1. Nah, Trump Derangement is a myth!
2. If you want to see this orgy of hate and violence without the annoying commentary, here’s a link I couldn’t embed.
2. How does a mush-mouth like Topping have the gall to host a show of any kind? Jeeeez, whatever your first name is, get a coach! Learn to speak clearly. Slow the hell down. Not only are you hard to understand, your speech pattern is excruciating to listen to. This is malpractice.
Why hasn’t anyone told him?
3. Look at the hate on this crazy old bat’s face! What could possibly justify that?
4. There are several places on the web where one can purchase Trump pinatas. Here, for instance.
5. The onlookers cheering her on epitomize the description “angry mob.” The Axis of Unethical Conduct made them this way, hammering away at “Trump is a Nazi” and related slander and libel, day after day, for ten years. And it has caused brain damage. The remedy to speech is, we have decided as a nation, more speech, and “hate speech” is still protected speech. Inciting riots, however, is not protected speech. Nonetheless, inciting riots in slow motion, over long periods of time, by repeating demonizing and violence-triggering propaganda and rhetoric over and over again until it is embedded in weak minds, is legal. It is also unethical.
6. Do you think the crazy woman doing this while wearing a shirt that extols kindness on the front and the Golden Rule on the back recognizes the double standards she is embracing? It it intentional satire? Is she just an idiot?
7. Democrats cheer on this kind of lunacy while insisting that their “8647” rhetoric plays no part in the repeated assassination attempts. The only President I can find whose avatars were subjected to such vicarious and symbolic violence was Abraham Lincoln during protests like the draft riots in New York. (Confederate equivalents don’t count.) True, he wasn’t…
Oh. Right.
8. I react emotionally to people attacking and defiling images of the President of the United States. just as I do to flag burning. It is an attack on my nation, its institutions, its history and its values. The conduct shows civic disrespect that cannot be rationalized away.

Pointer: Steve Witherspoon
That woman’s behavior directly contradicts the messages she’s publicly proclaiming by wearing that shirt. I don’t think it’s satire, it’s brazen hypocrisy!
Hypocrisy: claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform.
The political left, especially the “progressive” left, has a huge behavior problem and I think it’s directly connected to them being indoctrinated or brainwashed into a cult of hate and when you hate you can justify almost any behavior, even behavior that’s evil.
From their perspective, and for example from the perspective of maybe even 70% of the nation when Trump’s police forces blasted that lady’s head off in Minnesota, these police actions (which look paramilitary and brutal), these policies, and also the brazen way they are conducted, evoke a sense of unkindness. That is how they see it, and in that sense they have been well trained in America’s civil philosophy: if you are here, you’ve joined. If you are a “neighbor” you have rights and you will be protected.
Don’t they sort of take advantage of an almost “natural” contempt for and resistance of Federal authority? Bizarrely, the Right shares the same sentiments when the Federal power expresses itself through DEI and politically correct progressivism. Then, it is tyranny and government possessed by communism (or various sorts of perversion).
“70% of the nation” is probably overstated by at least 20%…and that isn’t how they see it at all. You’re giving these people you label “well trained in America’s civil philosophy” far too much credit.
The woman isn’t knocking the head off the pinata because she’s angry that a woman died, being shot to death after disregarding a lawful command to exit her vehicle and then driving her vehicle at armed ICE officers.
The woman is knocking the head off the pinata because she’s angry that a woman died, being shot to death after disregarding a lawful command to exit her vehicle and then driving her vehicle at armed ICE officers…while Donald Trump was the President.
This woman uttered not one word of protest when millions of illegals were deported under both Obama Administrations…and she certainly didn’t knock Obama’s mug from a pinata. No one – neither the neighbors of those being deported by ICE nor any press of any ilk – paid any attention to the numerous encounters that occurred (some of which looked paramilitary and brutal) between ICE agents and those being rounded up for deportation…during the Obama years. Ms. Good never bothered to drive anywhere to protest men and women being separated from their families and forced from the country…when a Democrat was in the Oval Office. No one on the Left cared one whit about any of it.
These people are only angry because a non-Democrat Administration is enforcing the policies. This isn’t speculation on my part: we have the evidence from the Obama Administrations. If it was a Democrat President running the show and doing the same thing Trump is doing, Democrats would have cheered Ms. Good’s death as “ridding the world of a woman – probably an ‘anti-abortion Republican’ – standing in the way of progress.”
