How Bonkers Is Woke America’s Obsession With Normalizing The Transgender Fad? This Bonkers:

How far gone does a fanatic have to be to have an event like this and not expect most people to conclude that the organizers are out of their minds? Menstrual equity? Free period underwear?

The event is scheduled for June 17 and supported by Boston Mayor Wu’s “Office of LGBTQ Advancement.” I am solely tempted to do a riff on this, but I’m going to resist. Mayor Wu, who is about as wokey as a human being can get, is really getting away with this somehow. Wow. Talk about pandering to a minority! This may be an all time record.

  1. Well, I’m concerned that I don’t know what people mean when they use the word “equity”, I don’t know the significance of what this discussion is about or what they hope to accomplish with it, and the offer of free clothing of any kind indicates they’re desperate for people to attend, probably because the prospective attendees don’t know what the point of the talk is either. (“Consciousness-raising,” aka raising awareness, could result in people being more empathetic towards others, but I’d like people to specify that.) It might just be an event that exists to justify people’s paid positions.

Does that sum up your concerns, or do you have others?

    • the offer of FREE clothing of any kind indicates they’re desperate for people to attend” (caps/bolds mine)

      Free (frē) adjective: At _The_Expense_Of_Others.

    • I thought this is a great play on words.

      TRANS

      PERIOD

      PRIDE

The paragraph underneath had too many words with too many syllables.

      • Thanks, that helps!

Considering how many students are apparently dependent on school lunches because their parents don’t make enough money to feed them, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the situation is similar for menstrual products, but… how long has this been going on? How were people handling it in previous decades? Do school bathrooms not have dispensers where you put in quarters like public adult bathrooms do? Are schools just incapable of dissuading students from flushing them?

  2. Could be a bait and switch, but it does say free to attend …. Doesn’t mention a dinner charge, but there could be. Hard to know because it’s bat-shit-crazy anyway.

  3. Too much equality and liberty. At least that’s what Robert Bork would’ve probably said.

Valuing every whim as valuable self-expression and reducing standards of decency to a dull flatness will lead to some crazy stuff.

  4. Is there a formula for unpacking the intended meaning for any specific one of the fabricated identity constructs? I’m unclear as to whether a “trans menstruating person” is a female who imagines she’s a man but still has to deal with the reality of biology, or a male who wants to pretend he’s menstruating?
Never mind, I’ll just start making a list of people to sign up for it on their website form. How far are you from Boston, Jack?

    • or a male who wants to pretend he’s menstruating?

Just like I would have said noone would ever be male and believe they are a woman, I now say no man would ever cut himself to add realism to his cosplay. And, no medical establishment would develop a way to maintain an open wound so that he could bleed once as month on demand.

      • I’d suggest that any of them interested in authenticity should at least give it a shot, try self-tapping into a femoral artery at their chosen time, and see how that works out. Having the courage of their convictions should guide their actions.

  5. Some may recall Gavin Newsom’s…um…misstep ~ four (4) years ago when he proudly proclaimed that If Men Could GET PREGNANT This Wouldn’t Even Be A Conversation.

He was quickly, and [IMO] hilariously, reminded that any perceived failure (genuine of manufactured) to fully acknowledge the secularly sacrosanct Trans Industrial Complex will be summarily savaged by the Trans Mafia.

  6. BTW fellas, a very ‘brief’ search reveals that period underwear costs at the very low end $13, and at the high end $30. That’s each, not a package. Criminy!
