More Observations On The Jill Biden “Stroke” Narrative

“I don’t believe any of it. She said that during the debate, as she watched it on TV, she thought he might be having a stroke and that he’d never acted like that before or since. Sorry. Not believed. I think the new book exists to be sold — to make money — and to try to escape responsibility for depriving the American people of the power to participate in the selection of the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential candidate.”

Bingo.

4. Trump wrote on Truth Social this morning:

It is head-exploding that so many Americans do not comprehend what the Democratic Party has become and what it did to the Presidency, the nation, and the public trust—-in great part because of the news media’s complicity in the conspiracy—-with the Biden nomination, election and administration. This dark episode in our history should, if justice, common sense and civic literacy had their proper and essential primacy in our struggling system, guaranty the end of the Democrats. They should join the Federalists, the Whigs, the Know Nothings, the Bull Moose Party and the Dixicrats in the national dust bin of history. No one should vote for any Democrat ever again, because the leadership and culture of that party has been exposed as untrustworthy at government’s highest level. Allowing such a party to have control of the levers of power is incompetent, irresponsible, and irrational.

I am in denial, I guess. I see that L.A.’s lying, inept, foolish and failed mayor Karen Bass leading by 20 points in the primary polls. Angelinos are going to re-elect this mega-hack despite the crime, despite the drugs, despite the fires, despite the flagrant incompetence and her refusal to be accountable. Democracy is doomed if people won’t pay attention at the minimal level required to act in their own interests. I just can’t bring myself to believe a national political party is going to get away with a crime against democracy like the Biden conspiracy.

But I wouldn’t bet against it.

That was my decision a few years ago.

There was an episode of “Soap” once in which ditzy Jessica was accused of murder and the evidence against her was such that her defense lawyer quipped, “Clarence Darrow, arguing against a mute prosecutor with a jury full of Mrs. Tate’s family and friends, could not win this case.”

That’s where I am when it comes to voting for a Democrat again.

  2. Sorry, I suggest a few, uh, edits… (mine, of course)

It is head-exploding that so many Americans do not comprehend what the Democratic Party AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY have become and what they did to the Presidency, the nation, and the public trust. This dark episode in our history should, if justice, common sense and civic literacy had their proper and essential primacy in our struggling system, guaranty the end of the Democrats AND THE REPUBLICANS. They should join the Federalists, the Whigs, the Know Nothings, the Bull Moose Party and the Dixicrats in the national dust bin of history. No one should vote for any Democrat OR REPUBLICAN ever again, because the leadership and culture of those parties have been exposed as untrustworthy at government’s highest level. Allowing such parties to have control of the levers of power is incompetent, irresponsible, and irrational.

    • Except that this is nonsense, but an excellent example of the “a pox on both their houses” fallacy. Even with Watergate, the Republicans were diligent in seeking the truth and holding the Nixon administration accountable. Has a single Democratic figure or leader condemned the fake President scheme and the long, long cover-up? Not one that I have seen. That’s the distinction, and it can’t be spun away.

And, of course, there are the anti-Semitism, open borders, and serial abuses of the justice system for political gain thingies, but those require digressions….

      • Jack, even if I accept that Joe Biden is senile, Jill Biden is delusional, Karen Bass in Los Angeles is incompetent, and Zohran Mamdani in New York is a communist, the fact remains that for the third year in a row the swing voters will overwhelmingly vote on The Constantly Rising Price of Everything. Note that I’m avoiding the words “inflation” and “affordability” because that upsets you, but this is reality. It’s what actually felled Harris as Biden’s substitute in 2024 but then did the same to the Republicans in 2025 in the major elections in New Jersey and Virginia and clearly will happen this year in the congressional races.

Biden/Harris’s gross mistake in far too many inflationary Covid stimuluses – you don’t realize that I actually agree with you on the mistakes in Covid and lockdown policies – are now matched by Trump’s gross inflationary error with the tariffs. Last year I believe you complained twice that the midyear polls in 2025 were biased and wrong in pointing to problems for the Republicans, and I came on and said, no, they appear to be absolutely correct based on my personal knowledge of swing voters (especially citizens who happen to be of Hispanic heritage, since I also speak Spanish), and what was your response? You erased my comments. And where did that get you?

When people push back as the commenter just above did, you’ve got to pay heed, man. We are trying to help! Also, Jack, fewer posts, and just in general, slow down!!! Your blog will actually benefit! I have to believe many people are telling you this.

    • proe32754,

Here is why I disagree with you.

For many cycles, the Democrats have not wanted Bernie Sanders, a non-Democrat, to win the nomination. They want the support of his supporters, so long as he does not win. They control their nomination process, all while preserving the appearance of democratic processes.

I think this began in 2008. Hilary was supposed to be the “historic” nominee. A young upstart with no substantive record unseated her and became a different “historic” nominee and, eventually, President. He did not name her Vice-President, as that might have doomed his ticket. Obama went with the safe white establishment guy.