That’s kind of the way it is around here. Steve W. is approaching the hypocrisy from a different angle, but he’s 100% right.
The woman isn’t knocking the head off the pinata because she’s angry that a woman died, being shot to death after disregarding a lawful command to exit her vehicle and then driving her vehicle at armed ICE officers.
What I have been suggesting, though I think it is often misunderstood, is to try to get to the bottom, to really understand, just what EXACTLY motivates 1) these people (the Left, those with TDS) and also 2) you people. You are part of a whole and you are not in any sense distinct from one another. I admit that saying this will a) anger you or b) make you uncomfortable, but that cannot be avoided.
You are stuck on this ‘lawful command’ thing. Personally, I really agree that when the police give such an order that it should be obeyed. But you are missing the larger point: You cannot, when you are Donald Trump during a time of deep opposition that begins to border on open civil conflict, send paramilitary-like agents into a highly resistant city and shoot a lady in the head. If you do this, if you allow it, if you oversee it, you will LOSE in the realm of public relations. You can write in the sky from an airplane, or on Mt Rushmore, or vocally on a speaker from the back of a truck through all America’s cities, that you had the RIGHT to do this…
…and you will still lose. So, you are stuck in a ridiculous defensive posture. It was totally STUPID and completely counter-productive for Donald Trump to have sent police forces into Minneapolis and conduct things in that way. The political cost was HUGE.
This woman uttered not one word of protest when millions of illegals were deported under both Obama Administrations…and she certainly didn’t knock Obama’s mug from a pinata.
I take your point if the woman is considered as a generality. And if you bother to read what I write you will know that I propose that a major element playing out in America is one of identity. And also that of ‘contempt for Whites and whiteness’. So, if you and we really want to understand what is going on in America today, we will have to take off the typical interpretive lenses and examine deeper issues.
These people are only angry because a non-Democrat Administration is enforcing the policies.
That is certainly a part of it. But you are not taking into consideration that the Republicans were or are backed by a demographic faction. Fact. And that demographic faction is getting smaller and smaller as other demographic factions have more presence and democratic power within the existing system. So, in this sense the Republican Party is in a losing battle. When you say *Democrat* it really has to be defined as People of Color Party. And because of past choices, and past policies that *you-plural* have supported (because of American idealism) the world you created, and possible the world that only you can maintain, is being taken away from you. And you have NO IDEA what to do about it.
That’s kind of the way it is around here. Steve W. is approaching the hypocrisy from a different angle, but he’s 100% right.
Oh? Input him at 50% right. I sm at 90%.
Pretty much Steve writes the same post over and over again, year after year, century after century. And it is pretty much ‘useless complaining’. Myself, I tend to see things from a very different angle and I assert that MY ANGLE is far more useful, far more responsive, far more relevant. Because I am attempting to see *AMERICA* as it really is, not through some (absurd) romantic lens that favors vanity.
Alizia wrote, “Pretty much Steve writes the same post over and over again, year after year, century after century. And it is pretty much ‘useless complaining’.”
That’s quite a claim. I think you figuratively dropped your pants and fully exposed your bias.
Why is there a Spanish speaking guy with a megaphone saying, repeatedly, “Escucha!” in the video? “Listen?” What are they supposed to be listening to? Is this in Minnesota? It doesn’t look like Mexico. Very strange. But these people are embarrassing. I’m sure she’s a good, church-going Lutheran or Unitarian.
¡”Escucha! Estamos en la lucha.” Listen! We are here to fight or we are ready for the fight.
Leftists have the best slogans.

I’m guessing bat-shit crazy and evil.
In my view, perhaps easier for me because I choose “distance” and “objectivity” as a stance, you have to understand an almost schizophrenic division in the American psyche. Her shirt (backside) says “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (and her object is the Make America Kind Again). She sees herself as a warrior of that “civic kindness” which necessarily involves striking and harming the Emblem of what is established as unkindness.
I wonder if you-plural have even a minimal comprehension of the DESTRUCTIVENESS of America’s recent escapades in the Middle East? Does the idea of “hundreds of thousands killed” (Iraq) and for no solidly defensible reason, and said to be largely in service to a foreign state, have an effect on your consciousness and perception? The schizophrenic American only sees through one lens: the lens of self-righteousness. This is something amazing to me!
OK — you said it, not me! Bat-shit crazy and evil. At least we can say “such exists”.
