Ugh.
I put this story in the category of “signature significance.”
Jessica Foster joined Instagram in late December of last year and in just a few month she has managed to become a conservative ‘influencer,” with a following on the social network surpassing 1 million. She is blonde, beautiful, serves in the US Army, and is a Donald Trump supporter who doesn’t go overboard in her posts. Here is Jessica in a stroll with President Trump…
What a pity she doesn’t exist. Jessica is an AI-created fake model designed to lure horny young men with IQs below freezing to Only Fans, the pay-for-porn website. “Public servant by day, troublemaker by night 🤍 i’m new to this, don’t be rude please 😭👉🏼👈🏼 btw i respond to every message, but be patient since I’m not a robot haha,” Jessica’s Only Fans bio reads, lying through her imaginary teeth.
Maybe she was designed to prove just how dumb a certain demographic of Trump supporters are. If that was the mission, I’m sold. Anyone who pays attention to any “influencers,” even real ones, needs to get a brain transplant, but following a bot-influencer because she has a pretty fake face and a nicely engineered rack takes a special kind of idiocy.
Well, that democracy thingy was a nice idea while it lasted.
The ethics of such creatures is so basic I’m embarrassed typing it. Putting a fake human being on the web without revealing that it (okay, “she”) is fake is more unethical than circulating web hoaxes, and almost as unethical as presenting a shambling, senile old man to the public as a functioning President who is “sharp as a tack.”
This scam is particularly diabolical because the Right can’t counter with an AI model of its own to attract gullible progressives. What would that avatar look like? Don’t get my over-active imagination started or I will have nightmares for a week.

Would it be punching down or the Streisand Effect for the president to sue OnlyFans for false representation or something of that nature?
“What would that avatar look like?“
Allow me to hazard a (heh!) GUESS
PWS
Pretty much what I expected, or some variation on Rose Delauro.
“This Is the GUY…” (bolds/caps/italics mine)
It just occurred to me; might…um…they have been mis-gendered…?

I thought that the ideological vectors for the Left were the existing Long March through the institutions, and the mainstream media capture.
As it is, I see center and right being much more curious and accepting of AI and emerging art/ content is being generated there.

Since my recent conversion from somewhat doubting, US government war-regime critical person who (believes) she can *think freely* to a full jingoist pro-Satan and his empires & pomps ultra-pro-American, I have a few things to say about this.
If you analyze why “average Americans” cannot think, cannot reason, no longer have backgound in traditional ideas or The Great Books program, and are faggots, lesbies or porn-addicts with sloppy crotch syndrome, you need only examine, critically, the absolutely unethical business class of America (I refer to “the Reagan class” as an emblem) that sold The People out to make a more-sacred-than-Jesus dollar. See for example The Marketing of Evil: How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised As Freedom by David Kuoelian.
It is all part of a giant System called Americanism. I do not mean original Constitutional Americanism (like Tocqueville described) but a late perversion that penetrates everywhere because it is a product of the sick soul. Fact.
As I have been teaching lately, if you think that things are going to magically repair themselves because of a bombing campaign and arresting a (dope) in Venezuela, you are in for a terrifying surprise. You have to understand how evil evolves when it possesses multitudes of souls and they become incapable of distinguishing and valuing higher orders of metaphysical (transcendent) being.
It’s great, it’s wonderful: reestablish America’s supply lines and bring home the dollars. But it won’t, it can’t, cure the spreading sickness I am talking about.
Now, the AI incursión that much further into the realm of the soul, and electronically into the mental and spiritual domain of your children’s minds, well that too is all part of the Great American Sell-Out which is entering a intensified phase.
Who’s behind thus? Who did this? Where is it all tending? Ryan? Steve from NJ? Hyper-Christian-Zionists and affiliated believers in the Highest Metaphysical principles and ends? I await solemn instruction.
Influencers?
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
― Edward Bernays, Propaganda (1928)
From those pictures, I wouldn’t be able to tell it was AI. That they were “duped” is not surprising when it looks like a real photo. The question to me is how to navigate AI. It adds an entirely new problem with mistrust and fake propaganda and news. Who was behind the scenes? I assume the AI didn’t decide to do it on its own, you need someone behind the curtain.
Who was behind the scenes?
Who shank the Ritz cracker?
Shrank (or should it be shrunk?)
Who shranked, who shrunked … 😎
lol. Shrunk? That is purely economics. People are incredibly price sensitive at the grocery store and there are lots of alternatives to Ritz, I mean you do have the brand loyalty but they want to make sure you don’t try another brand and thanks to lots of knowledge gathered by companies they know the last thing they want to do is to raise prices. Thus we have the incredible shrinking package. 😉 same price, less product. My favorite was the Kudos granola bar (or were they a candy bar since they were dipped in chocolate?) anyways I loved those growing up and when I bought them as an adult I was surprised to see they were 1/4 of the size with two less in the box. lol
Regardless, the marketing ‘sins’ of the US corporations and the use of AI as an influencer might be the same thing, but I feel like influencers fall more into media an tabloids than corporate greed and manipulation. Perhaps it’s all of the above.
Shrunk, I think!
The Ritz cracker shrinkage is economics. I actually posted about this before but the premise is we are incredibly price sensitive at the grocery store and will exchange to a lower priced alternative when the prices increase. Therefore we get the incredible shrinking package. I don’t think an Ai influencer falls into the sins of commercialism and corporate greed. I think it falls more into media manipulation and tabloids. I suppose we can’t know exactly since we don’t know who created the account in the first place. Perhaps it is greed and profit. Perhaps it is a foreign interest who wants to cause disruption. Or maybe it’s someone who wants to make MAGA supporters look bad and check the common stereotype boxes of MAGA supporters. Maybe it’s a group of hackers who want to steal identities. Hard to know.
There is a motivator in sales that relies on fear “The fear of missing out”. That is why sales are for a limited time only.
A corollary to this involves Maslow’s hierarchy theory. People have a need for safety so they seek to follow the crowd to which they seek to belong. This explains why some reasonable people are led by sociopaths to engage in bad behavior. Whether it involves teen mean girls or male jocks, twelve year old gang banger or even the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. Most members are seeking safety in the group for their individual reasons. The purpose of doxxing is designed to intimidate members of one side to exit that group in order to weaken to whole.
Social media influencers are merely capitalizing on others need for security. I’m sure that both sides have enough people to “influence” by virtue of incorporating specific social issues or common interests into their messaging.
The idea of following anyone let alone hanging on to their every word is an anathema to me. With that said unless you know the image generated is an AI fiction one can hardly be blamed to be fooled.
The corollary is “fear of not belonging”. I forgot to include that.
How are we drawing the line? I am informed and influenced by EA, but, of course do not let appearances override my judgment. Sorry to be rude but as far as I can tell, none of us is as hot as fake Jessica. I’m just sayin’.
