support Israeli Zionism. It has done harm to Judaism and Jewry.
And what? You are going to define them as antisemitic? You know nothing of Judaism and next to nothing of Jewish history.
So try as you-plural might — and mighty you are! — your ignorance of these issues reveals a core and abiding disregard for basic ethical principles. And you put ME in a position of having to explain all this.
So let me get this straight: Your enemies, those who have suffered at your hands (those families of those millions and millions killed in Vietnam and Cambodia; the hundreds of thousands killed in Iraq; the ridiculous numbers killed in Afghanistan) all these must never hold any level of resentment or anger for what you did, and they must grovel before your divine-granted righteousness? And kiss your military boots? What do you expect of other people?!
It is said that ‘the gods’ hate and punish hubris.

[From your Host: Just an update on the recent comment-bombing campaign by self-banned EA exile “A Friend”…In this illicit comment (in which I read about seven words out of the whole), he complains that I don’t censor commenters. Well allow me to retort: I don’t censor commenters. Of course, I can imagine exceptions, because there are exceptions to everything. Thank you for your attention to this matter.]