You(plural) put me in the strangest and most uncomfortable position! pointing out your total hypocrisy!
America was founded on extreme dualism. On one hand, a political arrangement and an energy that inspired the entire world. But right next to it, or bound up with it, a capacity for extraordinary destructive violence. On one hand an Americanism that is religious in self-understanding — and indeed a Pentecostal movement, supposedly Christian, that also has spread out of America to the entire world …
… but simultaneously a blindness to a hidden side of the American personality which is easily seen precisely in the example of what was done to Iraq. But who does the moral reckoning? Who takes responsibility? American Christian Zionists allowed a pretty corrupt regime in the ME to approach genocidal destruction. By what moral, or immoral mechanism do you keep yourself from seeing WHAT YOU ARE DOING?
OK — “batshit crazy” will have to do until someone, somehow, clarifies this to me!
Trump has succeeded in destroying MAGA completely. His most dedicated supporters are turning against him because he has betrayed them and what he stood for, what he promised. He had an extraordinary mandate, likely that will never be repeated, and he completely screwed it up. There is an interesting video where MTG recounts how this happened.
TDS is deeply psychological, no doubt about that. As I have said in other places it is mixed up in sentiments of “white displacement” both in the sense of Whites who turn against themselves, their culture, what they built, and indeed their ownership of the Nation and its destiny; and the rise of a displacing minority who are doing exactly what humans do: taking advantage of their power, securing more power, participating in a semi-conscious psychological movement that is sweeping the nation, and will redefine the nation.
This process was clearly described just as it began, back in the 1970s (Wilmot Robertson).
Is it not incredible that the largest American population group, the group with the deepest roots, the most orderly and most technically proficient group, the nuclear population group of American culture and of the American gene pool, should have lost its preeminence to weaker, less established, less numerous, culturally heterogeneous, and often mutually hostile minorities?
With all due allowance for minority dynamism … this miraculous shift of power could never have taken place without a Majority “split in the ranks” – without the active assistance and participation of Majority members themselves. It has already been pointed out that race consciousness is one of mankind’s greatest binding forces. From this it follows that when the racial gravitational pull slackens people tend to spin off from the group nucleus. Some drift aimlessly through life as human isolates. Others look for a substitute nucleus in an intensified religious or political life, or in an expanded class consciousness. Still others, out of idealism, romanticism, inertia, or perversity, attach themselves to another race in an attempt to find the solidarity they miss in their own.
What most interests me is how “you” are divided against yourselves. Because “you” are exactly that class that allowed it to happen! The false idea of a “propositional nation” (creedal nationalism) replaced an ethic and an identity far more original to the early Nation. My sense is that this “division” and “turning against oneself” developed out of the Lincolnian “philosophy”. Norther nationalism, Northern hegemony, required a “hatred” to be directed against that former “structure of identity” that would be capable of defending itself, protecting itself.
If you seek the origin of that “self-contempt” and self-destruction that is “rehearsed” with such intensity in TDS, it really does require a deep self-analysis. That “hatred” is extremely complex. It is bound up in an extensive “grammar of self-intolerance”.
At this point what can you do? In a few months things will get even worse. The Democratic Hordes will come bursting forward again. The House will be lost. The Senate will likely be lost. Will Trump even make it through the term? Could it have been different? Possibly not, since ultimately this is an issue significantly bound to demographics.
(6) It isn’t hypocrisy. Just as you or I might say that you can’t just lock people up in cages, enslave them, and possibly kill them, our mind is exempting convicted criminals. This woman and the people around her would have no problem expressing that the ‘Be kind’ and Golden Rule statements only apply to the people they like. Everyone else gets what they get.
(8) They aren’t rationalizing it away. They hate this country. They have for at least 40 years. I haven’t met a Democrat in 40 years who hasn’t hated the US. Most claim it is not true, they claim ‘criticizing the country is a right’. This is correct, but if asked what they like about the US, they can’t come up with anything. If you only complain about what you don’t like about something, and can’t express anything at all that you like about it, you hate it.
Anger sells, and may get you elected Senator or Governor.
The WI brewpub owner who pledged free beer if Trump was assassinated is now running for Governor in Wisconsin. And in Maine the Democrats are willing to overlook the Nazi tattoo of the nominee for the Senate because of his hate for Trump. The ethics rot has thoroughly affected both the base and the leadership of the Democrat Party.