After 8 years, Biden should have pushed to be the nominee. The fact that he wasn’t but Hilary was suggests a conspiracy to pay the Clintons back for not getting Hilary in. So, Joe, who could have been considered the presumptive nominee à la H.W. Bush or Gore, let Hilary get her chance.

But, the Democrats had to make sure Sanders’ populist appeal did not usurp her. So, the Democratic Party has their Super-Delegates (do they still have them?) to keep out the candidates they really don’t want, like Sanders.

So, Clinton lost in 2016 and there was probably a deal with Joe that he step aside for Hilary and, if she does not win, he is on deck for 2020, so long as Sanders does not win. Meanwhile, he has to put the “super-historic” Harris on the ticket.

Anything to prevent white male Independent Communist Jew Bernie Sanders from getting on the ticket. (AOC is going to be trickier as she is a woman of color Democratic Communist of color (wait, did I mention that already; a fact so nice I mentioned it twice.)

And, Biden won, preventing Sanders from getting the nomination because the fix was in.

Compare that to Trump. No experience Trump pops up in 2015 to disrupt the Republicans. The establishment does not care for the populist upstart. Trump refuses, as I recall, not to back the Republicans nominee while the establishment Republicans adopt the pact.

Trump wins the nomination because the Republicans, whether through incompetence or fairness, do not control their nomination process the way Democrats, whether through competence or corruption, do.

And, he wins. Then, as the presumptive nominee, he gets the nomination and loses in 2020.

Under normal rules, he would be out. It was for Al Gore and John Kerry, Dole, H.W Bush, Romney, McCain, etc. Instead, Trump pulls off a Cleveland. A “Cleveland”? A “Grover”? A “G.C.”? He steam-rolled the Republican establishment for a third time. Granted, he had “proven” himself (proven himself of what is the question: a bull in a china shop of fragile Republican vases?).

Trump is President again because Republicans are to incompetent (or fair) to run their party the way the competent (or corrupt) Republicans do.

If the Democrats ran their party the way the Republicans do, Sanders might have been on the ticket at some point. If Republicans ran their party the way Democrats do, Job would have lost to Hilary (or Sanders, in the Bizarro world).

  4. Democrats open and joyous support of abortion, drag queens in schools, COVID and transgender extremism, and a straight envy of anyone who is financially successful has made it impossible for me unless the Republican is just awful.

I am more of a blue dog Democrat, with social conservative leanings but mild support for welfare, regulation, and such within certain bounds (except for universal health care, which is probably my most liberal position).

The current Democratic Party is now filled with actual socialists who want debauchery to reign everywhere in America and hate freedom, Christians, and Jews. They also actively root against our military succeeding in foreign conflicts.

    • Rooting for the Iranians to defeat Trump so they can take back the House in the midterms takes the cake. They’ve gone Jane Fonda, this time for lunatics who have lots of oil and have been saying “Death to America” for fifty years and will soon have atomic bombs.

      • Yeah I recently learned about celebrities actually going to Vietnam during the war to try to undermine the war effort. It’s disgraceful and should be illegal.

  5. The only Democrat I like today and I could vote for is Joe Fetterman.

There becomes a point that patriotism becomes meaningless. Just honestly, did a Joe Biden presidency make you proud to be an American? If you live in Los Angeles, California where the Democrat Party controls everything with zero chances for Republicans and Independents for the foreseeable future, would you be proud to be an American? Imagine that this is the future of the United States of America, with Kamala or Newsom as President, with the Democrats controlling all branches for the foreseeable future as all institutions are captured and all elections are rigged, would you still be proud to be an American? The majority of Democrats are not proud to be an American. They embrace DEI, Critical Race Theory, the 1619 Project, transgender ideology; they shame whites for being white and men for being men, and turn the nation into a freakshow.

So 250 after the birth of the nation, do we still think that it is worth it? Benjamin Franklin said “A Republic, if you can keep it”. Presidents like FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Reagan and Trump made people patriotic. The current Democrats … not so much. They may give green card holders pause and think, do I really want to embrace the vision of that party on the nation and become citizen of the USA?

  6. Back to the stroke narrative:

It is my understanding that an ambulance is present at such events to provide immediate emergency care to the president or either of the candidates.

Why didn’t someone (including Jill) intervene and take advantage of the EMT’s? Are Secret Service Agents not allowed to make that judgement call?

    Also, nice ‘SOAP’ reference.

  7. I have not seen enthusiasm for a candidate like there is for Pratt since Trump in 2016. If any Republican has a chance, I think he does. LA may be too far gone, though.

    • I first heard the term “yellow dog Democrat” from my son who’d heard his high school history teacher refer to himself as one. I think the true Democrat voter is simply voting against Republicans. I think most Democrat voters really despise Republicans. I have various theories on why that is, but boy, they really would vote for an old yellow dog rather than vote for a Republican. As far as they are concerned, it’s anyone who isn’t the Republican that has their vote. Yes siree!
