EA discussed “ideological capture” earlier today focusing on the law and academia, but as Americans who were paying attention (and who don’t rely on the Axis news media for the news), we were introduced last week to the desperate straits of the Smithsonian Institution, saddled with a woke ninny who gives “land acknowledgments” at every opportunity, and who pretended, under oath, not to know just how obsessed with promoting racial division and public contempt for their own nation the museum under her charge is.
On July 4th, the White House released a thorough and nausea-producing report on just how much “ideological capture” has infected the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History (NMAH). Titled SAVING AMERICA’S STORY: How Ideological Capture at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History Erases Our Heritage, the report, which you can and should read here, presents a damning case.

…on the Smithsonian website, but there is so, so much more. For example, here is the Smithsonian insinuating, in text-book fake news fashion, that Ben Franklin may have used “enslaved persons” (the new, approved woke-speak for “slaves”) in his research, though there is absolutely no evidence of it.

This revisionism is cultural Marxism. Make the past uncertain by causing what is known to be relearned as a lie and subject to change per your betters and the future certain as those same betters deliver you to their utopia. Yech!

There has been a concerted effort to downplay American exceptionalism for decades, underwritten by the Department of Education, Academia, the news media and the entertainment industry. Ignorance of our traditions, our culture, our values, the very facts our history are ground underneath the Collectivist Tractor of Progressive Socialism that has worked to tribalize our country and uproot the bourgeoise that Hartig loathes so much.
Mzny of us had grandparents who are old enough when the media was pro-American.
Hell, kids’ cartoons supported the war. Imagine if Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny were fighting in the War on Terror like they did in World War II?
Media wasn’t pro America because being pro America was a good thing. It was pro FDR. And FDR was still fundamentally an American even though he wanted to revolutionize it.
If FDR hated war and didn’t want anything to do with defending the country after it was attacked you can be guaranteed the media would’ve followed suit.
An Historically Black University exhibited their whiteness by unenrolling incoming freshmen students who didn’t get their payments in by the July 10th deadline.

There is one thing missing from that poster that is very, very white culture.
Don’t throw gay people off the top of buildings for being gay.
That fact is really inconvenient for the cultural relativity folks. It is really inconvenient for the mass migration folks. Open borders gets you guys named Omar who shoot up Florida gay nightclubs or guys named Abdul who drive trucks into German gay pride parades. But the logical thing is a white thing too so figuring out that can be hard for some.
It doesn’t help that the media helped disseminate the belief that the Pulse nightclub shooter was confused about his sexual orientation so this was labeled general homophobia instead of Islamic homophobia.
Another instance of media mislabeling is their creation and application of the term “mass shooting.” Yesterday’s example is the Seattle shooting. It’s called a “mass shooting” to make it sound like the Parkland high school shooting where a single shooter targets and kills a large number of innocent victims. Now, a “mass shooting” is any incident where more than one person is killed or injured. Of course, most of these incidents, such as the Seattle incident, are simply gang banger shoot-outs. The gang bangers are never identified or shown in their mug shots. So, of color or Hispanic guys plunking each other in public places are not black on black or minority on minority crime, they are passed off as a “too many guns” problem. More annoying advocacy journalism.
Even if it was internalized homophobia, it does not give Islam a pass. Internalized homophobia exists because someone is gay, but societal pressure makes it impossible to live their life based on their strong sexual desire. Fundamental Christianity leads many of them to self eliminate. Islam turns them into killers.
Those two are not equivalent.
