Is the scandal that Ossoff pays more on making himself look good than female politicians? Apparently his make-up artist is a really good one who has worked on many high-profile Hollywood projects. You get what you pay for, no? I don’t think Ossoff is that good looking: maybe he is genuinely hideous without his major touch-ups. Maybe AOC should pay more for make-up; can someone do something with her eyes to help her look less like an aroused Rhesus monkey?

Or is the presumption that the make-up bill proves that Ossoff is vain? John Edwards, before we found out that the one-time Presidential aspirant was a lying, adulterous dog, got skewered for paying obscene amounts of money for his magnificent hair to be styled. But aren’t most public figures vain? Does anyone not think Donald Trump wears make-up? John Wayne wore make-up whenever he was in public.

Ok, it’s a fact: Ossoff spends more than most politicians on make-up, mayeb more than any of them. So? That’s sort of interesting, I guess, like learning he has an extra toe or does a great Frankie Valli impression when he’s drunk, but is that something that should be reported as news? The Washington Free Beacon piece has the aura of an exposé about it, especially since the Senator is a Democrat and the Free Beacon likes embarrassing Democrats.

I regard the story as gutter journalism at worst, making a mountain out of a tiny mole hill at best. Anyone who cares about Sen. Ossoff’s makeup bill needs to get out more.
