“When They Go Low, We Go High…” Suuure, Democrats: You Can’t Go Much Lower Than This

The Democrats have stooped so low in their desperation to get their revenge on Trump that their collective heads are underground. Harp is 35, Trump is 80, married, and has his very own trophy wife. The automatic assumption that no attractive woman could possible be chosen for a challenging job on her merits is moldy and sexist, one more bit of evidence that progressives are only feminists when it suits their purposes. Harry Truman, in one of his many dark-side visits, implied that General Eisenhower’s driver and aide, Kay Summersby, was really Ike’s belly-warmer based on nothing but her constant presence by Eisenhower’s side during the war.

Similar relationships never seem to gain the status of legitimate news when Democrats are under the microscope. As I have written here before, two loyal members of the Clintons’ cabal in Arkansas told me that Hillary’s ever-present aide Huma Abedin, later known as Anthony Weiner’s humiliated wife, had other more intimate duties, but that matter was never widely investigated by the captive progressive media or even implied.

My long-time boss, friend and mentor Tom Donohue, who headed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American Truckers Association (and was by far the most wise and talented leader I have ever known) always had a #1 aide with him at all times. She (for a while the position was held by a he) understood that she had to be available 24 hours a day, every day of the week. She traveled with him, ran every part of his complex schedule, and Tom’s beautiful, brilliant wife Liz was grateful and supportive of everyone who filled that exhausting role.

Tom once told me that every executive needs such an aide, and that they should be paid almost as much as the executive they work for. None of the woman who had that responsibility with Tom were married or in a serious relationship while they worked for him (Harp is unmarried) because they had no time. After I left the Chamber I worked for another brilliant man, Richard Halpern, who also had a female aide-de-camp who never left his side. Rich’s wife knew her well, and called her his “office wife.”

Since the #MeToo scam (see above regarding when Democrats embrace feminism), women have lost opportunities to fill these jobs (which are both wonderful experience and often gateways to executive positions—Tom always made sure that when one of his right-hand-women —that one doesn’t count—left his employ, she was launched on the path to financial success if she wanted it) because many male executives are afraid of being accused of sexual harassment.

The co-sliming of Natalie Harp and President Trump for trusting her is literally nauseating to me. She is sacrificing her private life to assist the President of the United States in doing what he thinks is best for the nation. Tom Donohue told me that he would have been about 50% less productive and effective if he didn’t have a Natalie. Personally, I feel like I could have conquered the world, metaphorically speaking, if I had such a skilled and dedicated employee devoting all her skills and attentions to my projects. Donald Trump, despite the gaslighting you get from the Trump Deranged, is among the hardest-working Presidents we have ever had, in sharp contrast to his predecessor, and Harp makes that possible. The President doesn’t deserve this fake, cheap-shot manufactured controversy, and Natalie Harp really doesn’t deserve it.

And permit me to add: yuck, ick, ewww, pooie, and as my Greek grandmother would say, σκατά (skatá). These are just bad people. Since the racist Dixiecrats, I don’t think any political party has been so ruthlessly unethical. I wonder if the public will ever catch on…

  1. Unfortunately I think the damage has already been done to Ms. Harp and it’s likely permanent, but I really think some kind of lawsuit is in order if these personal smears of Ms. Harp are not immediately retracted.

  2. Well, of course, all those other publications followed suit when one of them smeared Harp. They get their marching orders and their talking points from their preferred party. They craft a narrative and pound it into the ground faster than Dr. Goebbels could have believed possible.

I like to think the public is catching on. They don’t trust the news media anymore as the ratings slip. They just don’t have any other source to which to turn.

    • It’s so funny that when I enter “Fox News” into my search bar, I’m sent to a page that is titled, “Fox News – Conservative news and opinion site.” Can you imagine a similar search for any mainstream outlet yielding, for example, “New York Times – Liberal news and opinion site?”

      • That would be ethical. Terry Moran, ex-of ABC news, admitted this week that ABC was a “liberal” entity. It would be ethical to say so rather than bald-faced lying about being objective and independent, like NPR and PBS do.

        • This is going to end up like the European papers where there are liberal ones and conservatives ones; people read the ones they like and nothing else. Maybe we should just go back to the days when people just produced pamphlets under pseudonyms like Publius?
