I’d say that qualifies as an unethical tweet, wouldn’t you?
It doesn’t matter what the Democratic Party’s social media account was responding to, does it? (Stephen Miller referred to Democratic Party candidate for Texas governor as “trans.” Not that there’s anything wrong with that..) What does matter is that the party that has (often justifiably) condemned Donald Trump for immoderate social media posts, lack of self-control in his rhetoric and an addiction to ad hominem attacks stooped well below anything Trump has ever tweeted with a “Sopranos-esque” “Shut up you ugly fuck!”
That doesn’t mean the President won’t eventually go that low, but for the nonce, I really don’t care to hear anyone from that party (or that pimps for it, like, you know, the news media) criticizing the President for unpresidential language.
The tweet also tells us, as others have, what the character and attitudes of young Democrats are. If you don’t like mis-installed ethics alarms of current Democrats and progressives, just wait for the ones coming up the ranks.

“An alderperson for the City of Waukegan was charged after allegedly mailing in a vote on behalf of her dead mother. Dr. Sylvia Sims Bolton was charged with knowingly falsifying election material, a felony, and disregarding election code, a misdemeanor.The investigation began in March, according to the Lake County clerk’s office.According to election records, a vote by mail ballot for Mary Sims, her mother, was issued and mailed by the Lake County Clerk’s Office on Feb. 5.On Feb. 12, the Lake County Clerk’s Office processed the cancelation of Mary Sim’s voter registration after receiving notification of her death record from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The ballot was returned on Feb. 26
During a review, election officials identified that the voter’s death record had been processed prior to the return of the ballot. After evaluating the returned envelope and confirming that the ballot had been submitted after the voter’s recorded date of death, the matter was escalated internally and reported to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.
Bolton is accused of voting for her mother after she had passed away. She surrendered Wednesday morning.
‘The safeguards and verification procedures in place within our election system worked exactly as intended,’ said Anthony Vega. ‘Our staff followed established protocols, identified the irregularity, and immediately coordinated with law enforcement to ensure this matter is thoroughly investigated. Protecting the integrity of our elections remains our highest priority.’
The investigation did not uncover any facts linking the above allegations to her city duties as an alderperson.”
Gee, I wonder what party the “alderperson” belongs to? Since the media report doesn’t say, I’m assuming she’s a Democrat. (She is.) And how ironic that the only person who uses the mail-in ballot system to cheat happens to be an elected official!
Okay, I’m being arch. The Democratic party likes cheating and gaslighting. Just as Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary said under oath that the Southern border was secure and the entire party (as well as its media enablers) insisted that President Biden was “sharp as a tack,” it has claimed for years now that there is “no evidence” of widespread voter fraud and the more secure election procedures are “a return to Jim Crow.”
Ethics Alarms 
I’ve been reading about Robert Bork recently and his argument about censorship. I’ve also recently watched some older movies and started Father Knows Best. Our society has fallen very far in terms of basic standards. Trump and the Democrats are both guilty. This tweet is a bit more brazen, but decency standards are falling everywhere.
And there’s not photo of the Doctor either.

Are the Dems trying to rehabilitate Joe? After the debate, she praised Joe’s performance and she told Joe he did great. Now she’s saying she thought he was having a stroke? Maybe she thought behavior while he was having a stroke was great? Are they going for “Weekend at Bernie’s Two?” They think Joe is their only viable candidate for 2028?

I think the Dems are trying to rehabilitate themselves. For years they told us the Joe was fine, “sharp as a tack”, etc., and they had an excuse for all his physical indications of mental deterioration. They comes the debate and he vapor locks out in front of the nation… That left the party with coming clean over their hiding the mental deterioration over the course of his term or concocting some kind of event suggesting sudden diversion from the “sharp as a tack” Joe who had been running things. They are trying to sell the latter.
Did anyone at the time heed “Dr Biden’s” fear about a stroke and run him to the hospital for evaluation and treatment? If they did, I missed it. I had a TIA last year. My doc called it a “stroke”, his position being that if it cleared itself without medical intervention, it got the “transient” label and became a TIA. None the less, I received every test and scan known to medical science and that required an overnight stay at the hospital. So there is a protocol for stroke and that was not followed for the [nominal] leader of the Free World.
I smell a rat.
[If it makes a difference: I am 81 y/o, to date no recurrence of the TIA (or similar), remain self-propelled, and can drive at night.]
How does admitting that they perpetrated a dangerous 4-year fraud on the American People constitute rehabilitation?
Maybe I phrased that poorly. The option was aimed at explaining Joe’s debate melt-down. Obviously the admission of hiding his mental deterioration was never an option for them. The rehabilitation attempt is floating the “possible stroke” scenario via the former first lady, so they can claim he was just fine up until he tried to answer the question.
Using myself as an example, I lost speech capability for about 15 minutes and then it came back over the next half-hour or so. Even so, I was tested thoroughly before being released home. Joe apparently was not followed up in that manner. I’m a nobody. I have no responsibilities outside providing for my wife and dog. It often seems I cant buy Advil without a note from Blue Shield; Joe has top notch medical available without him having to consider the cost of same.
The Dems don’t want to deal with the “cover up” down the stretch in the upcoming midterms. The hope the stroke story will insulate them.
That’s my thinking. I could be wrong, it’s happened before.
Except that Joe had multiple gibberish episodes before. It’s gaslighting to pretend this was unusual, or even a surprise unless someone was in denial. Indeed, I remember having a discussion with a friend before the debate saying I was amazed Biden and his handlers would take the risk, because what happened was likely to happen.
The total lack of self-awareness is amazing.

It is not noticed often enough that Dr. Jill is evil – and stupid. If she’s trying to rehabilitate her husband by claiming his poor performance was due to a medical emergency, did she not realize that her failure to immediately call an ambulance would raise questions about her integrity as a First Lady and about her devotion to her husband of long standing? She cared more about her own position than she did about her ailing, elderly husband. She is not just unethical, she is immoral, evil, corrupt, heinous … shall I go on?
I always felt uncomfortable watching her, like something is off. I don’t know if evil is the right word, but she seems manipulative and like she enjoys status games. I’ve worked around people like her, and I tend to avoid them as much as possible.
Come on, now. You can’t hold ALL Democrats responsible when one of them does something offensive in public. It’s just the 99% that give the other 1% a bad name.
It’s an official Democrat social media account. That’s not “one Democrat.” If the party hires people so inclined, what does that tell you?
