Tough questioning from Congress isn’t “needling.” When he thought he was immune from tough questioning under the Biden Administration, Fauci said, “I am very happy to testify before any congressional oversight committee. I have nothing to hide. I can explain and validate everything that I’ve done.I believe oversight is a very important part of government structure and I welcome it and it can be productive.” Now that his jig is up, Fauci resorted to the Fifth Amendment to avoid Congressional oversight. Like his age, how long Fauci has served in government and how many times he has testified does not mitigate his disastrous actions.
But enough of Fauci for the nonce. The “Republicans pounce!” tactic came out with flags flying when thousands of Moroccans surged through checkpoints into the Spanish territory of the tiny peninsula of Ceuta, over-whelming the Spanish citizens there. NBC correspondent Raf Sanchez tried to minimize the episode, saying “most of the migrants have already returned home, but the images of chaos have rattled Europe and been seized on by President Trump” as he played a clip showing the President saying, “That same thing will happen to us if the Republicans don’t get elected.”
That’s not pouncing. That is a statement of fact. Not only did the Biden administration allow millions of illegal aliens to enter out country, but it also facilitated some small communities being flooded with massive clusters of immigrants from third world countries like Haiti and Somalia, who had no intention of adopting American values or cultural norms.
The next day, Sanchez said, “These images you’re seeing, they’re already being used as political currency here in Europe and in the United States. President Trump spoke about it yesterday, as you mentioned, attempting to turn this brief European and Northern African migration crisis into an election issue for the upcoming midterms….It’s still unclear exactly what sparked this mass exodus. Many said they went because they had heard on social media that the borders were open.”
Ya think? Sort of like how the Democrats signaled to migrants that our borders were open while the incompetent Secretary of Homeland Security told Congress that the Mexican border was “secure”? President Trump wasn’t “pouncing,” he was issuing a responsible and timely warning.
I’ve long referred to Angela Merkel’s pretentiously opening the EU up to Syrians and others fifteen or so years ago as “Merkel’s Boner.” Such utter arrogance.
Bonus points for the classic baseball reference…
“These images you’re seeing, they’re already being used as political currency here in Europe and in the United States.”
That’s definitely a creative way of saying “these images are being used as legitimate warnings”
Some of Europe is “pouncing” as well:
Italy: “Suspended the Schengen agreement with Spain for one month, applying targeted passport and identity checks on air and sea arrivals from Spain.”
France: “Increased police presence and tightened checks at its land border with Spain.”
Denmark and Finland: “Publicly suggested or supported proposals to exclude Spain from the Schengen zone due to border security concerns following the migrant surge in Ceuta, though no formal action was taken.”
Broadcast Bias: Networks Go From Hiding Fauci Diaries To Defending Him From Republicans
Bravo India November Golf Oscar!
To paraphrase Vito Corleone: “Listen, Whoever Comes To You Defending Fauci, They’re The Traitor. Don’t Forget That.”

There seems to be a toxic ideology behind this.
This ideology divides people into Designated Victims®™ and Designated Oppressors®™.
They feel Designated Victims®™ are entitled to a living merely because they are Designated Victims®™. They feel the Designated Victims®™ are entitled to live in any country they want, and it is wrong to deport them. They feel Designated Victims®™ are not responsible for their failings and their wrongdoing, and must not be held accountable in any way. They feel this way regardless if a particular Designated Victim®™ was personally oppressed.
Consequently, these people feel that Designated Oppressors®™ are ressponsible for all the suffering in the world. They feel Designated Oppressors®™. owe Designated Victims®™ reparations. They feel Designated Oppressors®™ deserve to be victims of violent crimes, even sex crimes, by Designated Victims®™. They feel this way regardless if a particular Designated Oppressor®™ personally oppressed anyone.
this is why they feel both the U.S. and Europe must admit hordes of migrants and allow them to commit violent crimes, regardless of whether or not the land is stolen.
